The company is the world's second-largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef, and pork after JBS S.A. It annually exports the largest percentage of beef out of the United States. Together with its subsidiaries, it operates major food brands, including Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Ball Park, Wright Brand, Aidells, and State Fair. Tyson Foods ranked No. 79 in the 2020 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by total revenue.Tyson Foods has been involved in a number of controversies related to the environment, animal welfare, and the welfare of their own employees. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tyson Foods was accused by some employees of failing to implement certain recommended protections, including physical distancing measures, plexiglass barriers and wearing of face masks. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against the company, alleging gross and willful negligence for the spread of COVID-19 at their plants.

Springdale High School is a public high school in Springdale, Arkansas, United States for students in grades ten through twelve. Springdale High School is one of three high schools administered by the Springdale School District, the others being Har-Ber High School and Don Tyson School of Innovation. Springdale High's zone, as of 2006, includes sections of Springdale (including most of the former municipality of Bethel Heights), and portions of Fayetteville and Goshen.

Springdale is the 4th most populous city in Arkansas, United States. It is located in both Washington and Benton counties in Northwest Arkansas. Located on the Springfield Plateau deep in the Ozark Mountains, Springdale has long been an important industrial city for the region. In addition to several trucking companies, the city is home to the world headquarters of Tyson Foods, the world's largest meat producing company. Originally named Shiloh, the city changed its name to Springdale when applying for a post office in 1872. It is included in the four-county Northwest Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is ranked 102nd in terms of population in the United States with 546,725 in 2020 according to the United States Census Bureau. The city had a population of 84,161 at the 2020 Census.Springdale has been experiencing a population boom in recent years, as indicated by a 133% growth in population between the 1990 and 2010 censuses. During this period of rapid growth, the city has seen the establishment of a Springdale campus of Northwest Arkansas Community College and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals minor league baseball team move into Arvest Ballpark. Tyson remains the city's top employer, and is visible throughout the city. Many public features bear the Tyson name, including the Randal Tyson Recreational Complex, Don Tyson Parkway, Helen Tyson Middle School, John Tyson Elementary and Don Tyson School of Innovation. Governor Mike Beebe signed an act into law recognizing Springdale as "The Poultry Capital Of The World" in 2013.

The Old Springdale High School is a historic former school building on Johnson Street in Springdale, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story red brick Romanesque Revival building, with round-arch windows at the second level and a prominent entry pavilion at the center. The school was designed by A. O. Clark and completed in 1909. It is distinguished as a fine example of Clark's early work, and as the city's finest example of Romanesque architecture.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. It is currently used as the Springdale Public Schools Administration Building.

Shady Grove is an unincorporated community in Springdale Township, Washington County, Arkansas, United States. It is located in south Springdale, just northwest of Lake Fayetteville.

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, located in Springdale, Arkansas, is a regional history museum covering the Arkansas Ozarks. Programs, exhibits, and events relating to Ozark and Northwest Arkansas history are offered by the museum to the public. The museum has a large research library and the largest collection of historic images in Arkansas. The library is open to the public during regular museum hours. The geographic region covered by the museum includes the following six counties: Benton County, Boone County, Carroll County, Madison County, Newton County, and Washington County.

Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church is a church in Springdale, Arkansas. Jonathan Boelkins was the project manager. It was converted from a metal shop garage. Marlon Blackwell was the church's architect. The church is located at 3171 South 48th Street across I-540 from Arvest Ballpark. It includes a skylit tower and an addition on the western side. It is modern and sparse in decoration. It received the 2013 American Institute of Architects Honor Awards for Architecture, the 2012 AIA Small Project Award, the 2011 World Architecture Festival – Best Civic and Community Building award, the 2011 Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award, the 2011 Gulf States Regional AIA Merit Award, was the 2011 Architectural Record Magazine Online – November Feature, received the 2010 Architect Magazine Design Review Honor Award and won a 2010 Arkansas AIA Honor Award.

Shiloh Church is a historic church at Huntsville and Main Streets in Springdale, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, finished with wooden clapboards and topped by a gable roof with a small belfry. Decoration is relatively plain, with pilastered corners, a plain entablature along the side walls, and transom windows above the pair of entrances on the main facade. Built in 1870, it is the oldest surviving building in Springdale. It was used for many years as both a church (by multiple denominations) and the local Masonic lodge. By the late 1920s it had been abandoned by all of these users, and was acquired in 1932 by the local chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), which used it as its lodge. The IOOF chapter deeded the building to the city in 2005. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Beely-Johnson American Legion Post 139 is a historic meeting hall at 200 North Spring Street in Springdale, Arkansas. It is a single-story vernacular structure, built out of rough-cut stone laid in irregular courses, and topped by a gable roof. The building is one of the few remaining stone buildings on Springdale. It was built in 1934 with locally raised funding after a grant proposal to the Civil Works Administration, a federal government jobs program, was rejected. The building has served as a meeting point for a large number of local civic organizations, and has been used as a polling place.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007 for its architecture and role in the area's social history.

Shiloh Historic District is a historic area of downtown Springdale, Arkansas listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district encompasses eighteen significant buildings within its 32 acres (13 ha), with eight having historic or architectural significance and twelve relating to the early commercial and industrial development of Springdale. Also included within the area are several roads of historic significance to the city. The district covers an area straddling Spring Brook, around which the community developed beginning in the 1830s, and is roughly centered on the 1870 Shiloh Church building, which is the community's oldest surviving building.

Gulley is an unincorporated community in Johnson Township, Washington County, Arkansas, United States. It is located within Johnson, on Johnson Road along the railroad tracks.
