Headington Hill Hall stands on Headington Hill in the east of Oxford, England. It was built in 1824 for the Morrell family, who remained in residence for 114 years. It became the home to Pergamon Press and to media tycoon Robert Maxwell. It currently houses Oxford Brookes School of Law.

Headington Hill Park is a park on Headington Hill in the east of Oxford, England.The park is part of the grounds of Headington Hill Hall, previously owned by the Morrell family, bought by Oxford City Council, and leased to Oxford Brookes University since 1992. The landscaping for the park was originally designed in the 1850s by William Hart Baxter, curator of the Oxford Botanical Garden. The park was bought by the City Council in 1953 and landscaped with trees and ornamental shrubs.Headington Hill Park is located between the Marston Road and London Road. St Clement's links the park with central Oxford. On the other side of London Road is South Park, also owned by the Morrell family until 1939. Headington Hill Park is connected to South Park via a high-level wrought-iron footbridge over the main London Road up Headington Hill.Headington Hill Park has been used for many outside events including Shakespeare plays by Creation Theatre company and from 2012 has been used for wedding receptions.

South Park is a park on Headington Hill in east Oxford, England. It is the largest park within Oxford city limits. A good view of the city centre with its historic spires and towers of Oxford University can be obtained at the park's highest point, a favourite location for photographers.

Headington Hill is a hill in the east of Oxford, England, in the suburb of Headington. The Headington Road goes up the hill leading out of the city. There are good views of the spires of Oxford from the hill, especially from the top of South Park. Between 1644 and 1646, Headington Hill was used by the Parliamentarian forces while besieging Oxford during the First English Civil War. Headington Hill Hall, built in 1824 for the Morrell family (local brewers), stands on the hill, and is now the home of Oxford Brookes University's School of Law.

The Vines is on Pullens Lane, Headington, a suburb in east Oxford, England. It was the first house to be built on the west side of the lane, on land that was originally owned by the Morrell family, local brewers. The house is built of red brick with stone dressings. The house was built in 1889–90 for Professor Sydney Howard Vines (1849–1934). It was designed by the Victorian architect Harry Wilkinson Moore (1850–1915). In 1923, it became known as The Vineyard, after the first owner, Professor Vines. In 1948, the Vineyard was purchased by the United Oxford Hospitals, who renamed it to be Pollock House after its last owner. From 1948 to 1956, it was used as the Nurses Training School of the then Wingfield-Morris Orthopaedic Hospital, now the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. From 1958 till around 1976, it was used as the hospital's Night Nurses' Home. Subsequently, it was part of Oxford Brookes University until 2004. The house was renamed to The Vines, is now occupied by Scholarship & Christianity in Oxford (SCIO), the United Kingdom centre of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Close by, also in Pullens Lane, is Cotuit Hall, part of EF International Academy and previously one of the halls of residence at Oxford Brookes University. This was designed by the same architect, H. W. Moore, and built in 1892. In the past, it was known as Napier House.

Headington Road is an arterial road in the east of Oxford, England. The road connects the junction of St Clements and Marston Road with the suburb of Headington, up Headington Hill. When it reaches the Headley Way junction, it becomes London Road, as the Boundary Brook runs under the road at this point. To the south is South Park, from which good views of the city centre with its historic university buildings can be seen. Also to the south on Gipsy Lane at the top of Headington Hill is the Headington campus of Oxford Brookes University, originally the Oxford Polytechnic. Pullens Lane leads off to the north at the top of Headington Hill. Headington Hill Hall, built in 1824 for the Morrell family, local brewers, is nearby, with its associated Headington Hill Park bordering Headington Road to the north. The road is designated the A420.

Rye St Antony School is an independent Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 3 to 18 years and boys aged 3 to 11 years in Headington, Oxford, England. The school's name is commonly abbreviated and referred to by both pupils and staff as 'Rye'. Rye is unique as a girls' independent Catholic school due to the fact that it was founded by two women rather than by a religious order. In 2024, it will be merging with Headington Girls School to become a new school, named "Headington Rye Oxford".

Morrell Avenue is a residential tree-lined road in Headington, east Oxford, England.The road runs east–west in a gentle curve around the southern edge of South Park, south of Headington Hill, rising from west to east. At the western end is a junction with St Clement's (A420), part of the main arterial road leading east out of Oxford. At the eastern end of the road is a roundabout close to Warneford Hospital. It continues as Warneford Lane and there is a junction with Divinity Road to the south. The trees are mainly mature lime trees. The avenue is named after a local brewery family, the Morrells, who used to live on their estate at Headington Hill Hall to the north, including South Park. It was built in 1929–31, originally with council houses. The architect, Kellett Ablett, started working in the City Engineer's department at Oxford in 1925. The houses were judged to be of high quality for the time, both architecturally and environmentally.Morrell Avenue is mentioned in a number of books including The Silent Traveller in Oxford, originally published in 1944 and written by the Chinese author Chiang Yee, who lived in Oxford for a while. It is also mentioned in the book Dark Clouds Gather by Katy Sara Culling about mental illness due to Morrell Avenue's proximity to Warneford Hospital, which specialises in mental illness.On 9 July 2012, the Olympic torch was carried along Morrell Avenue before the London 2012 Olympic Games.
