The Newlands Historic District in Reno, Nevada is a historic district on the bluffs south of the Truckee River which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. It is a residential district bounded by the Truckee River on the north, Arlington Avenue on the east, Monroe Street on the south and Keystone Avenue, California Avenue and Sharon Way on the west. According to the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office:The Newlands Historic District was also recognized for its importance to Reno’s historic architecture, possessing a stylistic diversity and level of design quality rare in northwest Nevada. Many of the region’s best known architects of the early twentieth century completed some of their most significant residential commissions in Nevada in the Newlands neighborhood, creating several of Reno’s most outstanding examples of Period Revival and Craftsman homes. The Newlands neighborhood includes a broad but carefully selected mix of residential architecture planned by the community’s developers under the umbrella of the Newlands Company, who intended the buildings to blend with the neighborhood’s broader City Beautiful aesthetic. The landscape and architecture of the Newlands neighborhood defined the architectural and landscape development of future neighborhoods in the city and remains among the best preserved early-twentieth century residential areas in Reno.

The McKinley Park School, at Riverside Drive and Keystone Avenue in Reno, Nevada, USA, is a historic school building that was built in 1909. It includes Mission/Spanish Revival architecture and was designed by George Ferris. Also known as the City of Reno, Recreation Center, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It is a U-shaped 150-by-160-foot (46 m × 49 m) building with a south-facing courtyard. It is close in design to that of the NRHP-listed Mt. Rose Elementary School; with two more schools that no longer exist these make up a "so-called 'Spanish Quartet'" of four Reno schools built with the same Mission Revival style during 1909–12, when Reno was rapidly growing.In 1985, the building was used by the City of Reno for offices for its recreation program.

The Miller–Rowe–Holgate House at 18 Winter St. in Reno, Nevada is a historic house that was built in 1902–03. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005; the listing included two contributing buildings.It was deemed significant "for its association with the community planning and development area of significance, and the evolution of building use in Powning's Addition" development of Reno. After remodeling, the structure provided three apartments (flats) as housing to serve Reno's profitable divorce trade.

The Francis G. Newlands Home is a historic house at 7 Elm Court in Reno, Nevada, United States. Built in 1890, it is the former mansion of United States Senator Francis G. Newlands (1846-1917), a driving force in passage of the 1902 Newlands Reclamation Act. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1963 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. The house is privately owned and is not open to the public.

The Pearl Upson House, at 937 Jones St. in Reno, Nevada, United States, is a historic, two-story, red brick, simplified-Queen Anne-style house that was built in 1902. Also known as the Arrizabalaga House, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.It was deemed significant "for the role it played in Reno's community planning and development history" and "as an excellent example of Queen Anne architecture, as the style was manifested in Reno". It was named in its NRHP nomination for Pearl Upson, the first occupant identifiable in city directories.: 6 

The William J. Graham House, at 548 California Ave. in Reno, Nevada, United States, is a historic Tudor Revival house that was built in 1928. It was designed by George A. Schastey. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1983.It was deemed significant primarily for its association with William J. Graham—who had it built and lived there 40 years—who was "a major figure in the history of Nevada gaming, who also was prominent in other colorful aspects of 20th century Nevada history," according to its NRHP nomination.: 3  He was a developer of casinos and a redlight district, a bootlegger, and a fight promoter—including of the 1931 Baer-Uzcudun fight.The house is also notable for its well-preserved craftsmanship.

The Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, also known as the C. Clifton Young Federal Building, in Reno, Nevada, is a historic courthouse and Federal building which was built in 1965. It was renamed in honor of C. Clifton Young in 1988. It is located at 300 Booth St.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.The building's lobby features a mural, "Life Before the Frontier Era", painted by Richard Guy Walton.Major tenants are the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Trustees, Defense Contract Management Agency, U.S. Department of Labor, Federal Protective Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, GSA, SSA Office of Hearing Operations (OHO), and TSA.

Hawkins House, later known as Sierra Nevada Museum of Art, is a historic home in Reno, Nevada. It was designed in a colonial revival style by Elmer Grey for Prince A. Hawkins, a scion of the well-established Hawkins family, in 1911. It is now the offices of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA).It is adjacent to the Francis G. Newlands House, a National Historic Landmark.From 1978 to 1988, the building housed the Sierra Nevada Museum of Art, now known as the Nevada Museum of Art.

Greystone Castle is a small Tudor style cottage in the Newlands Manor section of Reno, Nevada, USA. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as an example of its architectural style as well as its ties into Reno's history as a migratory divorce town. Starting with the William E. Corey divorce, Reno became known for its much quicker and simpler divorce laws, the only requirement being that the individuals had to stay in town for six months to achieve residency. Greystone Castle is the type of smaller upscale housing that divorcing individuals used during their waiting period.

The W.E. Barnard House, at 950 Joaquin Miller Dr. in Reno, Nevada, United States, was built in 1930. It includes Tudor Revival architecture, and, within that, is best described as a Cotswold Cottage style small house. Its two most dominant architectural features are a beehive chimney and a "high-pitched, gabled entry with a characteristic Tudor arch".It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002; the listing included two contributing buildings. It was deemed significant "for its role in Reno's community planning and development history", having to do with its association with developer William Everett Barnard, and also "as an excellent local example of the Tudor/English Country Cottage style of architecture, within the broader category of Period Revival."

The Joseph H. Gray House, at 457 Court St. in Reno, Nevada, United States, is a historic house that was built in 1911. It includes Colonial Revival details in a form having Queen Anne-style massing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The listing included two contributing buildings.It was built for Reno department store owner Joseph H. Gray.
