St Columba's Catholic Boys' School

St Catherine's Catholic School for Girls is a Roman Catholic girls' secondary school located in the Bexleyheath area of the London Borough of Bexley, England. The school was established by La Sainte Union (Holy Union) sisters in 1953 as a convent school. It was converted to with academy status in February 2012, and was previously under the direct control of Bexley London Borough Council. The school continues to coordinate with the London borough of Bexely for admissions. St Catherine's Catholic School for Girls offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils. Pupils also have the option to study equivalent vocational courses in certain subjects.

The Bexley Civic Offices is a municipal facility in Watling Street, Bexleyheath, London. It is the headquarters of the Bexley London Borough Council.

Hall Place is a stately home in the London Borough of Bexley in south-east London, built in 1537 for Sir John Champneys, a wealthy merchant and former Lord Mayor of London. The house was extended in 1649 by Sir Robert Austen, a merchant from Tenterden in Kent. The house is a Grade I listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, and surrounded by a 65-hectare award-winning garden. It is situated on the A223, Bourne Road, south of Watling Street (A207) and north of the Black Prince interchange of the A2 dual carriageway and two lesser roads.

The Black Prince is a hotel in the London Borough of Bexley, contained in a landscaped part of the intersection of the A2 dual carriageway. The intersection is for Bexley and much of Bexleyheath. At first it was a public house with function rooms. Its name draws on the local history of Edward, the Black Prince of the fourteenth century and his wife Joan of Kent. It has a secondary, larger, hotel-only wing. The hotel is owned and operated by Holiday Inn, has a restaurant, bar, outdoor seating, meeting rooms and a guests' gym.

The River Shuttle is a small tributary of the River Cray in London, United Kingdom. The river rises at two or more springs between Avery Hill and Eltham in the Royal Borough of Greenwich at the junction of the permeable Blackheath Beds and the denser Woolwich Beds. It flows east through the parkland of Avery Hill, then crosses into the London Borough of Bexley and continues through Parish Wood Park and Hollyoak Wood Park, Willersley Park, Marlborough Park and Sidcup Golf Course, where it feeds a lake in the grounds of Lamorbey Mansion (c. 1750) a house now within the Rose Bruford College campus. Continuing east, it flows through Bexley Woods and then follows the south side of the major A2 London-to-Dover road and through the grounds of Beths Grammar School until it flows into the River Cray just south of Hall Place. A walk called the Shuttle Riverway follows the river for its entire length of five miles (about 8 km). This was created following a persistent campaign by Donald Stringer of Brookdale Road. The walk follows the river where possible but also uses woods, parks, alleyways and some linking roads. A tributary, the Wyncham Stream, flows into the Shuttle in Hollyoak Wood Park. Its route from the Sports Grounds on the A20 to Holly Oak Park, takes it past Dulverton Primary School, under the Dartford to London via Sidcup railway line, the Old Farm Avenue allotments and under Halfway Street.

Bexley was a local government district in north west Kent from 1879 to 1965 around the town of Old Bexley.

Beths Grammar School, commonly known as Beths, is an all-boys grammar school with academy status in Bexley in south-east London. Pupils are admitted from the age of 11, with girls joining the sixth form in Year 12. It became a grammar school in 1976 and has performed above average within the borough; in 2006 being fourth of the ten larger schools ranked by A*-C grades at GCSE.

Bexley Football Club is a football club based in Bexley, London, England. They are currently members of the Kent County League Division One West.

Bexleyheath and Crayford is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by David Evennett, a Conservative.It was created in 1997 from parts of the former seats of Bexleyheath and Erith & Crayford.

Broadway Shopping Centre, (branded as The Mall Bexleyheath from c. 2004 until reverting to its original name in 2009), is the principal covered shopping centre in the town centre of Bexleyheath and is the largest single covered shopping facility in the London Borough of Bexley. Whilst some parts of the centre opened in 1981, Woolworths being the first on 23 November, the centre was opened in its current form by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on the thirteenth of March 1984 and underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2007. It had been due to form part of a wider regeneration of the surrounding area of Bexleyheath over the coming years, which would have seen additional retail amenity, Bexley Council offices, a library and residential development adjacent to the existing building. However, in 2010, following the sale of the centre, its new owners confirmed the major expansion plan would not be going ahead, though a small extension to the existing site remains a possibility.There are 59 retail shop units considered to be within the Mall building (including several premises where public access is from the Broadway itself) and additional smaller retailers in 'RMUs' (small, freestanding kiosk-like units).In the early years of the centre's existence, the site was known as the Broadway Shopping Centre; its owners included Norwich Union. In the early 21st century the building was acquired by the Mall Fund, becoming one of their network of centres under the generic "The Mall" branding. The Mall Fund subsequently purchased the neighbouring Broadway Square, and ran it alongside The Mall. In 2009, The Mall Fund's parent company Capital & Regional agreed a deal to sell the centre to Jones Lang LaSalle. As a result of its departure from the network, use of the Mall corporate material declined, though some elements (such as signage and branding) remained under The Mall identity, being replaced over a period of time. Other centres which have been sold off by The Mall Fund (such as The Ashley Centre) have reverted to their former names following their sale. Some marketing materials for the centre, as of Spring 2010, began to appear bearing the names 'Broadway' or 'Broadway Shopping Centre' in plain text. In September 2010, new signage bearing the name "Broadway Shopping Centre Bexleyheath", with the centre's new red-and-white logo, began replacing the Mall-branded elements. The full rebranding of the centre was timed to coincide with the opening of major new H&M and New Look stores on the former Woolworths site. Following the sale of the centre, it was removed from The Mall's corporate website; initially, it did not have a dedicated website of its own as a replacement. However, JLL subsequently established one at broadwayshoppingcentre.com - with signs promoting this URL appearing in the centre from September 2010. In April 2016, Jones Lang LaSalle concluded the sale of the Bexleyheath complex to NewRiver Retail.

The King's Head is a pub at 65 Bexley High Street, Bexley, London. It is a Grade II listed building, dating back to the 16th or early 17th century.

The Central Library is the main library for the London Borough of Bexley, now located on Townley Road in Bexleyheath. It also houses the borough's Local Studies and Archive Centre.The first Bexleyheath Central Library was opened in 1934, on Bexleyheath Broadway, it was known as "the wooden hut" and is now a cocktail bar.The building that now houses the library was first opened in 1980 with the final phase of its development in 1989. It has since had more redevelopments and refurbishments, the most recent in 2005 when the library had a new entrance built.
