Villa Esplanada

Mun Tsai Tong or Moon Tsai Tong (Chinese: 門仔塘) was a harbour located between northeast Tsing Yi Island and Nga Ying Chau in Hong Kong. It was reclaimed for the development of a new town on Tsing Yi Island in 1980s. The harbour became two public housing estates, Cheung On Estate and Cheung Fat Estate. The harbour once protected the boats of fishermen and boat-people that were affected by the reclamation of Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung areas. They were forced to leave again when reclamation on the harbour started. CARE and Caritas Hong Kong built homes for them in the nearby hill, namely Tsing Yi Fishermen Village (青衣漁民村) and St. Paul's Village (聖保祿村). Tsing Yi Fishermen's Children's School was established by the Fish Marketing Organisation above the hill nearby on the Tsing Yi Island.

Cheung On Estate (Chinese: 長安邨) is a public housing estate in Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong built on reclaimed land in Tsing Yi North near Tsing Yi Northeast Park and MTR Tsing Yi station. It consists of ten residential blocks completed between 1987 and 1989. Among 7,338 flats in the estate, 5,617 flats have been sold to the residents under the TPS Phase 1 since January 1998.

The Church of Christ in China Yenching College (Chinese: 中華基督教會燕京書院), or CCC Yenching College, Yenching College (燕京書院) in short is a co-education secondary school in Nga Ying Chau of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The school is managed by The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China. The secondary school was founded by alumni and teaching staff from Yenching University in Peking after the campus and some alumni was forced to incorporate in Peking University by Mao Zedong's Communist Party of China in 1952. The founders hoped that the school would restore to the university someday.In 1977, they reused an old building of South Sok Uk Government Primary School (南蘇屋官立小學) and established a secondary school in So Uk Estate. They named it Yenching College. In September 2000, it was moved to current premises in Nga Ying Chau, adjacent to Villa Esplanada. The old campus was passed to Vocational Training Council School of Business and Information Systems (職業訓練局工商資訊學院), namely nowadays Vocational Training Council Youth College (職業訓練局青年學院).

Nga Ying Chau, or Cap Island, was an island off the northeast shore of Tsing Yi Island of Hong Kong, separated by a small harbour, Mun Tsai Tong, with Tsuen Wan at its northeast, just across the Rambler Channel. When the small harbour was reclaimed for the development of a new town, the island became part of Tsing Yi Island. The island was once home to the CRC Oil Storage Depot, which later relocated to the other side of Tsing Yi Island owing to its proximity to the residential area. The former island is now a small hill on the northeast point of Tsing Yi Island, and Villa Esplanada, a private housing estate, stands on the hills. There is also a park called Nga Ying Chau Garden in the vicinity of the former island.

Rambler Channel is a body of water in Hong Kong that separates Tsing Yi Island from Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung in the New Territories. The channel separates the two landmasses by 900 metres at its widest point. Historically, the channel was known as Tsing Yi Mun (青衣門) and Tsing Yi Channel (青衣海峽). The shoreline of the channel has changed rapidly in the last several decades, owing to the development of Tsuen Wan New Town and the Kwai Chung Container Port. Before extensive reclamation, Gin Drinkers Bay was located along the eastern shore of the channel, and Tsing Yi Bay was located along the western shore. Three islands (Nga Ying Chau, Pillar Island and Mong Chau) once stood in the channel as well.

Tsing Yi Fishermen Village (Chinese: 青衣漁民村) and St. Paul's Village (聖保祿村) are two adjacent villages on Tsing Yi island, in Kwai Tsing District, Hong Kong.

Fung Shue Wo (Chinese: 楓樹窩) is a basin in north Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The old villages in the basin have now been replaced by resited villages from the basin and nearby, including Tsing Yi Hui, Tsing Yu New Village and Fung Shue Wo Tsuen.

Tsing Yi is an interchange station on the Tung Chung line of MTR and Airport Express on Tsing Yi Island in Hong Kong. On the Tung Chung line, it is located between Sunny Bay station and Lai King station. On the Airport Express, it is between Airport station and Kowloon station. The livery of the station is dull teal. Tsing Yi station is connected to a major interchange for buses and maxicabs, situated adjacent to the station, which serves as a hub for the New Territories. It is physically located in the same building as the Maritime Square shopping centre.

Caritas St. Joseph Secondary School (Chinese: 明愛聖約瑟中學) is vocational training secondary school in Tsing Yi Estate, Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It was formerly, Caritas St. Joseph Prevocational School (明愛聖若瑟職業先修學校), a prevocational school established in Tsuen Wan by Caritas Hong Kong in 1971 and moved to the island in 1989. It was changed to its current name when the curriculum changed in 2001.

Tsing Yi Bay was a bay on the east side of Hong Kong's Tsing Yi Island, beside the Rambler Channel, approximately on the site of modern-day Tsing Yi Park. The whole bay was reclaimed for the development of new town. Before reclamation, it was surrounded by places known as Tsing Leng Tsui, Sheung Ko Tan (上高灘), Ha Chung Mei, Tai Wong Ha (大王下) and Tsing Yi Town. The names of these places have since changed, and can now be translated, approximately, as Grand Horizon, Green Field Garden, Fung Shue Wo Road, Tsing Yi Estate and Tsing Yi Garden.

Tsing Yi Swimming Pool (Chinese: 青衣游泳池) is a public swimming pool on Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is near the east shore of the island, between Maritime Square and Tsing Yi Sports Ground. Currently, it is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong Government.

Tsing Yi Estate (Chinese: 青衣邨) is a public housing estate in Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong near Fung Shue Wo Sports Centre and Tsing Yi Park. It is the only public housing estate on Tsing Yi Island which name does not start with the character Cheung (長). This is due to the fact that the estate was named in the memory of Tsing Yi Town (青衣墟), a traditional market town which was demolished in the 1980s to make way for new town developments. Since the estate was situated at the seaside of old Tsing Yi Town, part of it is built on reclaimed land. The estate consists of four residential blocks completed in 1986 and 1989 respectively.
