Monocacy River bridge and viaduct

The Tuscarora Creek bridge is a 63.5-foot (19.4 m) single-span, steel, through-girder bridge with a floor beam/stringer system supporting a 12-inch-thick concrete slab south of Walkersville, Maryland. Originally constructed by the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company (F&PL) in 1872. It was later rebuilt by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1907 as a thru girder concrete deck bridge using an older bridge from the Northern Central Railway. In 1915, the bridge was surveyed as part of the Interstate Commerce Commission's effort to establish freight rates for the Parent railroad. As of 2021, the bridge is in active rail service, operated by the Walkersville Southern RR.

Spring Bank Farm is a large house, built in 1880 near Frederick, Maryland in the small community of Harmony Grove. The house combines Gothic Revival and Italianate architecture. The house retains much of its historic detailing and interior fabric, as well as a number of outbuildings.The Spring Bank Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Biggs Ford Site is an archaeological site near Frederick in Frederick County, Maryland. It is one of the few known, large late prehistoric Native American village sites near the Monocacy River. The site dates from the Middle to Late Woodland period.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Tuscarora Creek is a 7.7-mile-long (12.4 km) tributary of the Monocacy River in Frederick County, Maryland, in the United States. The creek rises at the eastern base of Catoctin Mountain, about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) north-northwest of the city of Frederick, and flows southeast about to its mouth at the Monocacy. The creek's watershed area is 15.28 square miles (39.6 km2).

Tuscarora Creek is a 49.2-mile-long (79.2 km) tributary of the Juniata River in central Pennsylvania in the United States. It rises in eastern Huntingdon County, east of the borough of Shade Gap, and flows northeast between Tuscarora Mountain and Shade Mountain, reaching the Juniata River at Port Royal in Juniata County. It is traversed by the Academia Pomeroy Covered Bridge, which at 278 feet (85 m) portal to portal is the longest remaining covered bridge in Pennsylvania. The bridge spans Tuscarora Creek between Spruce Hill and Beale townships. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been owned by the Juniata County Historical Society since 1962.

The Nallin Farm House and the related Nallin Farm Springhouse and Bank Barn are located on Fort Detrick at Frederick, Maryland. The Federal style brick farmhouse was built in stages between the 1780s and the 1830s and formerly served as the residence of the Fort Detrick commanding officer. It is known on post as "Building 1652".The Nallin Farm was incorporated into Fort Detrick upon the post's expansion in 1955. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 23, 1974.

The Nallin Farm Springhouse and Bank Barn are closely associated with the Nallin Farm House on the grounds of Fort Detrick, Maryland, US. The barn is a good example of a fieldstone-built bank barn with a byre on the lower level and an earth ramp on the opposite side providing access to a haymow.The simple stone springhouse is the source of 3+1⁄2-acre Nallin Pond. The barn and springhouse were built c. 1800. The Nallin Farm Springhouse and Bank Barn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.The barn has a hay hood, as can be seen in the 14th of 17 photos included in the nomination.

The Woodsboro and Frederick Turnpike Company Tollhouse is a historic toll house located at Walkersville, Frederick County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story brick structure over a stone foundation, with a small interior end chimney at each gable end. It was used as a tollhouse by the Woodsboro and Frederick Turnpike Company.The Woodsboro and Frederick Turnpike Company Tollhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
