Kranenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia

The Katharinenhof in Kranenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, was used from 1446 until 1802 as the home of a convent of sisters of the Catholic Church. After that time, the building served various uses. Since 1961, the house serves as a museum.

According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 44 houses and had a population of 140 in the middle of the 19th century.

De Horst is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 2 km east of Groesbeek.The village started to developed after the Divine Heart of Jesus Christ Church was built in 1928. On 20 September 1944, the village was in the line of fire during Operation Market Garden, and almost all buildings including the church were destroyed. De Horst and Groesbeek have been expanding into a single urban area. In the late 2010s, the municipality changed the place name sign to "Groesbeek De Horst". Nevertheless, it is still a separate village and not annexed.

Leuth is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 10 km east of Nijmegen. Leuth was founded on a sandbank in the floodplain marshes north of the river Waal. The earliest mention of the settlement, named Lotde, dates back to 891 and 892. The village belonged until 1815 to Prussia; Leuth was a separate municipality until about 1814. It became a part of the Prussian municipality Niel, until it was transferred back to the Netherlands in 1817, as a part of the municipality of Ooij en Persingen, which later has become a part of the municipality of Ubbergen.During the second war world Leuth was severely affected. The centre of the original village was almost entirely destroyed. The village has a small shopping centre and a primary school.

Achilles '29 Vrouwen is the women's section of Dutch football club Achilles '29 from Groesbeek, Netherlands.The amateur team is called Achilles '29 Dames and pre-dates the professional team (Achilles '29 Vrouwen) which was established in 2015. The Klever Reichswald is an Imperial forest in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) between the rivers Rhine and Meuse at the German–Dutch border. The forest is located in the municipal territory of Kleve, Goch, Kranenburg and Bedburg-Hau. It is the largest coherent wooded area of the lower Rhine and the largest coherent public state forest of North Rhine-Westphalia with an area of 51 km2 (5100 ha).

Duivelsberg (German: Wylerberg or Teufelsberg, which literally translates to 'the devil's mountain') is a hill and nature reserve in the municipality of Berg en Dal in the Dutch province of Gelderland, near the border with Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia). It is politically significant, however, because Duivelsberg is the only part of the Netherlands that was both annexed from Germany and retained after World War II.
