Fuller, Smith & Turner is a public limited company based in London, England. Its origins lie in John Fuller's Griffin Brewery, which dates from 1816. In 1845, John Fuller's son, John Bird Fuller, was joined by Henry Smith and John Turner to form the current company. Fuller Smith & Turner was originally both a brewer and operator of a large chain of pubs, brewing its beer at Fuller's Brewery in Chiswick, West London. However, in January 2019 it sold its brewing division, comprising the Chiswick brewery as well as Cornish Orchards, Dark Star Brewing and Nectar Imports, to Asahi. Following the sale of the brewery, Fuller, Smith & Turner still own and operate over 380 pubs, inns, and hotels across the south of England, including 209 managed businesses and 175 tenanted inns. It has more than 820 boutique bedrooms in its managed estate and 44% of sites are within the M25.The company's registered office is now on Strand-on-the-Green in Chiswick, London.

The Association of Independent Music (AIM) is a non-profit trade body established in 1998 by UK independent record labels to represent the independent record sector, which in 2016 constituted approximately 23% of the UK market. Its members include record labels, self-releasing artists and distributors. It runs Indie-Con, an annual conference for the independent music industry.

The Grade I listed building Walpole House is the largest, finest, and most complicated of the grand houses on Chiswick Mall, a waterfront street in the oldest part of Chiswick. Both the front wrought-iron screen and gate, and the back boundary wall, are Grade II listed. The house was started in the Tudor era, with internal features surviving from the 16th and 17th centuries; the river frontage was built around 1730. The 0.5 hectares (1.2 acres) garden is listed in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens. Among Walpole House's famous inhabitants have been Barbara Villiers, Duchess of Cleveland, mistress of King Charles II; Thomas Walpole; Daniel O'Connell; William Makepeace Thackeray; and Herbert Beerbohm Tree.

Chiswick Mall is a waterfront street on the north bank of the river Thames in the oldest part of Chiswick in West London, with a row of large houses from the Georgian and Victorian eras overlooking the street on the north side, and their gardens on the other side of the street beside the river and Chiswick Eyot. While the area was once populated by fishermen, boatbuilders and other tradespeople associated with the river, since Early Modern times it has increasingly been a place where the wealthy built imposing houses in the riverside setting. Many of the houses are older than they appear, as they were given new facades in the 18th or 19th century rather than being completely rebuilt; among them is the largest, Walpole House. St Nicholas Church, Chiswick lies at the western end; the eastern end reaches to Hammersmith. The street, which contains numerous listed buildings, partially floods at high water in spring tides. The street has been represented in paintings by artists such as Lucien Pissarro and Walter Bayes; in literature, in Thackeray's novel Vanity Fair; and in film and television, including in the 1955 Breakaway, the 1961 Victim, and the 1992 Howards End.

St Nicholas Church, Chiswick is a Grade II* listed Anglican church in Church Street, Chiswick, London, near the River Thames. Old Chiswick developed as a village around the church from c. 1181. The tower was built at some time between 1416 and 1435. The current church dates from 1882 to 1884, when most of the building except the tower was demolished and rebuilt at the expense of the brewer Henry Smith of the nearby Fuller, Smith and Turner brewery. Several monuments survive, mainly in the tower. In the churchyard is a monument to the Italian poet and patriot, Ugo Foscolo; his remains were returned to Italy, but the Italian government added an inscription to the monument. The painter William Hogarth's monument, near the church, has an epitaph by the actor David Garrick. In the burial ground is the grave of Frederick Hitch, Victoria Cross recipient and veteran of the Battle of Rorke's Drift.

The George and Devonshire is a Grade II listed public house at Burlington Lane, Chiswick, London. It was built in the 18th century, but the architect is not known. The pub claims that it dates back to 1650. In the 17th century, the pub on this site was named "The George", probably after Saint George, England's patron saint. John Thompson's brewery, forerunner of the nearby Griffin Brewery, acquired the building in 1791. By 1826, the pub had been renamed to "The George and Devonshire", after the Duke of Devonshire who owned the nearby Chiswick House. It is his coat of arms that now adorns the building. The pub is the last in the former Old Chiswick village by the river Thames.A legend tells that smugglers of rum had a secret passageway from the pub's cellar to the cottages that once lined the Thames below St Nicholas Church.The pub serves beer from the Griffin Brewery next door.

The Hogarth Roundabout sees the merger of two of the nine direct feeders to the main radial roads to or from London. Namely the A316 Great Chertsey Road and the A4 Great West Road in Chiswick. In addition Dorchester Grove, becoming Chiswick Lane, branches off to the north and Church Lane to the conserved, affluent, Old Chiswick nucleus to the south. It contains trees and is much-lined with greenery yet is at surface level, save for a one-way flyover for much of the lighter eastbound traffic.

Chiswick Eyot is a 3.266-acre (1.3 ha) narrow, uninhabited ait (river island) of the Thames. It is a tree- and reed-covered rise on the Tideway by Chiswick, in London, England and is overlooked by Chiswick Mall and by some of the Barnes riverside on the far bank. It is the most downstream island purely in the Thames (as Canvey Island and two nearby islets in the lower estuary are co-fed by creeks and Sheppey is skirted by much flow from the Medway).

Frederick Hitch, VC (29 November 1856 – 6 January 1913) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross for his actions at the Battle of Rorke's Drift, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Metropolis Studios is a music production and entertainment industry company established in 1989 by Gary Langan, Carey Taylor and Karin Clayton. It is located in the Power House, a Grade II listed building, at 70 Chiswick High Road in Chiswick, London, England. Over the last twenty years the group has expanded and now consists of three divisions: Metropolis Studios, Metropolis Mastering, and Digital Media/Productions. Metropolis Studios was bought out on 31 May 2013 by 'MLML (Metropolis London Music Limited)' by Kainne Clements, (who also owns the Academy of Contemporary Music) The Group in 2017 gained a new CEO Richard Connell, a former Sony Music executive.

British Grove Studios is a recording studio located at 20 British Grove in Chiswick, West London, and owned by musician Mark Knopfler. British Grove Studios was built by David Stewart, the studio's former manager, and commissioned by Knopfler as "a monument to past and future technology". It has two studios. Alongside modern technology, the equipment includes two old EMI mixing consoles: a very rare tube desk from the 1960s like the ones used by George Martin and The Beatles, and a later console on which the album Band on the Run was recorded. The large console in studio one is a custom-made Neve 88R, while the console in studio two is an API Legacy. The main speakers are ATC monitors in a 5.1 configuration. Specifically, the full-range models are ATC SCM 300ASL (300A) mounted in standard left-center-right configuration, with two more 300As on a unique track system for surround. Dual ATC SCM0.1/15ASL PRO (Sub 1/15) subwoofers alongside the left and right mains provide the LFE monitoring. In February 2009, British Grove Studio was the winner of the Music Producers Guild Award for 'Best Studio'.Before Richard Wright died in 2008, he went to British Grove Studios to record a missing piano part from "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd. This was found to be missing by James Guthrie, who was remixing the Wish You Were Here album for an SACD release.
