Glenside Hospital, as it was known from 1967, previously the Public Colonial Lunatic Asylum of South Australia, Parkside Lunatic Asylum and Parkside Mental Hospital, was a complex of buildings used as a psychiatric hospital in Glenside, South Australia.Since the 1970s the original site has been subdivided and parcels of land sold off, largely for housing. The large administration building fronting the side was refurbished to house the Adelaide Studios of the South Australian Film Corporation in 2011. The site is sometimes referred to as "the old Glenside Hospital", the "Glenside Hospital historical precinct" or "Glenside Campus".As of April 2019, Glenside Health Services was built at the southern end of the site to co-locate mental health services with beautiful surroundings and shared garden spaces to enhance recovery. Services on site include Acute Care (Central Adelaide Local Health Network), Rural and Remote (Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network), Helen Mayo House (Women's and Children's Health Network), Inpatient Rehabilitation Services (Central Adelaide Local Health Network), Inpatient Alcohol and Other Drug Withdrawal Service (Southern Adelaide Local Health Network) and the Tarnanthi Forensic Sub-Acute Unit (Northern Adelaide Local Health Network). Adjacent to Glenside Health Services is the Jamie Larcombe Centre, providing mental health and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) services to veterans."

It is bordered on the north by Greenhill Road, on the east by Portrush Road, on the south by Flemington Street and Windsor Road and the west by Fullarton Road. The suburb has a rectangular layout. A number of residential streets in the suburb contain avenues of jacaranda trees, which provide a lush purple colour when they flower in Spring.

Dulwich is a suburb in the City of Burnside, Adelaide, South Australia with a census area population of 2,663 people. The suburb is adjacent to Adelaide's east parklands, and forms part of the western boundary of the City of Burnside. Dulwich is a mix of residential housing and commercial activity–corporate offices and businesses line Fullarton and Greenhill Roads. The suburb is bordered by Rose Park to the north, Toorak Gardens to the east, Glenside to the south and the Adelaide Parklands to the west. The area, which was settled by Europeans in the 19th century and used as pasture, made a slow transition to a residential suburb which was complete by the mid 20th century. Much of the area's 19th century housing stock has been recognised with heritage protection. Dulwich's close location to the Adelaide city centre, grand old houses and leafy tree-lined streets make it an attractive and sought-after suburb.

Fullarton is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Unley. It adjoins Parkside, Unley, Malvern, Highgate and Myrtle Bank and is bisected by Fullarton Road. Fullarton is bounded by Cremorne Street, Randolph Avenue and Fullarton Road in the north, Glen Osmond Road in the east, Fisher Street, Fullarton Road and Cheltenham Street in the south and Balmoral Street, Fisher Street and Windsor Street in the west.

Parkside Primary School is a coeducational R-7 school (5–13 year olds) located in the Adelaide inner suburb of Parkside. The school is located at 12 Robsart Street and occupies the land between Young Street, Robsart Street and Castle Street. It is one of South Australia's earliest established Primary Schools and currently has an enrolment of 410 students, who come from different cultural backgrounds.

Glenunga International High School (informally known as Glenunga or GIHS) is a publicly funded international school in Adelaide, South Australia. It is located approximately four kilometres south-east of the Adelaide city centre in the suburb of Glenunga, between L'Estrange and Conyngham Streets, adjoining the major thoroughfare Glen Osmond Road. The school serves the surrounding suburbs of the cities of Unley, Burnside and the Adelaide Hills. Glenunga maintains a strong academic reputation, and is one of only three South Australian schools to offer the Ignite program for gifted students. Glenunga is currently the only publicly funded high school to offer the IB Diploma Programme in South Australia. The school's current principal is Ms Wendy Johnson AM.With students from 76 different countries of birth, and incoming international exchanges, it is a highly multicultural school. It is the largest secondary school in the South Australian public system.

Rose Park is a suburb with a population of 1,374 in the South Australian capital city of Adelaide. It is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of Adelaide's central business district. Rose Park is a leafy, tree-lined and wealthy inner suburb containing a number of historical and contemporary attractions. Much of the area's 19th-century housing stock has been recognised with heritage protection. Part of the Burnside Council, it is bounded to the north by Kensington Road, to the east by Prescott Terrace, to the south by Dulwich Avenue and to the west by Fullarton Road. The area is mainly residential in nature, with commercial buildings along Fullarton Road, Kensington Road, and Dulwich Avenue. This places it on the very edge of the Adelaide Park Lands, bordering Victoria Park.

Victoria Park, also known as Park 16 and Pakapakanthi, is a park located in the Southeastern Park Lands of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is bordered by Fullarton Road, Greenhill Road, East Terrace and Wakefield Road. It hosts a variety of major events throughout the year, the most prominent of which have been the Formula 1, from 1985 to 1995, and from 1999 the Adelaide 500/Clipsal 500, cancelled in 2020 for the 2021 season, because of the COVID.

Highgate is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Unley. It is surrounded by Fullarton and Malvern.
