Atchelitz

Greendale is a primarily agricultural settlement within Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, located 92 kilometres (57 mi) east of the City of Vancouver. Greendale is located on the west side of Chilliwack, bordering the east side of the City of Abbotsford. The Vedder River forms the border between Greendale and Yarrow which lies to the South. Greendale was originally called Sumas, but got renamed in 1951 to avoid confusion with the adjoining municipality, the District of Sumas (now part of the City of Abbotsford), as well as Sumas, Washington. The area was once a 10,000 acres (4,000 ha) lake at the base of Sumas Mountain. Sumas Lake was drained in the early 1920s. Greendale has experienced two major floods, after the completed drainage, in 1894 and 1948.The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve is located in Greendale.

Chilliwack Mountain is a small mountain rising from the floodplain of the Fraser River in the city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Located on the south side of the Fraser opposite the north side community of Deroche, it lies just west of the downtown of Chilliwack and to the east of Greendale, a rural neighbourhood of Chilliwack near its western boundary.

Area Support Unit Chilliwack (ASU Chilliwack) is a Canadian Forces facility located in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Located in the upper valley of the Fraser River, approximately 100 km (62 mi) east of Vancouver, it is the only Land Force Command facility in the province. It provides essential support and services for 200 Regular Force and 1800 Reserve Force personnel.

Yarrow is a small community located 90 kilometres east of Vancouver within the City of Chilliwack in British Columbia, Canada. It is in the Fraser Valley at the foot of Vedder Mountain. The village was first settled by Mennonites in the late 1920s, following the draining of Sumas Lake and the reclamation of the former lake bed for agriculture.

Aitchelitch 9, a.k.a. Aitchelitch Indian Reserve No. 9, is an Indian Reserve within the City of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, in the Eastern Fraser Valley of the province's Lower Mainland region. It is located two and a half miles southwest of downtown Chilliwack. It is the home reserve and under the governance of the Aitchelitz First Nation.

Sardis Secondary, abbreviated as SSS, is a public high school in Chilliwack, British Columbia part of School District 33 Chilliwack. The current principal is Lynnet Schramm. Sardis Secondary has a focus on agricultural and skilled trades education. The school is also somewhat distinctive in having an active high school football team.

The Yarrow Ecovillage is an intentional community in Yarrow, British Columbia, Canada. Yarrow is a settlement of 3,000 population within the municipal boundaries of Chilliwack, British Columbia. The Ecovillage is a member-designed community that aims to achieve a more socially, ecologically and economically sustainable way of life. The Ecovillage's master plan for the 10-hectare (25-acre) former dairy farm, foresaw three main legal entities: An 8-hectare (20-acre) organic farm, a 31-unit multigenerational cohousing community (later increased to 33 units), and a mixed-use development with just under 2800 m2 (30,000 sf) of commercial space, a 17-unit senior cohousing community and a learning centre.Chilliwack City Council approved the plans, granting "Ecovillage zoning" in 2006. In January 2015, the Ecovillage had 100 residents (one third of whom were children) in the multigenerational cohousing community ("Groundswell Cohousing"). The organic farm has been in operation since 2003. In January 2014, Groundswell Cohousing at the Yarrow Ecovillage was awarded the "Sustainability Leadership Award" by the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce at the 19th Annual Business Excellence Awards.

Vedder Crossing is adjacent to the junction of the Chilliwack and Vedder Rivers at its southern boundary, and Promontory Road to the north.

The Cultus Lake Waterpark is one of the three amusement parks operated by Destination Cultus in Cultus Lake, British Columbia, with the others being Cultus Lake Adventure Park and Splashdown Vernon. It claims to be the largest water park in the province, at 640 acres (260 hectares).

Dinotown was a dinosaur theme park in British Columbia, Canada, which operated from 1975 to 2010. Originally located in the lower Cultus Lake area and close to Bridal Falls in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada, it opened under the name Bedrock City and based around The Flintstones licensing. It reopened in 1995 under non-licensed dinosaur theming, and closed in 2010. From 2011 onwards, some temporary Dinotown exhibits operated in other locations. As of April 2021, they are "currently in discussions with multiple lower mainland locations including Vancouver, Surrey, New Westminster and Richmond to re-open the park on a permanent basis.
