Notable non-residential buildings include the Lafayette Grammar School (1908-1910), Church of the Epiphany (1920), and the First United Methodist Church (1922).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

It was platted in 1909, and largely developed between 1916 and 1941. The Fairmount Park neighborhood is a culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood the City of Norfolk, Virginia. Fairmount Park consists of nine distinct neighborhoods including Fairmount Park, Willard Park, Lafayette Annex, Fairmount Manor, Lafayette Manor, Lafayette Terrace, Belmont Place, Bell's Farm and Kent Park. The neighborhoods are represented by the Fairmount Park Civic League, which represents over 2,300 households and is the second largest Civic League in Norfolk. The Fairmount Park neighborhoods have tree lined streets with a variety of architectural styles, including arts and craft period bungalows, Victorian farmhouses, European Romantic, American Four Squares, and the Norfolk Coastal cottage.

Notable non-residential buildings include the Ballentine School (1915-1916), Trinity Baptist Church (1953), United New Life Church of Christ in Holiness Church (1930), the Emmanuel Holy Temple Church (once the Fairmont Park Sunday School, 1920), and the Tabernacle of the Congregation Church of God in Christ (1930).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery is a historic cemetery and national historic district located at Norfolk, Virginia. It encompasses six contributing structures and one contributing object in cemetery established in 1854 to serve the Roman Catholic communities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake. The cemetery was established by the pastor of St. Mary's Church of Norfolk. Notable features include the large bronze crucifix erected around 1922 in honor of Catholic servicemen who served in World War I and six family mausoleums.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

American Cigar Company are two historic cigar factory buildings located at Norfolk, Virginia. The buildings were built about 1903 and consist of a stemmery and the boiler room. Albert F. Huntt is credited as the architect. The American Cigar Co. was created in 1901 as a subsidiary of the American Tobacco Company. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.The stemmery is a four-story, rectangular brick building on a concrete foundation. It has a flat roof and corbelled cornice. The boiler room building is a two-story, three-bay, brick building on a brick foundation.

The Williamston–Woodland Historic District encompasses a light industrial area of Norfolk, Virginia. It is roughly bounded by Omohundro Avenue on the west, 18th Street on the south, Church Street on the east, and the Norfolk and Southern Railroad tracks to the north. The area was developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and features a mix of architectural styles, from modest commercial styles to Moderne and Art Deco structures. Most of the buildings are either warehouses or light industrial plants, ranging in height from one to three stories. The land for much of this area was owned by Theodorick Williams prior to its development.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Southern Bagging Company, also known as Builders Supply Co. and Spaghetti Warehouse, is a historic factory building located at Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1918, and is a three-story, five bay by three bay, rectangular brick building. It has a flat roof and corbelled cornice. The building served as a manufacturing facility for bags for the shipping of cotton and agricultural products from the Norfolk harbor. The building subsequently housed Builders Supplies Corporation from 1924 to 1964. It housed a Spaghetti Warehouse restaurant from 1991 to 2001.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Booker T. Washington High School, also known as Booker T, BTW or the Academy Of Visual and Performing Arts, is a public high school located in Norfolk, Virginia. It is administered by Norfolk Public Schools system. The school colors are maroon, white and gold. The school is called “The Mighty Booker T” and the “Fighting Bookers" in Norfolk, Virginia.
