Wing Commander Edwin Swale (28 June 1899 – 19 July 1978) was an English First World War flying ace credited with 17 aerial victories. His victory list is notable because he scored 14 of his 17 wins against the premier German fighter of the war, the Fokker D.VII, and became the leading Sopwith Camel ace of No. 210 Squadron RAF.

Chesterfield Parish Church is an Anglican church dedicated to Saint Mary and All Saints, in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. Building of the church began in 1234 AD, though the present church dates predominantly from the 14th century. Designated a Grade I listed building in 1971, St Mary's is best known for its twisted and leaning spire (known as the Crooked Spire). It is the largest parish church in the Diocese of Derby, and forms part of the Archdeaconry of Chesterfield. In 1994 it also became the UK's only representative in the Association of the Twisted Spires of Europe; of the 72 member churches, it is deemed to have the greatest lean and twist.

Chesterfield Museum and Art Gallery is a local museum and art gallery in the town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.The hall was named in honour of the British railway pioneer George Stephenson and the museum has a small collection of objects relating to Stephenson and his family. The museum is across the road from the Church of St Mary and All Saints, the parish church more popularly known as the Crooked Spire. The museum, established in 1994, presents the history of Chesterfield from its origins as a Roman fort to the present. It is located on St Mary's Gate in the Stephenson Memorial Hall, dating from 1879 and originally built as a mechanics institute. Later this part of the building was used for the town's public library. Chesterfield Museum is owned and operated by Chesterfield Borough Council.

It is currently operated by East Midlands Railway. The station has the PlusBus scheme where train and bus tickets can be bought together at a saving. Chesterfield Market is an open-air market in the town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. It consists of a large market square, with extensive stalls outside, selling fruit, flowers, clothing, hardware and groceries. The Market square stands between the streets of Low Pavement and High Street. The market is one of the largest open air markets in the country, and dates back to at least 1165. The original market square stood further north, close to the Church of St Mary and All Saints.

Low Pavement is a short street located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. It connects West Bars to Vicar Lane. The street is a shopping district.Low Pavement, as well as the adjoining roads and the market square, is part of Chesterfield Town Centre Conservation Area. The road was also included in the Revitalisation that was awarded a European Heritage medal in 1981.
