The National Electoral Commission (Polish: Państwowa Komisja Wyborcza, PKW) is the only permanent election commission in Poland. The second permanent electoral organs are komisarze wyborczy (single komisarz wyborczy, election commissioner), which number is 51. The PKW has 9 members, which are the judges of the Supreme Court of Poland (3), the Constitutional Tribunal (3) and the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland (3). Members of PKW are nominated by the heads of courts and are appointed by the President. There is no cadency of PKW - membership in Commission expires at 70. The head of court which the member of PKW is nominated for, can recall him on a requested reason. The PKW is the supreme electoral commission in Poland. It has one chairman and two vice chairmen. PKW organises all elections in Poland: election of the President of the Republic of Poland; elections to Sejm and Senat (lower and upper houses of the Parliament); local elections (to gminas/city/powiats councils, for wójt/burmistrz (mayor) and president of the city and sejmiki wojewódzkie (voivodeships councils; sejmik literally means small Sejm)); elections to the European Parliament in Poland; national and local referendumsThe PKW appoints Okręgowe Komisje Wyborcze (OKW) (District Electoral Commissions) in elections of President, Sejm and Senat and European Parliament elections. In contrast to PKW, OKW are temporary. In local elections the terytorialne komisje wyborcze (territorial electoral commissions) are created by the komisarz wyborczy. Each territorial electoral commission conducts elections to appropriate organs: wojewódzka komisja wyborcza (voivodeship electoral commission) conduct elections to the sejmik województwa; powiatowa komisja wyborcza (powiat electoral commission) conducts elections to the rada powiatu (powiat council); gminna komisja wyborcza (commune electoral commission) conducts elections to the rada gminy (commune council) and wójt (mayor of the rural commune); miejska komisja wyborcza (city electoral commission) conducts elections to the rada miasta (city council) and burmistrz/prezydent miasta.All territorial electoral commission are also temporary, in contrast to the elections commissioners.

The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland (Polish: Kancelaria Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej), instituted in 1989, is a governmental institution composed of the immediate staff of the President of Poland that assists and is governed by the President. The objective of the Chancellery is to provide assistance to the President in its multiple echelons of staff, which include the Presidential cabinet and the Chancellery of National Security. The Chief of the Chancellery (Szef Kancelarii) heads the institution; the Chief is appointed by and immediately responsible to the President.

The Eye of the Sea (Polish: Morskie Oko) is an artificial pond in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Mokotów in the Eye of the Sea Park.

The Ronald Reagan Monument was erected to honor the 40th President of the United States and his role in supporting the Polish anti-communist labour union Solidarity. The monument faces the U.S. Embassy building at Ujazdów Avenue (Aleje Ujazdowskie) in the Śródmieście district of Warsaw, Poland. The monument was unveiled on November 21, 2011, by Lech Wałęsa.

The Sejm (English: Seym, Polish: [sɛjm] (listen)), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish: Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej), is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of Poland. The Sejm has been the highest governing body of the Third Polish Republic since the transition of government in 1989. Along with the upper house of parliament, the Senate, it forms the national legislature in Poland. The Sejm is composed of 460 deputies (singular deputowany or poseł – "envoy") elected every four years by a universal ballot. The Sejm is presided over by a speaker called the "Marshal of the Sejm" (Marszałek Sejmu). In the Kingdom of Poland, the term "Sejm" referred to an entire two-chamber parliament, comprising the Chamber of Deputies (Polish: Izba Poselska), the Senate and the King. It was thus a three-estate parliament. The 1573 Henrician Articles strengthened the assembly's jurisdiction, making Poland a constitutional elective monarchy. Since the Second Polish Republic (1918–1939), "Sejm" has referred only to the larger house of the parliament.

Sejm and Senate Complex (Polish: Kompleks budynków Sejmu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) are a complex of buildings located in central Warsaw, which house the bicameral Polish parliament – the Sejm and Senate of Poland. The construction of the complex began after Poland regained its independence in 1918. The expansion of the complex continues to the modern-day, with a new building under construction since 2014. All of the buildings part of the complex are managed by the Chancellery of Sejm.

The United States Embassy in Poland is situated on Ujazdów Avenue in Warsaw, Poland. During World War II, the United States kept relations with the Polish government-in-exile. The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw was reestablished on July 5, 1945, the same day on which the embassy in London was closed. Ambassador Arthur Bliss Lane was in charge of the embassy pending his presentation of credentials.The United States also maintains a consulate in Kraków.

Ujazdów Park (Polish: Park Ujazdowski) is one of the most picturesque parks of Warsaw, Poland. It borders Aleje Ujazdowskie (Ujazdów Avenue), with its many embassies and Sejm building.

The Francesco Nullo Monument is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, in the Downtown district and Frascati neighbourhood. Situated at Home Army Miłosz Battalion Square, near the corner of Frascati and Nulla Streets, it comprises a bust of Francesco Nullo – a 19th-century military officer who fought in the conflicts of the Italian unification and commanded the Garibaldi Legion of Italian volunteers, fighting on the side of Polish insurgents during the January Uprising. The monument was designed by Gianni Remuzzi, and unveiled on 26 February 1939.

Wilhelm Ellis Rau Palace (Polish: Pałacyk Wilhelma Ellisa Raua) - a historical building, located by Ujazdów Avenue in Warsaw, Poland.The palace was built between 1866 and 1868 under architect Leandro Marconi's designs. In the nineteen-twenties of the Polish interwar period the palace was rented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving the function of vice-minister Jan Szembek's residence. The villa burned down in 1944. After World War II, the building was rebuilt between 1948 and 1949, under Polish and Swiss architects, Szymon Syrkus and Hans Schmidt respectably.The palaces houses the Embassy of Switzerland and the Swiss promotional non-profit organisation for Swiss exports, Osec. Next to the building is the location of the Embassy of the United States of America.

The Museum of Scouting (Polish: Muzeum Harcerstwa) is a museum in Warsaw, Poland, dedicated to the scout movement in Poland. Established in 2001, it contains displays relating to the history of Polish scouts and scouting. The goals of the museum are to collect and house items related to the history of Polish scouting and Scouting; disseminate information about the collections; evangelize the values of scouting and the educational principles of Scouting; and shape the values of those who come in contact with the collections.

Ujazdów Avenue (Polish: Aleje Ujazdowskie) is a major thoroughfare parallel to the Vistula River in the downtown district of Warsaw, Poland.
