Singletary-Reese-Robinson House, also known as Woodlawn, is a historic home located at Laurel Park, Henderson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1912, and is a two-story, "L"-form, Rustic Revival style log dwelling. It has a two-story rear wing addition and features a hip-roof wraparound porch. Also on the property are the contributing spring (1912), barn (1912), and a 19th-century log spring house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Holmes Educational State Forest (HESF) is a 235-acre (0.95 km2) state forest, located in Henderson County, North Carolina. It is near the much larger DuPont State Recreational Forest, which is responsible for its management. The forest is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it has rugged terrain with a mixture of hardwood forest, rhododendron, and flame azalea. The forest's primary purpose is education and promotion of forest resources. Forest rangers regularly conduct outdoor classes for schools and other groups from spring to fall. The forest also has self-guided interpretive trails, which teach visitors about forestry through the use of trail-side exhibits, displays and audio boxes. In addition, the forest offers a small network of hiking trails, a picnic area with a shelter and a group campground. The state originally purchased the forest in 1938 to establish a tree nursery, which was subsequently constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The state received a federal grant in 1972 to convert the nursery into an educational state forest. The forest was opened in May 1977, during its dedication to North Carolina's first state forester, Dr. John S. Holmes.

Bryn Avon is a historic estate and national historic district located near Etowah, Henderson County, North Carolina. Bryn Avon house was built about 1884-1886 and updated in the 1910-1920s in the Tudor Revival style. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, stone and half-timbered manor house. Other contributing resources include the estate landscape and terraced garden and four smaller family cottages: the Mallett Cottage (c. 1925); the Brown house playhouse (c. 1932); Yon Way-the Conrow cottage (c. 1920–1925) and Mr. Conrow's studio (c. 1925–1935); and the Bellamy Cottage (c. 1933–1938).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The district encompasses 55 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site associated with estates centering on the ambitious summer houses of the prominent Charlestonians. The homes includes notable examples of Stick Style / Eastlake movement, Second Empire, and Gothic Revival residential architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, also known as Connemara (Rock Hill). Other notable estates include Mountain Lodge, Argyle, Beaumont, Tall Trees (Greenlawn), Many Pines, Chanteloupe, Teneriffe, Rutledge Cottage, Dunroy, Treholm-Rhett House home of George Trenholm, Kenmure (Glenroy), Vincennes (Elliott House) home of William Elliott, Sallie Parker House, Enchantment, Bonclarken (Heidleberg), Saluda Cottages (San Souci), Tranquility, and the Rhue House. Also located in the district is St. John-in-the-Wilderness church and rectory, the Old Post Office, Woodfield Inn (Farmer's Hotel), The Lowndes Place (State Theater of North Carolina).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973; its boundaries were adjusted in 2015.

Camp Arrowhead, also known as Camp Glen Arden after 1972, is a historic summer camp and national historic district located near Tuxedo, Henderson County, North Carolina. It was established in 1919 by the Green River Manufacturing Company as a recreational facility, and became a boy's summer camp in 1937. The district encompasses 18 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 5 contributing structures. Notable Rustic Revival style contributing buildings include the Recreation Hall/Gymnasium (#1919; alterations 1941; ca. 1940s); the group of log cabins dating from the original use of the camp by the Green River Manufacturing Company (1919); Ramshackle Cabin (1937); the Dining Hall/Kitchen (1941; alterations c. 1946); Mansion Cabin (c. 1946); and the Horse Barn (1953).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Erle Stillwell House II is a historic home located at Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1935, and is a one-story, eclectic French Eclectic brick dwelling with some Tudor Revival style design elements. It has a multi-gable and hip roof and a massive brick chimney at the juncture between the main house and the garage wing. The recessed front entry porch features heavy-timbered arches and curved rafters, with a projecting front gable bay. It was designed and built by locally prominent architect Erle Stillwell, who built the neighboring Erle Stillwell House in 1926.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

It has a multi-gable and hip roof with flared gable ends and two brick chimneys with chimney pots. The entrance and sun porch are covered by ribbed copper roofs. It was designed and built by locally prominent architect Erle Stillwell, who built the neighboring Erle Stillwell House II in 1935.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The district encompasses 42 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a predominantly residential section of Hendersonville developed between 1908 and 1952. It includes notable examples of Queen Anne, American Foursquare, and Bungalow / American Craftsman residential architecture. Located in the district is the contributing Spring Street Bridge (1930) and the City Ice & Storage Company Building (1915).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
