Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal (Thai: สถานีกลางกรุงเทพอภิวัฒน์, RTGS: Sathani Klang Krung Thep Aphiwat, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː klāːŋ krūŋ tʰêːp ʔà(ʔ).pʰí(ʔ).wát]), also known by its former name Bang Sue Grand Station (Thai: สถานีกลางบางซื่อ, RTGS: Sathani Klang Bang Sue, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː klāːŋ bāːŋ sɯ̂ː]; lit. 'Bang Sue central station'), is the central passenger terminal in Bangkok and the current railway hub of Thailand. It replaced the existing Hua Lamphong railway station as the city's central railway station, with long-distance rail services operating from here from 19 January 2023. The station was opened on 2 August 2021 as part of the operation of the SRT Red Lines, and from May 2021 to September 2022 served as a COVID-19 vaccination center. It is linked to the Bang Sue MRT station via an underground walkway. It is the largest railway station in Southeast Asia, with 26 platforms—some 600 metres long. The station will offer 274,192 m2 of usable floor space. The 15 billion baht station is built on 2,325 rai (372 ha; 919 acres) of SRT-owned land and will have maintenance depots for both diesel and electric trains. An elevated walkway connects the station to the new Mo Chit Bus Terminal.Currently, long-distance intercity trains terminate at this station, while ordinary and commuter trains calling at all stations continue onwards to Hua Lamphong and still operate at the old Bang Sue Junction railway station.

Pracha Chuen Road (Thai: ถนนประชาชื่น, RTGS: Thanon Pracha Chuen, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn prā.t͡ɕʰāː t͡ɕʰɯ̂ːn]) is a road in Bangkok and its neighbouring Nonthaburi. It is also the name of the surrounding its location. Pracha Chuen is a road that runs along Khlong Prapa (water supply canal) west side for all its length. It separates itself from Pracharat Sai 2 Road near Tao Pun area in the Bang Sue side on the border of Chatuchak. Then it heads northward, intersecting with various roads up until terminating at Si Saman Road (which leads to Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defence) in the area of Pak Kret district, Nonthaburi.Pracha Chuen is a road connects two main thoroughfares, Chaeng Watthana (Highway 304) and Ratchadaphisek (Inner Ring Road). It is connected to the Si Rat Expressway. It is also the location of many residences and important places as well as utilities nearby were Tesco Lotus Pracha Chuen, Bang Sue District Office, Pracha Chuen Metropolitan Waterwork Authority, Kasemrad Prachachuen Hospital, Bang Son railway station and Bang Son MRT station (PP15), Wat Samian Nari temple, Bon Marché Market Park, Matichon Headquarters, Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), including recommended restaurants by Michelin Guide.The road is also served pocket parks in roadside park form. One of them at the end of 2019 was used a venue for the launch of Rosana Tositrakul, an independent candidate for the Bangkok governor's election in 2022.The popular night bazaar, JJ Green 2 moved from its original location on Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road near Chatuchak and Vachirabenjatas Parks to here in 2020 due to the expiration of the land lease agreement two years earlier.Pracha Chuen area was once home to Technology Prachachuen School, a vocational institution that was established in 1980, upgraded from a kindergarten. It has now changed its status to a commercial school in the name of Varatip Business Technology College (V-Tech) since 2002.

Bang Sue (Thai: บางซื่อ, pronounced [bāːŋ sɯ̂ː]) is one of the 50 districts (khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. It borders Chatuchak to the east, Phaya Thai to the southeast, Dusit to the south, Bang Phlat and Bang Kruai across the Chao Phraya to the west and Mueang Nonthaburi to the north.

On 28 March 2025, an under-construction building intended for the State Audit Office collapsed in Bangkok, Thailand, following a devastating earthquake that occurred in Myanmar. It resulted in 92 confirmed deaths and 9 injuries, while 4 workers remained unaccounted for as of 14 May 2025. Already topped-out, the building was 30% complete and, at the time of collapse, undergoing piping and glass wall installation. The skyscraper was the only building affected by the earthquake in Thailand, and the collapse was one of the deadliest single instances of structural failure in Thailand's history.

