Vachon is a provincial electoral district in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It is located within the city of Longueuil and includes most of the borough of Saint-Hubert. It was created for the 1981 election from a part of Taillon electoral district and is named after early Quebec aviation pioneer Roméo Vachon, who worked at Trans-Canada Airlines; the district includes Montréal/Saint-Hubert Airport.In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged.

Saint-Hubert ( -⁠ HEW-bərt, French pronunciation: [sɛ̃t‿ybɛʁ] , locally [sẽɪ̯̃t͡s‿ybaɛ̯ʁ]) is a borough in the city of Longueuil, located in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada. It had been a separate city prior to January 1, 2002, when it along with several other neighbouring south shore municipalities were merged into Longueuil. Saint-Hubert had a population of 78,336 in 2006. The area of the borough is 65.98 km2 (25.48 sq mi). Longueuil's city hall is now located in Saint-Hubert. Saint-Hubert is located about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from downtown Montreal. The borough has a wide array of commercial, industrial and agricultural enterprises. The aerospace industry is arguably the most important of these enterprises. Pratt & Whitney Canada designs and manufactures jet engines at a plant near Saint-Hubert Airport. The Canadian Space Agency has its head office in the borough. The École nationale d'aérotechnique, a school that teaches aeronautics is located in the borough and operated by Collège Édouard-Montpetit.

Heritage Regional High School is a public secondary school located in Longueuil. Previously, the school was known as MacDonald-Cartier Memorial High School.

Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil Airport (IATA: YHU, ICAO: CYHU) (French: Aéroport Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil), also called Montréal/Saint-Hubert Airport, is located in the Saint-Hubert borough of Longueuil, Quebec. The airport is located 16 km (9.9 mi) east of Downtown Montreal and 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) east of Longueuil.As of 2017, it is ranked as Canada's 15th busiest airport by aircraft movements. This airport mainly serves travellers to Quebec destinations. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on a call-out basis from Montréal–Mirabel International Airport. CBSA officers at this airport can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.

Longueuil–Saint-Hubert station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in the Saint-Hubert borough of Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. It is served by the Mont-Saint-Hilaire line.

Promenades St-Bruno (corporately known as CF Promenades St-Bruno) is a two-level shopping mall located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, Canada. Ground was broken in the spring of 1977 to build the mall and it was completed in August 1978. Les Promenades St-Bruno is the largest mall in the Montérégie and part of its consumer base come from cities as far as Saint-Hyacinthe and Sorel-Tracy. The anchor tenants are The Bay and Simons. The Bay is the only one left among the five initial anchors, although it moved into the space that was vacated by Simpsons in 1989, with its original location being converted into a mall expansion in 1991. Aside from The Bay, the 1978 anchors were Simpsons, Miracle Mart, Steinberg's and Eaton's.

The John H. Chapman Space Centre (French: Centre Spatial John H. Chapman) is the headquarters of the Canadian Space Agency. It is located in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, in the borough of Saint-Hubert.

Centennial Regional High School (CRHS, French: École secondaire régionale Centennial) is an English-language co-educational comprehensive public high school located in the Greenfield Park borough of Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, a suburb of Montreal. It was opened in 1972 and named to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Canada's confederation. The school's student body is culturally diverse. In the 2011-2012 year, the school adopted a house system in an attempt to raise school spirit. It was previously a part of the South Shore Protestant Regional School Board.

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA; French: Agence spatiale canadienne, ASC) is the national space agency of Canada, established in 1990 by the Canadian Space Agency Act. The president is Lisa Campbell, who took the position on September 3, 2020. The agency is responsible to the minister of innovation, science and industry. The agency also has offices in Ottawa, Ontario, and small liaison offices in Houston; Washington, D.C.; and Paris.

The Quebec Aerospace Museum (French: Musée de l’aérospatiale du Québec) is an aviation museum, located in hangar H-18 at the Montreal Saint-Hubert Longueuil Airport in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada, a borough in the city of Longueuil. Founded on 23 August 2018 as a not-for-profit society, the museum currently has one aircraft.

René-Veillet Park, located at #1050 Parklane Street in the heart of the Greenfield Park borough of Longueuil, in Quebec, Canada has a set of amenities for sports and other types of recreation. The plans for the Parklane Cottage (now renamed "Centre sportif René-Veillet") were designed in 1973. The park was developed in 1974-75, as well as the recreation center. The offices of the Greenfield Park Recreation Department were previously located in the former Arena on Empire Street. At the opening of the Recreation Center, the recreation department was relocated to Parklane Park. After Parc Pierre Laporte, Rene Veillet Park is the second largest in Greenfield Park.
