Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (Bengali: আহ্ছানউল্লা বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়), commonly known as AUST, is a private (Engineering) University in Bangladesh. It was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-profit voluntary organization in Bangladesh. The Mission was established in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah.

Begunbari is a slum mahallah (neighborhood) in Ward 37 of Tejgaon Thana, Dhaka, Bangladesh. According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, it had 9,034 households and a population of 34,517.

Tejgaon Industrial Area Thana is a Thana of Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh that was formed in 2006.

Junk Yard Family 2004 cast iron & chain sculpture created by Mrinal Haque. The sculpture stands on the pier at the entrance to a gas station in Tejgaon since 2004. The sculpture was officially inaugurated on the first week of 2005. It is a private sculpture, Haque made for Southern Automobile gas station.

Bangladesh University of Textiles, commonly referred to as BUTEX (Bengali: বুটেক্স), is an specialized engineering based public university in Bangladesh. It is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Dhaka. The institution emphasizes on technological education in textile while keeps entrepreneurial industrialization as its primary subject of interest.It has seven affiliated colleges, each of which is textile based institutes of technology. The colleges are centrally regulated by the university while funding is provisioned under a bilateral MoU signed between Ministry of Education, Bangladesh and Department of Textiles, Bangladesh.The university itself offers academic and professional degrees in various fields of textile technology, fashion designing, advanced business and marketing strategies and in several other disciplines on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As of November 2018, it offers graduate program in 10 different specialized areas under its five distinct faculties.

Hatirjheel Thana is a thana in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It was formed in 2018 with the Hatirjheel project and its surrounding areas. The areas under this thana were earlier under the thanas of Ramna, Tejgaon Industrial Area and Rampura . Hatirjheel Thana is a part of Dhaka North City Corporation.

Dhaka Polytechnic Institute (Bengali: ঢাকা পলিটেকনিক ইন্সটিটিউট, also known as DPI) is a government technical institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the largest and the oldest polytechnic academia in modern Bangladesh. The polytechnic is ranked number one on the Bangladesh Polytechnic Ranking 2018.

Shanta Pinnacle (Bengali: শান্তা পিন্যাকেল) is a 152.3 m (500 ft) 40-floor commercial skyscraper in Tejgaon, Dhaka, which is currently under construction. Upon completion, The Pinnacle is set to be the second tallest building in the city, and its first 40-floor building.The tower was approved for construction in September 2018, and is scheduled to be completed by December 2026. The tower is owned by Shanta Holdings Limited. The skyscraper is the first in Dhaka to undergo a wind tunnel test, and has a design by local firm EK Architects. It is designed as a LEED-certified green building, with a double-glazed unitised facade system for energy efficiency and an intelligent Building Management System.

The Moghbazar-Mouchak Flyover is the second largest flyover in Bangladesh. Its foundation stone was laid in 2011. The flyover was partially opened on 30 March 2016. It was fully opened on 26 October 2017.

Nakhal Para Hossain Ali High School (Bengali: নাখালপাড়া হোসেন আলী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a private secondary school in Tejgaon, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The school offers education for students froplaygroupup to SSC (10).

Mohakhali Bus Terminal is one of three main inter-city bus stations in Dhaka (local name tangail bus stand), opened in 1984. Located in the Mohakhali neighbourhood, it primarily serves destinations in northern Bangladesh, including Tangail, Netrokona, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Kishoreganj, and Bogra.Renovations to the terminal were completed in 2005. The 15 crore taka ($2.3M) rehabilitation was part of the Dhaka Urban Transport Project, funded by a World Bank loan.The 36,400-square-metre (9.0-acre) site can accommodate 300 buses. As of 2015, companies operate 800 daily trips from the terminal, on 60 different routes.
