Westland Mall (West Burlington)

West Burlington is a city in Des Moines County, Iowa, United States, adjacent to the Mississippi River city of Burlington. The population was 2,968 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Burlington, IA–IL Micropolitan Statistical Area.

The West Burlington Independent School District is a public school district in West Burlington, Iowa, and is home to the West Burlington Falcons. The district serves almost all residential areas in West Burlington.

Southeastern Community College is a public community college in Iowa, one in Burlington and one in Keokuk.

KBUR (1490 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve the community of Burlington, Iowa. The station primarily broadcasts a talk radio format. KBUR is owned by Pritchard Broadcasting Corporation. It was first licensed on September 11, 1941. Pritchard Broadcasting Corporation (owned by John T. Pritchard) agreed to purchase the station from GAP West (owned by Skip Weller) in late 2007. The station was owned by Clear Channel prior to GAP West.

KGRS (107.3 FM) is a commercial radio station that serves the Burlington, Iowa area. The station broadcasts a hot adult contemporary format. KGRS is licensed to Titan Broadcasting, LLC, which is owned by John C. "LJ" Pritchard. Titan Broadcasting LLC agreed to purchase the station from GAP West (owned by Skip Weller) in late 2007. The station was owned by Clear Channel prior to GAP West. Titan also owns KBKB-FM in nearby Fort Madison, Iowa. The transmitter and broadcast tower are located in Burlington near the intersection of U.S. Route 61 and U.S. Route 34. According to the Antenna Structure Registration database, the tower is 114 m (374 ft) tall with the FM broadcast antenna mounted at the 103 m (338 ft) level. Community Field is a stadium in Burlington, Iowa. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of the Burlington Bees collegiate summer baseball team of the Prospect League. Occasionally, the stadium is used by the local high school baseball team. The current stadium holds 3,200 people. Community Field was most recently named the 2013 "Field of the Year" in the state of Iowa by the Iowa Sports Turf Management Association.

Notre Dame High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Burlington, Iowa. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Davenport.

Burlington Community High School, or Burlington High School, is a four-year public high school located in Burlington, Iowa. The school has an enrollment of 1046 students in grades 9 through 12. It is located at 421 Terrace Street and takes up the entire block on the west side of the street, from Terrace Drive, to Roosevelt Avenue, and north-south, from Division Street, to Johanssen Drive. The current building was completed in 1969, with the first graduating class in 1970, prior to that, the school was located in another two building campus two blocks west of Central Avenue, near the downtown business district. Until 1983, 9th grade students were enrolled in a separate building, the following school year, ninth grade was integrated into the high school. As the only high school in the district, it serves Burlington and Middletown, as well as residences in the western portion of West Burlington.The school sports teams are called the Grayhounds, and is only one of two high schools in the nation to use a purple and gray color scheme.

Beaverdale is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Flint River Township, Des Moines County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 952. It is part of the Burlington, Iowa micropolitan area.
