Ben A'an

Dalrigh is a hamlet in Scotland near Tyndrum. The name means "The King's Field" in Scottish Gaelic. The origin of the name stems specifically from the Battle of Dalrigh which was fought there in 1306, when King Robert I of Scotland (Bruce) was defeated by the Clan MacDougall.

The Trossachs (; Scottish Gaelic: Na Tròiseachan) generally refers to an area of wooded glens, braes, and lochs lying to the east of Ben Lomond in the Stirling council area of Scotland. The name is taken from that of a small woodland glen that lies at the centre of the area, but is now generally applied to the wider region. The wooded hills and lochs of the area may be considered to represent a microcosm of a typical highland landscape, and the woodlands are an important habitat for many species. Much of the Trossachs area is protected by various different conservation designations, including the Great Trossachs Forest National Nature Reserve.The Trossachs form part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, which was established in 2002. The area has long been visited by tourists due to the relative proximity of major population centres such as Glasgow and Stirling, and remains popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists. Scenic boat rides on Loch Katrine are popular with visitors: the steamer SS Sir Walter Scott, launched in 1899, remains in operation. The Great Trossachs Path, one of Scotland's Great Trails, is a 48 km route suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It runs between Callander in the east and Inversnaid on the banks of Loch Lomond in the west, passing along the northern shores of Loch Katrine and Loch Arklet.

The Glen Finglas Estate is a property in Glen Finglas in the Trossachs, Scotland managed by The Woodland Trust. The estate extends for over 10,000 acres (4,000 ha), most of which was once covered in woodland. The closest towns are Aberfoyle and Callander. The Woodland Trust has restored ancient woodland and created the Great Trossachs Path, one of Scotland's Great Trails, across the estate.

Loch Achray is a small freshwater loch 11 km (6.8 mi) west of Callander in Stirling district, Scotland. The loch lies between Loch Katrine and Loch Venachar in the heart of the Trossachs and has an average depth of 11 metres (36 ft).

Ben Venue (Scottish Gaelic: A' Bheinn Mheanbh) is a mountain in the Trossachs area of Scotland. The name Ben Venue is derived from the Scottish Gaelic words meaning "the miniature mountain". The summit lies approximately 2 kilometres south-west of the pier at the southern end of Loch Katrine. At the foot of the mountain close to the shore of Loch Katrine is Bealach nam Bò meaning the "pass of the cattle", a reference to the lawless days when Highland cattle "lifters" used the pass to drive stolen herds to their land. Ben Venue is a popular walk and can be accessed from either Ledard farm track at Loch Ard, via the Beinn an Fhogharaidh ridge, or from the car park at the head of Loch Achray: both routes are approximately 5 km in length. A sign in the forestry warns that the mountain should not be approached or descended directly to or from Loch Katrine, as the slopes on this side are very steep and littered with dangerous cliffs. Several indistinct paths do exist on this side of the hill however. Ben Venue has two summits a short distance apart. The triangulation pillar on the eastern summit has a height of 727 m above sea level, and this height is often given as the height of Ben Venue as a whole. However the western summit is shown to be slightly higher, 729 m, on the Ordnance Survey's 1:25000 map. From (either) summit on a clear day the view extend to the Firth of Forth, the Clyde and Isle of Arran and the Paps of Jura. Good views can be seen along Loch Katrine, Ben A'an, Ben More, Stob Binnein, Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps.

Duke's Pass or Dukes Pass is a pass on the A821 road between Aberfoyle and Brig o' Turk in the glen of the Trossachs in the Scottish Highlands. It climbs to a height of 240 metres (790 ft) above sea level.The name only appears on modern Ordnance Survey maps, but is in common use locally. The road was built by the Duke of Montrose in 1885, hence the name.

The Bicycle Tree is a veteran tree near Brig o' Turk in the Trossachs, Scotland. Dating from the late 19th century, the tree grew in or near to the scrap heap of the village blacksmith and has encapsulated several metal objects over the years. Most notably this includes an early 20th-century bicycle (from which it received its name) and, reputedly, a ship's anchor and chain. The Bicycle Tree is recognized as a landmark of the local area and has become a tourist attraction. It was granted the protection of a Tree Preservation Order by the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority in March 2016.

Craiglich is a hill in western Aberdeenshire, with a height of 476 metres (1562 feet). Its ease of access, Marilyn status and scenic views make it popular with hill walkers. The Queen's View, a local beauty spot at the western end of the hill, was Queen Victoria's favourite viewpoint en route to Balmoral. Situated directly opposite a small car park on the B9119 between Lumphanan and Tarland, it is one of the most accessible viewpoints in north east Scotland, commanding a spectacular panoramic view over the countryside towards Mount Keen, Lochnagar and the Cairngorms.

Brig o' Turk (Scottish Gaelic: Àird Cheannchnocain) is a small rural village historically in Perthshire and today within the council area of Stirling, Scotland. It is situated in the Trossachs, a range of hills on the A821 road.

Beinn an Fhogharaidh is a mountain ridge, 616 metres (2,021 ft) high, in the southern Scottish Highlands near the village of Aberfoyle in Stirling council area, Scotland.

Craigmore is a prominent hill, 387 metres high, above the village of Aberfoyle in the council area of Stirling in Scotland.

Glen Finglas (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Fhionnghlais) is a glen in the Trossachs, in the Stirling council area of Scotland. It is an area of forest in Highlands of the former county of Perthshire, north of Brig o' Turk, close to Callander in Menteith. To the west is Loch Katrine.
