Linkou Power Plant

The LPGA Taiwan Championship is a women's professional golf tournament in Taiwan on the LPGA Tour. It debuted as the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship in 2011 at the Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Yangmei. It was the first LPGA tournament ever played in Taiwan. It moved to Miramar Golf Country Club in Taipei and was renamed to the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship in 2014. The field is limited to 90 players who will play all 72 holes; however, there is a cut for LPGA season-long points championship purposes at the end of 72 holes of the top 40 and ties. Only the players who make this cut will earn points to qualify for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. The Hai-Fu Power Plant (Chinese: 海湖發電廠; pinyin: Hǎihú Fādiànchǎng) is a 980 MW combined cycle power station located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is located 5 km (3 mi) north east of Taoyuan International Airport. The power station runs on natural gas and consists of two KA24-2 turbines. The turnkey project was awarded in 1996 to ABB. The customer is EverPower IPP Co. Ltd. with its head office in Taichung.

Shanbi (Chinese: 山鼻站; pinyin: Shānbí Zhàn) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This elevated station has two side platforms and two tracks. The station is 108.7 metres (357 ft) long and 24.4 metres (80 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.

Kengkou (Chinese: 坑口站; pinyin: Kēngkǒu Zhàn) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.

The Nankan River (Chinese: 南崁溪; pinyin: Nánkàn Xī; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lâm-khàm Khe) is a river in northern Taiwan. It flows through Taoyuan City for 31 km.

The Zhuwei Fish Harbor (traditional Chinese: 竹圍漁港; simplified Chinese: 竹围渔港; pinyin: Zhúwéi Yúgǎng) is a fishing port in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Nankan New Town (Chinese: 南崁新市鎮; pinyin: Nánkǎn xīn shìzhèn) is a large residential development located at the border of Luzhu District and Guishan District in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It was first proposed as a new town in the 1980s. The project aims to create a town using 32.4 km2 in central Luzhu and northeast Guishan to relocate people from the overcrowded Taipei metropolitan area in response to the emergence of various industries in the area west of Taipei city. The new town has convenient access to the National Freeway 1, which was completed in 1978, and Taoyuan International Airport, which opened in 1979. It currently has a population of about 100,000. Famous buildings in the new town includes EVA Air Headquarters and Gallery & Palace, which is the tallest building in the district.

The Port of Taipei or Taipei Harbor (Chinese: 臺北港; pinyin: Táiběi Gǎng) is a port in Bali District, New Taipei, Taiwan, and is the country's newest international port. Phase I of the project was initiated by Port of Tamsui in 1993 and completed in 1998. Government and private investors have cooperated on Phase II construction since July 1996. Phase II will utilize a water area of 2,833 hectares and a land area of 269 hectares, for a total of 3,102 hectares. The port was scheduled to be completed in 2011. Estimates anticipate annual volumes by that date of 4,000,000 TEU, superseding the current volume of the Keelung Port.

Linkou District (Chinese: 林口區; pinyin: Línkǒu Qū; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Nâ-kháu khu) is a district in the northwestern part of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. The name "Linkou" translates to "forest mouth"; in fact, for much of its history, Linkou remained a relatively rural and undeveloped district. This has recently begun to change: Since the latter half of the 2010s, Linkou has been undergoing a period of rapid population growth and land development relative to other nearby districts.

Monarch Skyline Hotel (Chinese: 尊爵天際大飯店) is a hotel located in Nankan New Town, Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Opened on 8 August 2008, the 20-storey, 241 ft (73 m) tall hotel has 250 rooms and suites and has facilities such as a business center, spa, lounge bar and gym.

The Bali Refuse Incineration Plant (traditional Chinese: 八里垃圾焚化廠; simplified Chinese: 八里垃圾焚化厂; pinyin: Bālǐ Lèsè Fénhuà Chǎng) is an incinerator in Bali District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The chimney of the incineration plant is 150 m (490 ft) tall.
