Django @ Liberchies is a gypsy jazz festival, taking place every May since 2003 in Liberchies (Pont-à-Celles, Belgium), in honour of Django Reinhardt.

Gosselies (Walloon: Gochliye) is a town of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Charleroi, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. Located in the north of Charleroi, it was a city and a municipality of its own before the merger of the municipalities in 1977. Gosselies was the home of the headquarters of Caterpillar Belgium, as well as Solar Turbines Europe. The Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) is located in Gosselies too. On the pre-metro line M3, opened in June 2013, there are nine stations located in Gosselies. Since this date, Gosselies has been re-connected with the center of Charleroi and the SNCB Charleroi-South railway station by tram.

The Festival Django Reinhardt is a Gypsy jazz music festival held during late June or early July at Samois-sur-Seine, France, and, since 2017, in the grounds of the nearby Château de Fontainebleau. It began as a single evening festival in 1968, but in 1983, became an annual week-long event commemorating Django Reinhardt and his music.The festival combines a musical program with creative, leisure and artistic activities about jazz, guitars and Gypsies.

Liberchies (Walloon: Luberciye) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Pont-à-Celles, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It is situated along the previous Roman highway Bavay-Tongeren where a vicus was discovered. Geminiacum is the name of the vicus (Roman village) that developed along the Roman highway next to the center of today's Liberchies. This village was created in 30 BC and was occupied until the end of the 3rd century. Being created as a relay for the Roman troops, it developed as a small town with a cultural life and economic activities. In 1970, 368 golden Roman coins were discovered on the site of former Geminiacum. Liberchies was an independent municipality until 1964 when it was united with Luttre. In 1976 Luttre was united with Pont-à-Celles, of which Liberchies forms a district. Every year in May a Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival takes place in Liberchies, Django Reinhardt's birth village.

Courcelles (French pronunciation: [kuʁsɛl] ; Walloon: Courcele) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. As of January 1, 2006, Courcelles had a total population of 29,626. The total area is 44.24 km² which gives a population density of 670 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Courcelles, Gouy-lez-Piéton, Souvret, and Trazegnies. In 1944, the town was the site of the Courcelles Massacre of 20 civilians by Belgian collaborators. The event is commemorated by a plaque at the site.

Luttre (French pronunciation: [lytʁ]; Walloon: Lute) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Pont-à-Celles, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium, about 15 km north of Charleroi and 50 km south of Brussels along the Charleroi-Brussels Canal, railway line and motorway. Its name means crystal clear water.

The Church of Saint Sulpice (French: Église Saint-Sulpice; French pronunciation: [sɛ̃sylpis]) is a Catholic church in Jumet, a neighborhood of the Belgian city of Charleroi in Hainaut Province, Wallonia. It is dedicated to Sulpitius the Pious. The oldest material traces of a religious building on the site date back to the 10th century. Three churches built there before the current structure were identified during excavations carried out in 1967. The current classical building was built between 1750 and 1753 by an unknown architect. The brick and limestone church is uniform in appearance. It is composed of six bayed naves flanked by aisles, a three-sided transept, and a choir with a polygonal ambulatory with a sacristy in its axis. The chamfered base is in dimension stone on the frontage and in rubble stones and sandstone for the rest of the base. All of the building's angles are toothed and every second stone is bossed. The church has been listed as a Belgian cultural heritage site since 1949.

Roux ([ru]; Walloon: El Rou-dlé-Tchålerwè) is a town of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Charleroi, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It was a municipality of its own before the merger of the municipalities in 1977.

Maransart (Walloon: Maransåt) is a Belgian town and district of the municipality of Lasne, Wallonia in the province of Walloon Brabant. The holotype of the extinct crocodilian Dollosuchoides was discovered here in 1915 and the Middle Eocene Brussel Formation, where Dollosuchoides was recovered from, is known to outcrop near Maransart.

Pont-à-Celles (French pronunciation: [pɔ̃.t‿a sɛl] ; Walloon: Pont-a-Cele) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. On January 1, 2018, Pont-à-Celles had a total population of 17,287. The total area is 55.73 km2 which gives a population density of 310 inhabitants per km2.

The Arrondissement of Charleroi (French: Arrondissement de Charleroi; Dutch: Arrondissement Charleroi) is one of the seven administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Hainaut, Belgium. It is both an administrative and a judicial arrondissement. However, the Judicial Arrondissement of Charleroi also comprises the municipalities of the Arrondissement of Thuin.

Jumet (Walloon: Djumet) is a town of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Charleroi, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It was a municipality of its own before the merger of the municipalities in 1977. Church of Saint-Sulpice, Jumet is a Roman Catholic church in Jumet. The historic Union brewery at Jumet produced a local speciality Cuvee and a range of top-fermenting beers for its parent, Maes, but was closed in 2007. Grimbergen was one of the beers moved to Brasserie Union in Jumet, but since the closure of the plant in Jumet in 2007, the production moved to the Brouwerij van Alken. In 1995, Jumet was the site of the murder of two teenage girls by notorious Belgian serial killer, Marc Dutroux. The property has since been demolished and in its place now stands a monument to the victims.
