Kings Mountain Mine

Margrace Mill Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It encompasses 57 contributing buildings in a residential section of Kings Mountain. The houses date between about 1919 and 1956, and characterized by one-story frame mill houses. All of the principal resources in the district were erected by the Neisler family textile company and housed employees of the nearby Margrace and Patricia mills. Notable nonresidential buildings are the Margrace Mill Clubhouse (c. 1933) and Margrace Mill Company Store.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The houses date between about 1882 and 1955, and include representative examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman architectural styles.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Kings Mountain Historical Museum is a local history museum at 100 East Mountain in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. It is located in the former United States Post Office building, a handsome Colonial Revival structure built in 1940 with funding from a Depression-era works program. The building was used as a post office until 1986. The city acquired the building in 2000, and leased it to the local historical society, which has used it as a museum since.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

King Street Overhead Bridge is a historic overhead bridge located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1938–1939, and is a reinforced concrete Moderne-style rigid-frame vehicular bridge. It measures about 48 feet long and 49 feet wide and carries West King Street over the Norfolk Southern Railway railroad tracks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Southern Railway Company Overhead Bridge, also known as North Carolina Bridge #220426, is a historic overhead bridge located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1919, and is a reinforced concrete tee-beam vehicular bridge. It measures about 80 feet long and 18 feet, 7+1⁄2 inches, wide and goes over the Norfolk Southern Railway railroad tracks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Jacob S. Mauney Memorial Library and Teacher's Home, also known as the Mauney Memorial Library and Dr. Jacob George Van Buren Hord House, is a historic home and library located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1923 as a private dwelling and donated to the city of Kings Mountain in 1947. From 1947 to about 1962–1963, the building also functioned as a teacherage for the Kings Mountain school system. It is a two-story, five-bay, yellow-brick Southern Colonial Revival-style house. The front facade features a two-story, pedimented tetrastyle portico with stucco-finished masonry columns. It has a one-story rear block added in 1987–1988 and the Harris Children's Wing, a two-level addition of 1999–2000.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Central School Historic District is a national historic district located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It encompasses 52 contributing buildings and 4 contributing structures in a residential section of Kings Mountain. The houses date between about 1870 and 1950, and include representative examples of the Second Empire and Queen Anne architectural styles. Notable nonresidential buildings are the Second Southern Railway Depot (1925), St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (1921, 1950), First Presbyterian Church (1936), and Central·High School (1933).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Kings Mountain High School is a public high school in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, United States. It is part of the Cleveland County School System which is overseen by the Cleveland County Board of Education, and it is one of the county's five public high schools. Kings Mountain, North Carolina is considered part of the Shelby, North Carolina metro area.

Catawba Two Kings Casino is a tribal casino in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, approximately 35 miles west of Charlotte, North Carolina, overlooking Interstate 85. The casino is owned by the Catawba Indian Nation and managed by Delaware North. There is currently a temporary modular "pre-launch" casino that has 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games available until the final casino resort is built. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024 and be completed in two to three years. The finished casino is expected to have 3,000 slot machines and 120 table games while also including a 400 hotel room tower.

The Pinnacle, is one of the two main peaks located within Crowders Mountain State Park. The other peak is Crowders Mountain. The park is located in the western Piedmont of North Carolina between the cities of Kings Mountain and Gastonia.
