Llanddoged and Maenan

Llanddoged is a small village which lies in the hills a little over a mile to the north of Llanrwst, in Conwy county borough, Wales. The village itself has a small population, with a surrounding rural farming community. Most of the population are Welsh speakers. Llanddoged shares its community council with the rural community of Maenan. Llanddoged has two small hamlets attached to it - Groesffordd and Tan-Lan. Groesffordd has a motor repair garage known as 'Garej Groesffordd'. Tan-lan was known for its notorious bends on the A470 where, before road improvements, many road traffic collisions had occurred. Tan-lan is also home to an Environment Agency Wales depot.

Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy is a bilingual co-educational comprehensive school in the town of Llanrwst in Conwy County Borough, North Wales. The school serves the community of Llanrwst and the many surrounding villages including the rural districts of Betws-y-Coed, Dolgarrog and Cerrigydrudion. There are around 658 pupils on roll, including 137 in the sixth form, which is lower than the figures at the time of the last inspection in 2014. Most of them are bilingual. The school has recently been moved onto one expanded site which had originally housed years 7-9 only. The site of the upper school (the oldest building and site of the original grammar school) has been developed into an NHS centre. The headteacher of the school from 2014–2020 was Elan Davies, the first female headteacher of the school in 400 years.The school was founded as Llanrwst Grammar School in 1610 by Sir John Wynn, which was situated in the building of the 'upper school'. In 1960 it was renamed Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy (Conwy Valley School) to reflect the fact that the school served the wider Conwy Valley. In February 2005 the pupils were all moved to the Sodexo-owned site on Nebo Road.

Gower is the name of one of the electoral wards of town of Llanrwst, Conwy County Borough, Wales. It covers the northern part of the town, with its western border defined by the River Conwy and its southern border (dividing it from Llanrwst's Crwst ward) defined by the Nant y Fedwen.According to the 2011 UK Census the population of the ward was 1,205.

Crwst is an electoral wards of town of Llanrwst, Conwy County Borough, Wales. It covers the southern part of the town, with its western border defined by the River Conwy and its northern border (dividing it from Llanrwst's Gower ward) defined by the Nant y Fedwen.According to the 2011 UK Census, the population of the ward was 2,118.

Llanrwst railway station is in Denbigh Street near the centre of the market town of Llanrwst, Wales, and close to the local bus termini in Watling Street. It is situated on the Conwy Valley Line from Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog 12 miles (19 km) south of the former and was opened by British Rail in 1989. The town's original station (opened in 1863) 1⁄2 mile (0.80 km) to the north is now called North Llanrwst.

North Llanrwst railway station (Welsh: Gogledd Llanrwst) is the only train passing station on the Conwy Valley Line between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog in Wales. The station has had several previous names, including Llanrwst and Trefriw, Llanrwst and Llanrwst North. This station is also a request stop.

Nant Conwy was a rural district in the administrative county of Caernarfonshire from 1934 to 1974. The district was formed by a County Review Order, combining the areas of Geirionydd Rural District with most of Conwy Rural District and part of Ogwen Rural District. The name is derived from Nant Conwy, an historic cwmwd of the Kingdom of Gwynedd in the cantref of Arllechwedd. The change to "Nant Conwy" took effect on 1 December 1972 after a vote by the council, following the example of the neighbouring town of Conwy which had changed the official spelling of its name in August 1972.In 1974 the rural district was abolished, with its area becoming part of the Borough of Aberconwy, one of five districts of the new county of Gwynedd.

Llanrwst ('church or parish of Saint Grwst'; Welsh pronunciation: [ɬanˈruːst]) is a market town and community on the A470 road and the River Conwy, in Conwy County Borough, Wales, and the historic county of Denbighshire. It developed round the wool trade and became known also for the making of harps and clocks. Today, less than one mile (two kilometres) from the edge of Snowdonia, its main pursuit is tourism. Notable buildings include almshouses, two 17th-century chapels, and the Parish Church of St Grwst, which holds a stone coffin of Llywelyn the Great. The 2011 census gave it a population of 3,323.

St Mary's Church, Llanrwst, was located in Betws Road, Llanrwst, Conwy, Wales. It had been built in 1841–42, and was designed by Henry Kennedy. Intended for the use of English residents and visitors to the region, in 1874–75 the Lancaster architects Paley and Austin tripled the size of the chancel, extending it towards the east, and reseated the church at a cost of £925 (equivalent to £93,000 in 2021). This cost included stained glass by Ward and Hughes in two of the chancel windows. The church was later demolished and its stone altar moved into the north aisle of St Grwst's Church elsewhere in the town. Only fragments of the church walls have survived.

St Grwst's Church, Llanrwst, is located in Church Street (Tan yr Eglwys), Llanrwst, Conwy, Wales. It is an active Church in Wales parish church and is part of the Aberconwy Mission Area in the archdeaconry of St Asaph, and the diocese of St Asaph. Its benefice is united with those of Llanddoged with Capel Garmon, Llansanffraid Glan Conwy, and Eglwysbach. The church is designated by Cadw as a Grade I listed building.

Maenan Hall is a Grade I-listed hall house north west of the village of Llanddoged, Conwy, Wales. This late medieval country mansion has fine decorative plasterwork and was the home of the Kyffin family. It is privately owned, but the extensive gardens are open to the public on a few occasions each year.

Llanrwst United (Welsh: Clwb Pêl-Droed Llanrwst Unedig) is a Welsh football club based in Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley. They play in the Ardal Leagues North West, which is in the third tier of the Welsh football league system. The club colours are red and white.
