Ujazdów Park

The statue of Ignacy Jan Paderewski (Polish: Pomnik Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego) is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, located in the Ujazdów Park, near the corner of Róż and Ujazdów Avenues. It is dedicated to Ignacy Jan Paderewski, a 20th-century pianist, composer and statesman who was a spokesman for the Polish independence. Made in 1939, it was designed by Michał Kamieński. It was hidden during the Second World War, and in 1977, it was placed in the courtyard of the Warsaw National Museum. In 1978, it was moved to Okólnik Street, next to the Ostrogski Palace, and again in 1985 to its current location.

Ujazdów Avenue (Polish: Aleje Ujazdowskie) is a major thoroughfare parallel to the Vistula River in the downtown district of Warsaw, Poland.

The Eye of the Sea (Polish: Morskie Oko) is an artificial pond in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Mokotów in the Eye of the Sea Park.

The Church of the Archangel Michael in Warsaw (Polish: Cerkiew św. Michała Archanioła w Warszawie; Russian: Церковь Михаила Архангела) was an Orthodox church in Warsaw, located on Ujazdowskie Avenue (aleje Ujazdowskie), in the area of the current Plac na Rozdrożu (Crossroads Square). It was one of the military churches built for the needs of the Russian troops stationed in Warsaw, in particular the Lithuanian Regiment. Built in the 1890s, it was destroyed in 1923, during the recovery of churches recognized as symbols of Russian power during the Second Polish Republic.

The Monument to the Polish Underground State and Home Army is located on Wiejska Street at the intersection with Jana Matejki Street opposite the Sejm, the Polish parliament.

Sobański Palace (Polish: Pałac Sobiańskich w Warszawie) - a historical building, located by Ujazdów Avenue in Warsaw, Poland.The building was constructed in 1876, under Polish architect Leandro Marconi's plans. In the nineteenth-thirtees, the palace's gardens were sold for the construction of a new road - the Avenue of Friends (Aleja Przyjaciół). During the Polish People's Republic, the building housed the headquarters for the Front of National Unity, proceeded by the Patriotic Movement for National Rebirth. In the 1990s, the building served as the centre for the Solidarity Citizens' Committee, later for the Institute of Lech Wałęsa. In 1996, the building was purchased by Jan Wejchert, Polish billionaire media mogul and founder of TVN Group. Presently, the palace houses the Polish Business Council (Polska Rada Biznesu) and a restaurant.

The Stefan Rowecki "Grot" Monument (Polish: Pomnik Stefana Roweckiego „Grota”) is a minimalist granite sculpture in Warsaw, Poland, placed at the corner of Ujazdów Avenue and Chopina Street, within the South Downtown neighbourhood. It is dedicated to Stefan Rowecki, the commander-in-chief of the Home Army during the Second World War. The monument was made by Zbigniew Mikielewicz and unveiled on 11 June 2005.

The Crossroads Square (Polish: Plac Na Rozdrożu) is an urban square in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the district of Downtown, at the crossing of Koszykowa Street, Szucha Avenue, People's Army Avenue, Ujazdów Avenue, and Wyzwolenia Avenue. It was built in 1768.

The Henryk Sławik and József Antall Monument (Polish: Pomnik Henryka Sławika i Józsefa Antalla) is a memorial sculpture in Warsaw, Poland, within the South Downtown neighbourhood. Placed in the Swiss Valley Park, at the corner of Chopina and Sieroszewskiego Streets, it is dedicated to Polish and Hungarian politicians Henryk Sławik and József Antall, whom, during the Second World War, helped save over 30,000 Polish refugees, including 5,000 Polish Jews in Budapest, Hungary, by giving them false Polish passports with Catholic designation. They are depicted in form of two bronze statues sitting at a table while in the middle of a conversation. The monument was designed by Władysław Dudek and unveiled on 8 November 2016.

Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW, Polish: Ośrodek Studiów Wschodnich) is a Warsaw-based think tank that undertakes independent research on the political, economic and social situation in Central and Eastern Europe, Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia. The Centre was founded in 1990 and is fully financed from the Polish state budget. In 2006 the Centre was named in honour of its founder Marek Karp. The OSW is the largest of the European Union’s think tanks to focus its research on the part of Europe which until 1989 had been separated from the West by the Iron Curtain. The Centre is particularly active in debates concerning the European Union's policy towards its Eastern neighbours (European Neighbourhood Policy, Eastern Partnership), challenges to energy security in Europe, as well as the political, social and economic transformation of countries neighbouring Poland.

The Embassy of Canada to Poland (French: Ambassade du Canada en Pologne; Polish: Ambasada Kanady w Polsce) in Warsaw is the diplomatic mission of Canada to Poland. The Embassy also covers the country of Belarus as part of its mandate. The Embassy is located at ulica Jana Matejki 1/5 in Warsaw, down the street from the Polish Sejm.

Wilhelm Ellis Rau Palace (Polish: Pałacyk Wilhelma Ellisa Raua) - a historical building, located by Ujazdów Avenue in Warsaw, Poland.The palace was built between 1866 and 1868 under architect Leandro Marconi's designs. In the nineteen-twenties of the Polish interwar period the palace was rented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving the function of vice-minister Jan Szembek's residence. The villa burned down in 1944. After World War II, the building was rebuilt between 1948 and 1949, under Polish and Swiss architects, Szymon Syrkus and Hans Schmidt respectably.The palaces houses the Embassy of Switzerland and the Swiss promotional non-profit organisation for Swiss exports, Osec. Next to the building is the location of the Embassy of the United States of America.
