St Blazey (Cornish: Lanndreth) is a small town in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. St Blaise is the civil parish in which St Blazey is situated; the name St Blaise is also used by the town council. The village of Biscovey and the settlements of St Blazey Gate, Bodelva and West Par lie within the parish boundaries. An electoral ward named after the town also exists. The population at the 2011 census was 4,674.Once an important engineering centre for the local mine and railway industries, the parish is now dominated by the Eden Project. St Blazey is situated 3 miles (4.8 km) east of St Austell, 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Tywardreath and 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Par.The town takes its name from the Armenian Saint Blaise and holds a procession and service on his feast day, 3 February.

Kilhallon is a hamlet in the civil parish of Tywardreath and Par, Cornwall, England.

A passenger station was opened at Par on 20 June 1876 when the Cornwall Minerals Railway started a passenger service from Fowey to Newquay. It was adjacent to the railway's workshops. Although the station was built to serve Par, the entrance was on the west side of the town and close to the adjacent town of St Blazey. On 1 January 1879 a loop line was built to the Cornwall Railway station at Par and the Cornwall Minerals Railway station renamed St Blazey (Cornish: Lanndreth) to avoid the confusion of two stations with the same name. St Blazey station closed to the public on 21 September 1925 but continued to be used by workmen's trains to Fowey until 29 December 1934. Goods traffic is still sometimes loaded in the goods yard at St Blazey, which is otherwise used for storing wagons from the adjacent marshalling yard.

Originally a small mining hamlet, after expansion during the 20th century, Tywardreath Highway now directly adjoins St Blazey and is within the same electoral district. The hamlet contains around 70 houses.

St Blazey engine shed is located in Par, Cornwall, United Kingdom, although it is named after the adjacent village of St Blazey. It was built in 1874 as the headquarters of the Cornwall Minerals Railway but for many years was a depot of the Great Western Railway. Par (Cornish: An Porth, meaning creek or harbour) is a village and fishing port with a harbour on the south coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated in the civil parish of Tywardreath and Par, although West Par and the docks lie in the parish of St Blaise. Par is approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) east of St Austell. Par has a population of around 1,600 (in 2012). It became developed in the second quarter of the 19th century when the harbour was developed, to serve copper mines and other mineral sites in and surrounding the Luxulyan Valley; china clay later became the dominant traffic as copper working declined, and the harbour and the china clay dries remain as distinctive features of the industrial heritage; however the mineral activity is much reduced. Par Harbour and the beach at Par Sands are south of the village, and the latter includes a large static caravan holiday park; another small beach is at Spit Point west of the harbour. Between these two beaches the South West Coast Path takes an inland diversion through the village. Par lies in a triangle of streets which form a one-way traffic system. There is a variety of shops, a post office, a public house and other businesses.

Par railway station (Cornish: Porth) serves the villages of Par, Tywardreath and St Blazey, Cornwall, England. The station is 281 miles 66 chains (281.82 mi; 453.6 km) from the zero point at London Paddington measured via Box and Plymouth Millbay. It is the junction for the Atlantic Coast Line to Newquay. The station is managed by Great Western Railway, which operates the train services along with CrossCountry.

Par signal box is a Grade II listed former Great Western Railway signal box, located on Par railway station in Cornwall, England. Opened in 1879 and built to the first GWR standard design, it was set up to control the GWR's mainline onwards to Penzance, together with the junction for the branch to Newquay. Located at the southern end of Platform 2, when first built it was less than half its current length, only containing 26 levers. In 1913, the frame was replaced, and a new frame of 57 levers was added. A panel has since been added to control the section through to St Austell and Burngullow as far west as the now closed Probus and Ladock railway station. Signals controlled from Par carry the identification code 'PR'. In July 2013, it was one of 26 "highly distinctive" signal boxes listed by Ed Vaizey, minister for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in July 2013, in a joint initiative by English Heritage and Network Rail to preserve and provide a window into how railways were operated in the past.

Ponts Mill is a hamlet in Cornwall, England, UK. It is a mile north of St Blazey. Ponts Mill was once a port on the Par River, and as late as 1720, 80 ton seagoing vessels could reach the port.

St Blazey Gate (Cornish: Yet Lanndreth) is a settlement in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom in the civil parish of St Blaise. It is situated between the towns of St Blazey and Par on the A390 to St Austell. The settlement formed around a toll gate on the turnpike road to St Austell. The toll house is now a private residence.St Mary's Church is the parish church of Church of England parish of Par. It was built on land given by Edward Carlyon the owner of the nearby Tregrehan House and was consecrated on 1 November 1849. It was designed by George Edmund Street, his first commission, and built from the local reddish coloured Biscovey slate with quoins of Pentewan stone from the cliffs near Mevagissey.The Biscovey Stone is the shaft of an ancient Celtic cross. It was inscribed but the text is no longer readable. There are several theories about the stone, one says it dates from around 600 AD to show the Saxon advance into the county, another puts the date at around 900 AD. The head is thought to have been removed during the reformation. The stone served as a gate post near the St Blazey turnpike gate. In 1896 it was moved to St Mary's Church.

Prideaux Castle is a multivallate Iron Age hillfort situated atop a 133 m (435 ft) high conical hill near the southern boundary of the parish of Luxulyan, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is also sometimes referred to as Prideaux Warren, Prideaux War-Ring, or Prideaux Hillfort. The site is a scheduled monument and so protected from unauthorised works by the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979.
