Tschagguns

The Litz is a river of Vorarlberg, Austria. The Litz has a length of about 22 km (14 mi). It originates from a 7-fold spring near the Alpe Fresch (alpine pasture Fresch) on approximately 1,800 m (5,900 ft) above sea level. Another part of the water comes from the lake Langsee, which seeps subterraneously into the Litz. In the course of time the Litz created the valley Silbertal in a slightly bellied river course. The Gaflunerbach (length: 6.5 km (4.0 mi)) comes from the valley Gaflunertal and discharges into the Litz from the right. The Litz passes Silbertal, traverses the area of Bartholomäberg and of Schruns, where it finally discharges into the Ill.

Bartholomäberg is a municipality and a village in the district of Bludenz in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg.

Heliport Sanatorium Dr. Schenk (ICAO: LOIY) is a private, medical use only heliport located in Schruns, Vorarlberg, Austria.

Schruns is a municipality in the Montafon valley (altitude 690 meters), in the Bludenz district of the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. To the west is the famous Zimba mountain, often called the "Vorarlberger Matterhorn," which is very popular among climbers and hikers.

The Partnach Formation is a Middle Triassic geologic formation in the eastern Northern Limestone Alps and Western Carpathians, within Austria and Slovakia, Central Europe. The formation consists of alternating grey and green marls and shales (Partnach shales) and grey limestones (Partnach Limestone), often brecciated, oncolithic and containing clay intraclasts. The formation is gradually evolving from the Reifling Formation. It is usually overlain by the Lunz/Reibl Formation or Wetterstein Formation. Sediments of the Partnach Formation were deposited in intrashelf basins. The rock unit was originally defined as Partnachschichten by Wilhelm von Gümbel in 1858. It preserves fossils dated to the Ladinian age of the Middle Triassic Epoch of the Triassic Period.

The Bezirk Bludenz is an administrative district (Bezirk) in Vorarlberg, Austria. Area of the district is 1,287.63 km², population is 61,407 (January 1, 2012), and population density 48 persons per km². Administrative center of the district is Bludenz.

The Tschaggunser Mittagsspitze is a 2,168 m (AA) high mountain in the Rätikon mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps. It is located in the Austrian state Vorarlberg, south of the village Tschagguns in the Montafon valley.

Vandans is a town located in the Bludenz district in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. Located 650 m (2133 ft) above sea level, it is known for its skiing and hiking activities.

Sankt Anton im Montafon is a town in the Montafon valley in the district of Bludenz in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is a popular ski resort, and much of the population makes a living from tourism.

Tilisuna-Schwarzhorn (also called Schwarzhara) is a mountain in the Sulzfluh sub-range of the Rätikon mountain range in the Austrian state Vorarlberg. It has elevation 2,460 m (AA), with a long ridge from north to south and wide scarps east and west. Besides the main summit, there is a second summit called Kleines Schwarzhorn. Both summits are separated by the col Fürkele. The alpine club hut Tilisunahütte (2208 m) is located near the Tilisuna-Schwarzhorn. The first ascensionists of Tilisuna-Schwarzhorn were land surveyors in 1853. Nowadays there are two common routes to the summit: Easiest route: From south starting at Tilisunahütte via the saddle Schwarze Scharte in 45 to 75 minutes; some parts UIAA grade II, mostly grade I. This route was opened by J. S. Douglass and Chr. Zudrell in 1883. North ridge: From upper station of cable car Grabs via Alpe Alpila and Schwarzhornsattel (2166 m) in 2–2½ hours; UIAA grade II. This route was opened by A. Remann, G. Gaßner and B. Hemmerle in 1886.
