The Election Commission of India (ECI) is a constitutional body. It was established by the Constitution of India to conduct and regulate elections in the country. Article 324 of the Constitution provides that the power of superintendence, direction, and control of elections to parliament, state legislatures, the office of the president of India, and the office of vice-president of India shall be vested in the election commission. Thus, the Election Commission is an all-India body in the sense that it is common to both the Central government and the state governments.The body administers elections to the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, State Legislative Assemblies, State Legislative Councils and the offices of the President and Vice President of the country. The Election Commission operates under the authority of Constitution per Article 324, and subsequently enacted Representation of the People Act. The commission has the powers under the Constitution, to act in an appropriate manner when the enacted laws make insufficient provisions to deal with a given situation in the conduct of an election. Being a constitutional authority, Election Commission is amongst the few institutions which function with both autonomy and freedom, along with the country's higher judiciary, the Union Public Service Commission and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. It is a permanent constitutional body.

The Patel Chowk Metro Station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro.It is the southernmost station on the Yellow Line in Delhi to have parking facilities. Cycles are also available for rent. It houses the Metro Museum, which opened in 2010. It is near to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The "Delhi Metro Rail Museum" is located at concourse area of this station. This station is used for accessing places like Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Kerala Bhawan, RML Hospital, Jantar Mantar, YMCA, YWCA and several major Govt offices like Dak Bhawan, Sanchar Bhawan, RBI Delhi, PTI, Yojana Bhawan, Akashvani Delhi, Election Commission of India etc.

The National Philatelic Museum (NPM) at Dak Bhawan, New Delhi, India, is operated by the Department of Post. The facility. which is housed on the ground floor of a building, underwent a redevelopment in 2011. It now hosts an amphitheater for presentations and discussions, a library and an area where artists can be seen at work, as well as displays of postage stamps and related items. The Museum has displayed number of frames in which exhibits of Post Independence era stamps can impress any Visitor with its charm. The frames have been arranged beautifully in different sections like section for Sheetlets, section for different themes, Section for Stamps from different countries. The museum organises philatelic workshops on regular basis with the students of different schools. Children discover many stories that stamps can tell and appreciate how these colorful and attractive stamps are educational yet fun for them. The museum also has a souvenir shop which offers variety of philatelic products like stamps, year packs, stamp albums, picture postcards, pictorial cancellation of National Philatelic Museum, and gift items.

The Imperial New Delhi is a historic luxury hotel opened in 1936 in New Delhi, India. It is located on Janpath, close to Rajiv Chowk. It was New Delhi's first grand hotel.

20, Ashoka Road, officially Sanchar Bhawan, is the headquarters of the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of India. It is also the headquarters of Department of Telecommunications of the ministry. The building is situated in the heart of the Indian capital, New Delhi. It is very similar in design to the Reserve Bank of India's Mumbai headquarters, and both were designed by the same architect, Firoz Kudianwala.

Cochin House is the former residence of the Maharaja of Cochin in Delhi. It located at Jantar Mantar Road 3. It is also known as Cochin State Palace.

Jantar Mantar is located in the modern city of New Delhi. “Jantar Mantar” literally means “instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens”. It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments. The site is one of five built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, from 1723 onwards, revising the calendar and astronomical tables. Jai Singh, born in 1688 into a royal Rajput family that ruled the regional kingdom, was born into an era of education that maintained a keen interest in astronomy. There is a plaque fixed on one of the structures in the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi that was placed there in 1910 mistakenly dating the construction of the complex to the year 1710. Later research, though, suggests 1724 as the actual year of construction. Its height is 723 feet (220 m). The primary purpose of the observatory was to compile astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets. Some of these purposes nowadays would be classified as astronomy. Completed in 1724, the Delhi Jantar Mantar had decayed considerably by 1857 uprising. The Ram Yantra, the Samrat Yantra, the Jai Prakash Yantra and the Misra Yantra are the distinct instruments of Jantar Mantar. The most famous of these structure, the Jaipur, had also deteriorated by the end of the nineteenth century until in 1901 Maharaja Ram Singh set out to restore the instrument.

The Palika Kendra is a 21-story building on Sansad Marg, New Delhi, India. Designed by Kuldip Singh and Mahendra Raj, it is among the few structures in Delhi that feature Brutalist architecture. After its inauguration in 1984 with a height of 91 metres (299 ft), it remained one of the tallest buildings in Delhi for years. It serves as the headquarters of the New Delhi Municipal Council and hosts the main server and the command and control centre of the civic body. The Palika Kendra is among 62 buildings and structures that the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage is trying to get designated as modern heritages of the post-independent India. On the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 31 January 2019, the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated a grand wall mural of Gandhi made up of terracotta kulhars on a wall of the building.

The Shivaji Stadium (known as ONGC Shivaji Stadium, following a re-branding) metro station is located on the Delhi Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro. The station opened on 23 February 2011.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (listen) is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India, and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar." It was first built as a small shrine by Sikh General Sardar Baghel Singh in 1783, on the bungalow donated by king Raja Jai Singh of Amer, who supervised the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in the same year, during the reign of Mughal Emperor, Shah Alam II.It is situated near Connaught Place, New Delhi on Baba Kharak Singh Marg and it is instantly recognisable by its golden dome and tall flagpole, Nishan Sahib. Located next to it is the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Radio Gold is a radio channel of All India Radio. It is aired in Delhi, Mumbai, Indore, Kolkata, and Chennai. The 106.4 FM Radio Gold also started its transmission in other centres of Tamil Nadu like Coimbatore, Tuticorin and more recently, in Puducherry.

Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, New Delhi, India, is an ancient Hindu temple and is claimed to be one of the five temples of Mahabharata days in Delhi. The other four temples are the Kalkaji, a Kali temple in South Delhi containing Swayambu (Sanskrit: "self manifest") rock Idol, the Yogmaya Temple near Qutub Minar, the Bhairav temple near the Purana Qila and the Nili Chatri Mahadev (Shiva temple) at Nigambodh Ghat outside the walls of Old Delhi.The temple, which has a self manifest idol of Hanuman, has an unusual feature fixed in the spire (Shikhara) in the form of a crescent moon instead of the Hindu symbol of Aum or Sun that is commonly seen in most Hindu temples. This became particularly important during the Mughal period corroborating this extraordinary depiction.The idol in the temple, devotionally worshipped as "Sri Hanuman Ji Maharaj" (Great Lord Hanuman), is that of Bala Hanuman namely, Hanuman as a child.
