Lahore ( lə-HOR) is an unincorporated community in Orange County, Virginia, United States, which was named after the historical city of Lahore, Pakistan. It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. The elevation is 364 feet (111 m).The village was named in the 1800s by the owner of a general store, after reading and studying a book about the Subcontinent.

The Mount Calvary Baptist Church is a historic church at 11229 Kendall Road in Orange, Virginia. Built in 1892, it is a well-preserved example of a rural church built for African-Americans during the Jim Crow era. It is a frame structure with a metal roof and a projecting square tower topped by a pyramidal roof. The main entrance is at the center of the tower, set in a pointed-arch opening, matching those of windows on the facade on either side. Also on the property is a graveyard, established about 1919, with about 100 marked graves.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Paytes is an unincorporated community in Spotsylvania County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. The community is marked at the intersection of Lawyer's Road (Route 601) and Catharpin Road (Route 608) by an electrical substation owned by Rappahannock Electric Co-op. A telecommunications tower was approved to be built on the site to expand cell coverage in the area on February 28, 2001.The community stretches east from this intersection along Catharpin Road until it splits at a fork into two separate roads: West Catharpin Road, which continues to carry the Route 608 designation, heading east towards Spotsylvania Courthouse, and Post Oak Road (Route 606), heading east towards Post Oak (intersection with State Route 208 at Spotsylvania High School/Post Oak Middle School). Craig's Baptist Church/Community Center is located near the intersection of Catharpin Road with Craig's Church Lane (Route 684), which lies between the 601/608 intersection to the west and the Y-split of 608/606 to the east. The latter point is where a store/gas station stands: Keystone Grocery (14008 West Catharpin Rd). This store was long known as Baker's Store when it was managed by Najeh Abed, until the management and name was changed in 1999.

Mount Sharon is an historic estate house and plantation remnant in rural Orange County, Virginia. Located off Route 600 about 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of the city of Orange, the Mount Sharon estate house is a two-story Georgian Revival house built of concrete and faced in brick. It was designed in 1937 by Louis Bancel LaFarge for Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Augustus, on a plantation they purchased in 1935 from the Taliaferro family, which had owned it since the early 18th century. The Augustuses demolished the deteriorating Victorian-era plantation house on the site to build the house, which has restrained exterior styling, and high quality interior woodwork designed by LaFarge.The property, consisting of the estate house, several outbuildings from the 1930s, and 77.5 acres (31.4 ha) of surrounding land (reduced from the more than 1,000 that made up the original plantation), was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Bloomsbury is a historic home located near Orange, Orange County, Virginia. The original section dates to the early- to mid-18th century, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, frame Colonial dwelling with a steep gable roof and "U"-plan stairway of a form unknown elsewhere in Virginia. It retains nearly all its original late-Georgian interior detailing. It was doubled in size about 1797, with a two-story Federal-period addition that stands at right angles to the original block and is flanked by early shed-roofed end wings. The house was restored in the 1960s. Also on the property are a contributing 19th-century smokehouse, a contributing 18th-century cemetery, and a contributing garden site.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Lessland is a historic home located near Culpeper in Orange County, Virginia. It was built in 1871, and is a two-story, three-bay, gable roofed brick residence with a rear brick ell in the Italianate style. It has a central passage plan and sits on an English basement. The front facade features a portico with four two-story Ionic order columns and a shallow pediment over the central bay. Also on the property are the contributing law office, an icehouse, a meathouse, and a granary.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
