Aire Point to Carrick Du SSSI is a Site of Special Scientific Interest on the Penwith Peninsula, Cornwall, England. It is 5.98 square kilometres in extent, stretching from grid reference SW360279 to grid reference SW513410. The site is designated both for its biological and its geological interest.The site includes a Nature Conservation Review site and eight Geological Conservation Review sites. The whole of the site is included in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is within the Penwith Heritage Coast. Part of the site is within the West Penwith Environmentally Sensitive Area and some of the coast is owned and managed by the National Trust. The South West Coast Path, which follows the coast of south-west England from Somerset to Dorset passes through the SSSI.

Arthur Westlake Andrews (12 December 1868 – 22 November 1959) was a British geographer, poet, rock-climber, mountaineer and amateur tennis and badminton player. He was the son of clergyman and amateur geologist William Ryton Andrews and writer Marian Andrews. He trained as a geographer (FRGS 1896), and became a teacher of geography and history in Southwark. In 1913 he published "a text-book of geography", reprinted in 1922.

Trevowhan is a hamlet in the parish of Morvah, Cornwall, England, UK, and lies 0.5 miles east of the village of Morvah.A terrace of a house and two cottages in the hamlet is a Grade II listed building.In 1427 dwelling houses and surrounding land there was recorded as being held by a John Trevaygnon, but it was not known which Lord he was in the service of. In 1882 there were two farms there consisting of 82.5 acres.On 10 July 1745 John Wesley visited the hamlet and preached a sermon, during which a constable read the Riot Act.Trevowhan has a bus service which is used by visitors to nearby Chun Quoit.

West Lanyon Quoit, also known as Lower Lanyon Quoit, is the remains of a prehistoric dolmen situated in the parish of Madron in Cornwall grid reference SW423337. It was excavated in the late 18th century, and much of the structure has since been destroyed.

Boskednan stone circle (grid reference SW434351) is a partially restored prehistoric stone circle near Boskednan, around 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) northwest of the town of Penzance in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The megalithic monument is traditionally known as the Nine Maidens or Nine Stones of Boskednan, although the original structure may have contained as many as 22 upright stones around its 69-metre perimeter.

Porthmeor (from Cornish: Porth Meur, meaning "large cove") is a hamlet that consists of two farms, Higher and Lower Porthmeor, in the parish of Zennor in Cornwall, England. It should not be confused with Porthmeor beach at St Ives. Higher Porthmeor lies along the B3306 road which connects St Ives to the A30 road and Lower Porthmeor is nearer the coast.Porthmeor lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

Bosiliack Barrow is a barrow on the Penwith Moors between Madron and Morvah near the hamlet of Bosiliack in Cornwall, UK. The barrow is Neolithic and was excavated in 1984, causing little disturbance to the ancient site. The barrow is a unique Scillonian entrance grave which can be found on the Isles of Scilly and in West Cornwall.
