Yau Kom Tau (Tsing Yi)

Tam Kon Shan (Chinese: 擔杆山 or 担杆山) is a hill that stands between Moon Tsai Tong and Cheung Shue Tau on Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. Part of the hill was removed to build the west half of the Cheung On Estate. The nearby Tam Kon Shan Road and Tam Kon Shan Interchange were named after the hill.

Tsing Yi Nature Trail (Chinese: 青衣自然徑), also known as Kwai Tsing Reunification Health Trail is a hiking trail on Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. At the highest point, it has a view of Rambler Channel and Ma Wan Channel, with Ting Kau Bridge and Tsing Ma Bridge spanning over.

Fung Shue Wo (Chinese: 楓樹窩) is a basin in north Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The old villages in the basin have now been replaced by resited villages from the basin and nearby, including Tsing Yi Hui, Tsing Yu New Village and Fung Shue Wo Tsuen.

The Westminster Terrace (Chinese: 皇璧; Jyutping: wong4 bik3; pinyin: Huángbì) is a private housing estate located in Yau Kom Tau, Tsuen Wan District, New Territories, Hong Kong. Developed by Grosvenor Group in conjunction with Asia Standard Group, the single residential building consists of 59 four ensuite-bedroom duplex flats ranging from 3,200 to 6,500 sq ft.

Rambler Channel is a body of water in Hong Kong that separates Tsing Yi Island from Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung in the New Territories. The channel separates the two landmasses by 900 metres at its widest point. Historically, the channel was known as Tsing Yi Mun (青衣門) and Tsing Yi Channel (青衣海峽). The shoreline of the channel has changed rapidly in the last several decades, owing to the development of Tsuen Wan New Town and the Kwai Chung Container Port. Before extensive reclamation, Gin Drinkers Bay was located along the eastern shore of the channel, and Tsing Yi Bay was located along the western shore. Three islands (Nga Ying Chau, Pillar Island and Mong Chau) once stood in the channel as well.

Approach Beach is a gazetted beach located near Yau Kom Tau on Castle Peak Road in Ting Kau, New Territories, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is rated as Grade 2 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality.The beach, along with Ting Kau Beach, is one of the only two gazetted beaches in Tsuen Wan District that can "swim in Victoria Harbour". The beach offers views of the Ting Kau Bridge as well as Tsing Ma Bridge.

Liu To (Chinese: 寮肚) is the area around the valley in the midwest of Tsing Yi Island. There is a stream in the valley watering the narrow band of agricultural fields of Liu To Village (寮肚村). Its water formerly filled the Tsing Yi Lagoon and nurtured the rice paddies around the lagoon but now is just water flowing in the underground nullah to the Rambler Channel. The valley has occasionally been referred to as the Liu To Valley (寮肚谷) and the surrounding hills as Liu To Hill (寮肚山). The Mount Haven (曉峰園) private housing estate sits deep in the valley, while the Cheung Wang Estate and the Cheung Hang Estate stand on the surrounding hills to the north. Liu To Bridge, part of Tsing Yi West Road, spans the valley. The Tsing Yi Nature Trail runs over the hills at the back of the valley.

Yau Kom Tau, sometimes transliterated as Yau Kam Tau (油柑頭; Cantonese Yale: yàuh gām tàuh) is an area in the Tsuen Wan District of Hong Kong. Yau Kom Tau Village and Tsuen Wan Sam Tsuen are located in this area.

Tsing Yi Hui (Chinese: 青衣墟) was a town on Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. Many people at that time referred to the town as Tsing Yi Main Street (青衣大街), namely the main street of the town. In Cantonese, the character hui (墟) means a periodic market, where people gather at a fixed time, usually every nine to ten days. However, the stalls and shops open every day in the town. It is the possibly one of the reasons that people called the town main street.

Mun Tsai Tong or Moon Tsai Tong (Chinese: 門仔塘) was a harbour located between northeast Tsing Yi Island and Nga Ying Chau in Hong Kong. It was reclaimed for the development of a new town on Tsing Yi Island in 1980s. The harbour became two public housing estates, Cheung On Estate and Cheung Fat Estate. The harbour once protected the boats of fishermen and boat-people that were affected by the reclamation of Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung areas. They were forced to leave again when reclamation on the harbour started. CARE and Caritas Hong Kong built homes for them in the nearby hill, namely Tsing Yi Fishermen Village (青衣漁民村) and St. Paul's Village (聖保祿村). Tsing Yi Fishermen's Children's School was established by the Fish Marketing Organisation above the hill nearby on the Tsing Yi Island.

Liu To Village (Chinese: 寮肚村) is one of the oldest villages in Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It has at least 200 years of history. Liu To Village is located in the Liu To valley. It is surrounded by three mountains and divided into three small communities: North Liu To Village, South Liu To Village and South-west Liu To Village. Some of the housings are squatters; some of them are licensed village houses. In the early 1990s, there were about 300 villagers.

Villa Esplanada (Chinese: 灝景灣) is a private housing estate developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, China Resources and Cheung Kong on Tsing Yi Island in Hong Kong. It locates on the relocated oil depots on the former island Nga Ying Chau. It is close to Ching Wang Court, Tsing Yi station of MTR and Airport Express. The flats were sold in three phases.It consists of ten blocks of high-rise buildings surrounded by a terrace of green plants and tree and adjacent to the seashore.
