Cedars of Lebanon State Park is a state park in Wilson County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. It consists of 900 acres (364 ha) situated amidst the 9,420-acre (3,810 ha) Cedars of Lebanon State Forest. The park and forest are approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of Lebanon, Tennessee. Cedars of Lebanon State Forest is known for its cedar glades, a unique type of ecosystem that has adapted to the thin (or nonexistent) soil layers that often occur in the eastern Central Basin. These glades are typically flanked by thick stands of red cedar, a type of juniper tree that can survive in soil layers too thin to support most large wooded plants. The presence of the red cedar in the basin reminded the region's early Euro-American settlers of the Lebanese cedar forests of Biblical fame.

Cedar Grove Cemetery is a historic cemetery located in Lebanon, Tennessee, and owned by the city government. The land was purchased by the City of Lebanon in 1846. However, the first mention of a city cemetery was in the year 1823. Prior to this location, the cemetery was situated on the parcel of land that held the College Street Church of Christ (which now has been converted into Wilson County Offices). Cedar Grove Cemetery has grown to contain approximately 34.6 acres (140,000 m2), of which 11 acres (45,000 m2) remain undeveloped as of 2007.Many of the early leaders of Middle Tennessee and Cumberland University are buried here, including some 130 Confederate war dead and veterans. U.S. Representatives Robert Allen, Robert L. Caruthers, Edward Isaac Golladay, Robert Hatton, and Haywood Yancey Riddle are buried there, as is former Tennessee Governor William Bowen Campbell.

WCOR is an AM radio station broadcasting in the eastern portion of the Nashville, Tennessee, market with a power of 1,000 watts. In its early years, WCOR functioned as a community-oriented station aimed primarily at residents of Wilson County, Tennessee. (It is licensed to the county seat of Wilson County, Lebanon). After this format became untenable in the 1980s (as it did for many small-town radio stations, particularly those located adjacent to major and mid-major markets), the station, after going dark for a period, resumed operation, marketing itself to particularly the eastern portion of the wider Nashville market. The majority of its programming now consists of a simulcast of its FM sister station, WANT, but some separate sports programming is also carried associated with Lebanon's Cumberland University. In fall 2005, the station moved from 900 kHz, where it had spent nearly 60 years, to a newly licensed frequency of 1490 kHz. The station is an affiliate of the Tennessee Titans radio network.

Wilson County Schools (WCS) is a K–12 school district in Wilson County, Tennessee, United States. The district enrolls nearly 20,000 students and over 1,100 teachers at ten elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, and five high schools. Students who live within the K–8 Lebanon Special School District (LSSD) automatically transition to Lebanon High School in Wilson County Schools after completing their eighth-grade year. Wilson County Schools is the ninth largest school district in the state.

Rest Hill Cemetery is an African-American cemetery in Lebanon, Tennessee. The cemetery was established with the help of the Freedmen's Bureau in 1867–1869, during the Reconstruction Era. It was expanded in 1880. It includes the burials of at least 25 blacks who were born as slaves, before the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. There are also civic leaders like J. R. Inman (a co-founder of the Wilson County Colored Teachers Association) and Republican politicians like Jake Owens and Martin Manson, from the postbellum era.The cemetery has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 25, 1993. By 2002, it was mostly overgrown, and the city of Lebanon agreed to restore it.

This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation airport.
