Handlan's Park is a former baseball ground located in St. Louis, Missouri. The ground was home to the St. Louis Terriers of the Federal League in 1914 and 1915. After the Federal League folded, it was used as the St. Louis University Athletic Field, and was also known as High School Field in the 1920s. During that period, the local Sumner High School and Lincoln University baseball clubs held an annual Decoration Day contest there. The St. Louis Giants of the Negro National League played some games there in 1920 and 1921, although that club had its own park on North Broadway.Surrounded by Grand Avenue on the west, Laclede Avenue on the north, Theresa Avenue to the east, and Clark Avenue to the south, the space used for the park was owned by Alexander H. Handlan. The head of an international railway supply house, Handlan-Buck Manufacturing, Handlan operated a private park at the site aptly named Handlan's Park. The seating capacity of 15,000 comprised the grandstand at the southeast corner of Laclede and Grand, the pavilion situated near Grand and Clark, and bleachers stretching behind center field between two rows of houses, which were barricaded by tall wooden fences. Home plate was centered in front of the grandstand at Grand and Laclede. Most sources give the playing field's dimensions as 325 feet (99 m) for left, 375 feet (114 m) for center and 300 feet (91 m) for right field.The St. Louis Chapter of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) placed a marker at the site of Handlan's Park, now on the campus of Saint Louis University, on October 17, 2007.

Grand is a St. Louis MetroLink station. The station consists of a single island platform situated beneath the Grand Boulevard viaduct. The station was renovated beginning in 2011 and reopened in late 2012.The station is near Saint Louis University and Grand Center and connects to the region's busiest bus line on Grand Boulevard, the #70, which runs fully electric, articulated buses.In 2012, Metro's Arts in Transit program commissioned the work Garden Under the Bridge by Barbara Grygutis for installation under the Grand Boulevard viaduct near the station. In the center of the transit plaza, two “seed pod forms” create a gateway to the station and illuminate the surrounding area with electric-blue light. LED lighting embedded in the pavers work in concert with this main sculpture.

Saint Louis University (SLU) is a private Jesuit research university with campuses in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, and Madrid, Spain. Founded in 1818 by Louis William Valentine DuBourg, it is the oldest university west of the Mississippi River and the second-oldest Jesuit university in the United States. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.In the 2022–2023 academic year, SLU had an enrollment of 13,546 students. SLU's athletic teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I and are a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Hermann Stadium, or fully, Robert R. Hermann Stadium is located in Midtown St. Louis, Missouri, on the campus of Saint Louis University. The first game played was August 21, 1999. This is where both the Billiken men's and women's soccer teams play. Also, several other events take place here, such as pep rallies and the University's Relay For Life. The seating capacity of the stadium is 6,050. The stadium is named after Bob Hermann. The Billikens play on a regulation 120x75-yard soccer pitch.

The Steelcote Manufacturing Company Paint Factory, at 801 Edwin in St. Louis, Missouri, was built in 1922. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The paint factory is significant in part as "the only remaining extant site of the four Steelcote Manufacturing Company sites"; the firm operated only in St. Louis during its independent existence.It was designed by architects Hellmuth & Hellmuth, a firm founded by George W. Hellmuth (1870-1955) and his brother Harry Hellmuth. It is believed to be the first building in St. Louis constructed with a floating foundation, implementing a technique created by architects Burnham and Root of Chicago.It was built by Joseph Bright Construction Co.The listing includes 801 Edwin and also "Steelcote Square Number 5" (3418 Gratiot).There is an office building built in 1922.The main building is a five-story industrial warehouse/factory building, built an exposed concrete structure. It has concrete piers; it is three bays wide and five bays deep. Between the piers are steel industrial windows above concrete sills above red brick. Its first three floors were completed in 1924; the top two floors and two "penthouses" were added in 1929. One penthouse is the top of the elevator system.In 2018, renovations began on the factory building to turn it into rental lofts; other buildings in the complex are also being renovated for future shopping and housing.

The Center for Global Citizenship (CGC), previously known as the Bauman–Eberhardt Center and the West Pine Gym, is a multi-purpose cultural center in St. Louis, Missouri. The building initially opened in 1920 as an arena, and was used for this purpose by Saint Louis University until Chaifetz Arena finished construction in 2008. After extensive renovation, the building became the Center for Global Citizenship in the fall of 2013.It was home of the Saint Louis University Billikens men's basketball team until the Kiel Auditorium opened in 1934. The building also hosted the Saint Louis University Billikens women's basketball team from 1920 to 2008. which played its final season at that facility during the 2007–2008 season. After that, the program moved into the new Chaifetz Arena at the start of the 2008–2009 season.The building is now home to SLU's Center of Global Citizenship, which opened in 2013.

The Bather, also known as Sluzie In the Jacuzzi or The Floozie in the Jacuzzi, is a bronze sculpture by Gary Mauro, measuring at 77 inches (6 feet 5 inches or 1.9558 m) in length, located on the campus of Saint Louis University, Midtown, Missouri, along the pathway between Ritter Hall and Tegler Hall. The sculpture depicts a fully nude, toned, female figure stretched out in a pool of falling water. The figure's pose was made to resemble that of Michelangelo's work depicting God on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. The surface's rough texture was inspired by Auguste Rodin's finishing technique. The sculpture was completed in 1997, it was then bought by the University's president at the time, president Lawrence H. Biondi for $35200. Originally, the sculpture was intended to be a 13″ Marquette called Tara Reclining before a prominent art collector encouraged Mauro to create what is known today as The Bather.

The Knights of Columbus Vatican Film Library in St. Louis, Missouri is the only collection, outside the Vatican itself, of microfilms of more than 37,000 works from the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, the Vatican Library in Europe. It is located in the Pius XII Memorial Library on the campus of Saint Louis University.

Pius XII Memorial Library is an academic library located on the Saint Louis University Frost Campus. Named after Pope Pius XII and built in 1959, it occupies 215,000 square feet and houses over 1.3 million volumes, including more than 30,000 rare books. It is the home of the Knights of Columbus Vatican Film Library.

Aquinas Institute of Theology is a Catholic graduate school and seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. It was founded by the Dominican Order and is sponsored by the Province of St. Albert the Great.

Humphrey's Restaurant & Tavern (also referred to as Humphrey's or Hump's) is a college bar near Saint Louis University. For over four decades, the restaurant and tavern at the corner of Spring and Laclede has been the close-to-campus destination for many students. It was the basis for the 2001 film One Night at McCool's, written by Stan Seidel, and yet the movie was not shot here. Seidel, who died just prior to the film's debut, was a frequent customer at Humphrey's before writing the film.The tavern opened on June 18, 1976, and is named after its owner, Robert "Humphrey" Mangelsdorf. Mr. Mangelsdorf was born in St. Louis. In 1968, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Louis University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. The tavern closed on January 1, 2017. Originally the structure was going to be demolished and rebuilt, but it instead was heavily renovated. Humphrey's reopened in November 2022.

The Samuel Cupples House is a historic mansion in St. Louis, Missouri, constructed from 1888 to 1890 by Samuel Cupples. It is now a museum on the campus of Saint Louis University. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
