Newcourt railway station (England)

Newcourt is a suburb of Exeter and Topsham in Devon, England, located between Digby and Topsham. It has a railway station and forms part of the electoral ward of Topsham. Other local amenities include a school and a community centre.

Sandy Park is a rugby union stadium and conference and banqueting centre in Exeter, England. It is the home ground of Exeter Chiefs, who from the 2010–11 season have been playing in Premiership Rugby, the top flight of the English rugby union league system. The club relocated there from their former stadium at the County Ground in 2006. Today Clyst Heath is a suburb to the south east of the city of Exeter, Devon, England. An area of relatively high ground to the west of the River Clyst, it remained heathland until the early nineteenth century when it was cultivated for the first time.Two notable battles took place on the heath, in 1455 and 1549. The 1:25000 Ordnance Survey map shows the conventional symbol for both battles at grid reference SX965912, just north of Sandy Park rugby stadium.

Between 1886 and 1987 it was the location of Exeter Lunatic Asylum, later known as Digby Hospital. Today it is mainly an area of housing, out-of-town retail and light industrial developments on the outskirts of the city, served by Digby and Sowton railway station.

Exeter services is a motorway service station on the M5 motorway in Devon, England. It is situated at junction 30 of the motorway, east of the city of Exeter, and is accessed from both directions of the motorway. The service station opened in 1977 and is owned and operated by Moto Hospitality. It is the southernmost motorway service station in the United Kingdom.

Topsham (, also ) is a town in Devon, England, located on the east side of the River Exe, immediately north of its confluence with the River Clyst and the former's estuary, between Exeter and Exmouth. Topsham is a historic port and was designated a town by a 1300 royal charter granted by Edward I; it was formally amalgamated into the City of Exeter in 1966. The population of the town, recorded at the 2021 census, is 4,146.The town is served by Topsham railway station, about midway on the branch line from Exeter Central to Exmouth, now called the Avocet Line; 2011 saw the 150th anniversary of the railway coming to Topsham.The electoral ward of Topsham extends further northwest and includes the east half of Countess Wear as well as the new suburb of Newcourt. The population of the ward, recorded at the 2021 census, is 10,038.

Topsham railway station is the railway station serving the town of Topsham in the English county of Devon. It is the passing place for the otherwise single-track branch line from Exmouth Junction to Exmouth. Both the loop and adjacent level crossing are remotely worked from the signal box at Exmouth Junction.

Clyst St Mary is a small village and civil parish 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Exeter on the main roads to Exmouth and Sidmouth in East Devon. The name comes from the Celtic word clyst meaning 'clear stream'. The village is a major part of the electoral ward of Clyst Valley. At the 2011 Census this ward population was 2,326.

St Peter's Church of England Aided School is one of Exeter's five state sector high schools. The school was awarded language college status in 2002. The current headteacher of the school is Phil Randall. The old school building was knocked down (September 2006). Since then, a new building managed by Carillion has been in use. Carillion was then taken over by Sodexo in 2015 for a 5-year contract. The school was formed by the amalgamation of Hele's School and Bishop Blackall School in 1983.