Tao Poon station (Thai: สถานีเตาปูน, RTGS: Sathani Tao Pun, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː tāw pūːn]) is a MRT station in Bangkok, located on Tao Pun Junction, Bang Sue District, Bangkok. It is an interchange station of the Blue Line and Purple Line. It is also currently a terminal station for Purple line.

Tao Pun (Thai: เตาปูน, lit. 'cement kiln', also spelled Tao Poon) is a neighbourhood in Bangkok's Bang Sue district. It is so named after the country's first cement factory, established in 1913 by the Siam Cement Company, whose corporate headquarters are still located here, adjacent Bang Sue Junction railway station on its west side. Today, the name most specifically refers to the area around Tao Pun Junction, where Krung Thep–Nonthaburi Road meets Pracharat Sai Song Road beneath the elevated Tao Poon MRT station, which connects the Blue Line and Purple Line.

Or Tor Kor Market (Thai: ตลาด อ.ต.ก., RTGS: O To Ko) is a large fresh market in Bangkok, Thailand. Located opposite Chatuchak Weekend Market, Or Tor Kor sells a variety of produce and prepared foods. Opened in 1974, the market is operated by the Marketing Organization for Farmers (Thai: องค์การตลาดเพื่อเกษตรกร), and was listed by CNN as one of the top 10 fresh markets in the world in 2017. The market is especially known for premium fruit products, including durian and mango.

Kamphaeng Phet station (Thai: สถานีกำแพงเพชร, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː kām.pʰɛ̄ːŋ pʰét]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Blue Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is beneath Kamphaeng Phet Road (Thanon), providing a direct access to the Chatuchak Weekend Market and OrTorKor Market. Not to be confused with the town or province of Kamphaeng Phet. It has an underground mall that opened in early 2009. The preceding station is Bang Sue station and next station is Chatuchak Park. The road is named after Purachatra Jayakara, Prince of Kamphaeng Phet (Thai, พระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าบุรฉัตรไชยากร กรมพระกำแพงเพชรอัครโยธิน), the first Thai commander of State Railway of Thailand.

Pradiphat Road (Thai: ถนนประดิพัทธ์, RTGS: Thanon Pradiphat, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn prā.dī.pʰát]) is a road in Bangkok, Thailand, mainly in Phaya Thai sub-district, Phaya Thai district. Pradipat is a straight road approximately 2 km (1.2 mi) long.

Queen Sirikit Park is a botanical garden in Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. Covering an area of 0.22 km2, it is part of the larger Chatuchak Park complex. It was established in 1992 and named after Sirikit, Queen of Thailand to celebrate her 60th birthday. It contains many fountains and pools where lotus flowers bloom. The park has a high biodiversity in an ecosystem which has a great variety of plants and butterflies. There is a great variety of banana cultivars, a great variety of palm tree cultivars, a great variety of hibiscus, a great variety of lotus, more than 200 species of waterlilies, a great variety of new species of plant in the world, a great variety of coconut cultivars, a great variety of bamboo cultivars, and a great variety of rare plants as well as plants endemic to Thailand.

Children's Discovery Museum Bangkok 1, or formerly known as Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์เด็กกรุงเทพมหานคร แห่งที่ 1, พิพิธภัณฑ์เด็กกรุงเทพ) is a museum in Bangkok, Thailand, considered as the first museum and learning centre for children in Thailand and Southeast Asia. It is situated on the southern edge of Queen Sirikit Park, opposite Sunday Market (an ornamental fish Market, part of Chatuchak Weekend Market). It was founded after the initiation of H.M.Queen Sirikit in order for Thai youth to receive a broader learning. Dr.Bhichit Rattakul governor of Bangkok at the time, took action under H.M.instruction, by arranging part of Queen Sirikit Garden (about 2 acres in size) to build the Children's Discovery Museum. The project started in early 2000, and finished in mid-2001, during the time when Samak Sundaravej was the governor of Bangkok. The museum consists of 3 exhibiting buildings, a conference room and service areas indoor and outdoor. The total area is more than 10,000 square metres. It is utilized for activities, learning and recreation. The Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum Foundation in order to provide services and learning with the highest quality and efficiency.
