Saint Xavier High School ( ZAY-vyər; often abbreviated St. X) is a private, college-preparatory high school just outside the Cincinnati city limits, in the Finneytown neighborhood of Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The independent, non-diocesan school is operated by the Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus as one of four all-male Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Aside from colleges and universities, St. Xavier is the second-largest private school in Ohio and one of the 100 largest schools in the state, with 1,366 enrolled students as of the 2022–23 school year.St. Xavier is the oldest high school in the Cincinnati area and one of the oldest in the nation. It grew out of the Athenaeum, which opened in 1831 in downtown Cincinnati. From 1869 to 1934, the high school program formed the lower division of St. Xavier College, now Xavier University. The high school moved to its present location in 1960. The Bombers football team and Aquabombers swimming and diving team have a national profile, appearing frequently at state championships and in national rankings. Graduates of St. Xavier include numerous professional athletes, three Olympians, prominent state and national politicians, influential businessmen, and noted authors and actors.

Charles H. Keating Sr. Natatorium (commonly known as Keating Natatorium) is an indoor swimming venue on the campus of St. Xavier High School in the Finneytown neighborhood of Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, just outside Cincinnati. It is operated by the Cincinnati Marlins, a non-profit swim team affiliated with USA Swimming. The facility serves as the Marlins' headquarters and central region training facility. It is also the home training base of the St. Xavier Aquabombers swimming and diving, triathlon, and water polo teams. Together, the teams have included 16 future Olympic swimmers.

Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS) is a private mortuary science college in Cincinnati, Ohio. CCMS is the oldest school of its kind in the United States, tracing its history back to the Clarke School, which organized its first class on March 8, 1882. The school was later called the Cincinnati College of Embalming, arriving at the present name in 1966. CCMS offers associate degrees and bachelor's degrees in mortuary science.

Finneytown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Springfield Township, Hamilton County, in southwest Ohio, United States, just north of Cincinnati. The population was 12,399 at the 2020 census. Finneytown is home to the largest private school in Ohio (St. Xavier High School) and the Cincinnati area's annual Greek Festival (at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church).Finneytown is named for Ebenezer Ward Finney, a Revolutionary War soldier whose burial site is located just south of the current township. The land was originally purchased from John Cleves Symmes by Rev. Ebenezer Ward, and given to his grandson Ebenezer Ward Finney.

Star Tower is a digital television and FM radio transmitting tower on Winton Road near North Bend Road in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio designed and built by the Landmark Tower Company. The three-legged lattice tower stands 954 feet (290.8 m) high. It is one of the tallest lattice towers in the world and the second tallest of the four that rise above 900 feet in Cincinnati, Ohio. The tower is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, though the company owns an additional tower in Mount Auburn for its main station in the area, CBS affiliate WKRC-TV (next to WSTR and WKRC's studios).

WGRR (103.5 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Hamilton, Ohio, and serving the Cincinnati metropolitan area. It broadcasts a classic hits radio format and is owned by Cumulus Media. Its studios and offices are on Montgomery Road in Norwood, Ohio, using a Cincinnati address.WGRR has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 11,000 watts. Its transmitter is off West North Bend Road at Winton Road in Cincinnati.

Winton Hills is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. The population was 4,787 at the 2010 census.Winton Hills is an area in between Northside, College Hill, Winton Place and Carthage. Winton Terrace takes up most of the area's space. Winton Terrace is a Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) project built for low income Cincinnati citizens. It was the first housing project in Cincinnati. It opened in 1940 as white only and did not take African American families. African Americans were not allowed until the late 1950s, but only because CMHA had built another white only project next door to Winton Terrace, named Findlater Gardens. Because it is so close, people rarely call the projects Findlater Gardens; many people still considered the projects to be Winton Terrace. Findlater Gardens being a whites only project did not last very long, just a few years. In 1965, Winton Terrace was 95% African American.

Finneytown Local School District is a school district headquartered at the Finneytown Secondary Campus in Finneytown, Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The Finneytown School District serves the entirety of Finneytown. The current schools in the district are: Finneytown Secondary Campus — 7th-12th grade Finneytown Elementary — K-6th grade

Finneytown Secondary Campus is a public high school in Finneytown, Hamilton County, Ohio, and is the only public High School in the Finneytown Local School District. The district serves the entirety of Finneytown which is in Springfield Township. Finneytown sports teams are known as the Wildcats. The Wildcats compete in the Cincinnati Hills League (CHL), a competitive small school league in the Cincinnati area. The high school also has a competitive marching band that competes in regional and national competitions.

Peter H. Clark Montessori Junior High and High School, usually referred to as Clark Montessori, is a junior and senior high school in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The school had around 700 students in January 2018. It is in the Hyde Park–area woods, on the former estate of Ohio Governor Myers Y. Cooper (1929–1931), with trails in its "backyard".. Clark is a part of the Cincinnati Public Schools. Founded in 1994 as a seventh-grade extension of existing district Montessori elementary schools, Clark expanded with its first class to become a full junior and senior high school by the 1999–2000 school year. The school has been given a rating of "effective" by Cincinnati Public Schools and was in the top three school selected in Barack Obama's 2010 Race to the Top.

Carthage is one of the 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1791 or 1792 and annexed in 1911, it is located in the northern part of the city's Mill Creek valley. The neighborhood is predominately residential, and is center of the city's Hispanic community. It shares a border with Elmwood Place, Ohio, which, with adjacent St. Bernard, Ohio, forms an enclave in the middle of Cincinnati. The population was 2,781 at the 2020 census.

The Smith–Jessup House is a historic house at 1038 W. North Bend Road in Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. Daniel Smith built the house circa 1825. Farmer David Jessup bought the house in the 1830s and lived there for much of the 19th century. The Federal Style house is an uncommon example of the style in unincorporated Springfield Township. The 2+1⁄2-story brick house features a three-bay front facade, a wooden frieze, and a gable roof.The house was listed in the National Register on August 23, 1984.
