Bangalore Urban district, is the most populous district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is surrounded by the Bangalore Rural district on the east and north, the Ramanagara district on the west and the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu on the south. Bangalore Urban district came into being in 1986, with the partition of the erstwhile Bangalore district into Bangalore Urban and Bangalore Rural districts. Bangalore Urban has five taluks: Hebbala (Bangalore North), Kengeri (Bangalore South), Krishnarajapura (Bangalore East), Yelahanka (Bangalore North Additional) and Anekal. The city of Bangalore is situated in the Bangalore Urban district and is the headquarters of the district. The district has 2 divisions, 5 talukas, 17 hoblies, 872 villages, 11 rural habitations, 5 towns, 1 tier-three city and 1 tier-one city, administered by 96 Village Panchayats (Grama Panchayitis) 97 Taluk Panchayats (Taluk Panchayitis), 5 Town Municipal Councils (Purasabes), 1 City Municipal Council (Nagarasabe) and 1 City Corporation (Mahanagara Palike).The district had a population of 6,537,124 of which 88.11% is urban as of 2001. As of Census 2011, its population has increased to 9,621,551, with a sex-ratio of 908 females/males, the lowest in the state and its density is 4,378 people per square km.

Binnypet was one of the 224 constituencies in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly of Karnataka a south state of India. It was a part of Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency.

Magadi Road is a Namma Metro station on the Purple Line serving the Magadi Road, Bangalore. The station was constructed by Punj Lloyd and was opened to the public on 16 November 2015.The parking lot at the Magadi Road metro station can accommodate around 200 motorcycles and 50 cars.

K. R. Pura or Krishnarajapuram is a Assembly constituency in the Greater Bangalore region and has the largest number of voters among the 21 constituencies. It comes under Bangalore North Lok Sabha. Carved out from the erstwhile Varthur constituency, and a few parts of Hosakote constituency, it has predominantly urban characteristics.

Bangalore division is one of the four divisions of the Indian state Karnataka. The division comprises the districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolar, Ramanagara, Shimoga, and Tumakuru.The total area of the division is 49,936 sq.km. The total population as of 2011 census is 22,523,301, making it the world's fifth most populous sub-division.

City Railway Station or Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna is an underground metro station on the Purple Line of the Namma Metro serving Subhash Nagar, Sevashrama, Bangalore. It was opened to the public on 30 April 2016.A foot overbridge connecting the metro station with platform 10 of the Bangalore City railway station was opened on 18 February 2019. The BMRC reported that monthly ridership at the metro station was 175,000 passengers per day prior to opening the bridge, and increased to 250,000 two months after its opening.

Rajajinagar, officially Rajajinagara is a residential neighborhood and business hub in the west of Bangalore. It is one of the zones of BBMP. It is bordered by Basaveshwaranagara, Malleshwara, Mahalakshmipura alias West of Chord road 2nd stage, Mahalakshmi Layout, Vijayanagara and Rajajinagara Industrial Suburb. It serves as a centre place to all in Bengaluru.Inaugurated by Maharaja's of Mysuru Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, Rajajinagara Pillar on 03/07/1949. 70th birthday to C Rajagopalachari. Named after statesman C. Rajagopalachari, a plaque in the Rajajinagara pillar indicates that 1,000 acres of land given for the locality was divided into industrial and housing areas. The former consisted of 140 acres for textiles, 220 acres for machinery, 100 acres for chemical plants and 40 acres for the food sector. About 4,000 housing plots were created in the remaining 500 acres. Rajajinagara was built at an estimated cost of Rs 50 lakh.

Chamrajpet Assembly constituency is one of the seats in Karnataka Legislative Assembly in India. It is part of Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat.
