Lime City is an unincorporated community in Wood County, Ohio, United States. It is part of Perrysburg Township and located at the intersection of Lime City Road and U.S. Route 20 (Fremont Pike). Lacking a post office, Lime City's zip code falls within Perrysburg's 43551.

WJYM (730 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to Bowling Green, Ohio, and serving the Toledo metropolitan area. It broadcasts a Christian radio format, and is owned by the ministry of noted Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart. The studios and transmitter are on Fremont Pike (U.S. Route 20 - U.S. Route 23) near Lime City Road in Lime City, Ohio. By day, WJYM is powered at 1,000 watts. But 730 AM is a Mexican and Canadian clear channel frequency. So to avoid interference, at night WJYM reduces power to 359 watts. It uses a directional antenna with a four-tower array. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator W295DB at 106.9 MHz.

Perrysburg is a city located in Wood County, Ohio, United States, along the south side of the Maumee River. The population was 25,041 at the 2020 census. Part of the Toledo metropolitan area, the city is 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Toledo. Perrysburg served as the county seat from 1822 to 1868. Perrysburg was surveyed and platted by a federal survey team in summer 1816. A local legend has held that it was designed by noted architect Charles Pierre L'Enfant, after he planned Washington, DC, but this has not been supported by fact.

Fort Miami (Miamis) was a British fort built in spring 1794 on the Maumee River in what was at the time territory claimed by the United States, and designated by the federal government as the Northwest Territory. The fort was located at the eastern edge of present-day Maumee, Ohio, southwest of Toledo. The British built the fort to forestall a putative assault on Fort Detroit by Gen. "Mad" Anthony Wayne's army, then advancing northward in southwestern Ohio.

Dowling is an unincorporated community in Wood County, Ohio, United States. The New Belleville Ridge Cemetery is located in Dowling.

Penta Career Center is a Public Vocational High School (grades 10-12) and Adult Education center located in Perrysburg Township, Wood County, Ohio, that opened operation in 1965. It serves 16 school districts from the five counties of Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wood, hence the name "Penta."

The siege of Fort Meigs took place in late April to early May 1813 during the War of 1812 in northwestern Ohio, present-day Perrysburg. A small British Army unit with support from Indians attempted to capture the recently constructed fort to forestall an American offensive against Detroit, and its Fort Detroit in the Great Lakes region which the British from the north in Canada had captured the previous year. An American sortie and relief attempt failed with heavy casualties, but the British failed to capture the fort and were forced to raise the siege.

Perrysburg High School is a public high school in Perrysburg, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in Perrysburg Exempted Village School District (Perrysburg Schools).

The Hull–Wolcott House is an historic building in Maumee, Ohio. Named for James Wolcott, a businessman in the late 1820s to the mid-1840s, only the Wolcott House is original to the site. Built by James Wolcott and his wife, Mary Wells, the Wolcott House began as a log house and evolved into a 14-room Federal-style mansion between 1827 and 1836. The house is a blend of federal and classic architecture. In 1826, James Wolcott and his Mary moved to Maumee. They purchased 300 acres for $1.25 an acre in 1827 and began construction of their home. Wolcott built wharves and warehouses on the Maumee River and constructed two steamships to transport his merchandise. . James and Mary Wolcott had five sons and a daughter. The house passed through three generations to Wolcott's great-granddaughter, Rilla Hull, who was the last of the Wolcott line to reside in the "Mansion on the Maumee". Upon her death in 1957, Hull bequeathed her home for public use and benefit. St. Paul's Episcopal Church transferred the landmark to the City of Maumee for use as a historical museum. Fort Meigs was a United States fortification along the Maumee River in what is now Perrysburg, Ohio during the War of 1812. The British Army, supported by Tecumseh's Confederacy, failed to capture the fort during the siege of Fort Meigs. It is named in honor of Ohio governor Return J. Meigs Jr., for his support in providing General William Henry Harrison with militia and supplies for the line of forts along the Old Northwest frontier.
