Mogden Sewage Treatment Works

Ivybridge, formerly Mogden, is a housing estate in the southern part of Isleworth in West London. Formerly agricultural, it was the site of Mogden Isolation Hospital, later South Middlesex Hospital, from 1897 to 1991. The area is usually now called Ivybridge rather than Mogden. The Ivybridge estate is a council development with four tower blocks, new build houses, and various different play area's and shopping centers. The area borders between Isleworth and Twickenham, and is close to Twickenham Stadium, the home ground of the England national rugby team.

Isleworth ( (listen) EYE-zəl-wərth) is a town located within the London Borough of Hounslow in West London, England. It lies immediately east of the town of Hounslow and west of the River Thames and its tributary the River Crane. Isleworth's original area of settlement, alongside the Thames, is known as 'Old Isleworth'. The north-west corner of the town, bordering on Osterley to the north and Lampton to the west, is known as 'Spring Grove'. Isleworth's former Thames frontage of approximately one mile, excluding that of the Syon Park estate, was reduced to little over half a mile in 1994 when a borough boundary realignment was effected in order to unite the district of St Margaret's wholly within London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. As a result, most of Isleworth's riverside is that part overlooking the 8.6-acre (3.5 ha) islet of Isleworth Ait: the short-length River Crane flows into the Thames south of the Isleworth Ait, and its artificial distributary the Duke of Northumberland's River west of the Isleworth Ait, one of two Colne distributaries constructed for aesthetic reasons in the 1600–1750 period.

The South Middlesex Hospital was a hospital in Isleworth, London. Opened by the Duke of Cambridge as the Mogden Isolation Hospital in July 1898, it served its own borough and that of Richmond, retaining its name until 1938 when it was then renamed South Middlesex Fever Hospital but continued under local authority control. When the National Health Service was formed it became, in 1948, simply 'South Middlesex Hospital' – still dealing with acute and infectious diseases under the North West Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board. Then from 1974 until its closure in 1991 it was administered by the North West Thames Regional Health Authority. The hospital has been demolished and the site is now occupied by a Tesco superstore.

Woodlands is a small area located in the borough of Hounslow, London between Hounslow and Isleworth. It is an area roughly bounded by the Hounslow Loop railway line and the London Road to the north; the Duke of Northumberland's River and Twickenham Road to the east; and Bridge Road / Worton Road to the south and south-west. It includes roads such as Woodlands Road, Woodland Gardens, Woodlands Grove as well as The Woodlands Tavern public house and St John the Baptist's Church on St John's Road.The estate comprises mostly semi-detached houses built in the 1930s, although there are older buildings too. Before these houses were built the area was used as orchards, hence the name 'Woodlands'. There is an organisation known as the WERFA (Woodlands Estate Resident Freeholders Association) which has a community hall in the small private park in the centre of Woodland Gardens.

Twickenham Stadium () in Twickenham, south-west London, England, is a rugby union stadium owned by the Rugby Football Union (RFU), English rugby union governing body, which has its headquarters there. The stadium is England's national rugby union stadium and is the venue of the England national rugby union team home matches. It is the world's largest rugby union stadium, the second largest stadium in the United Kingdom, behind Wembley Stadium, and the fifth largest in Europe. The Middlesex Sevens, Premiership Rugby fixtures, Anglo-Welsh Cup matches, the Varsity Match between Oxford and Cambridge universities and European Rugby Champions Cup games have been played at Twickenham Stadium. It has also been used as the venue for the Rugby Football League's Challenge Cup Final in 2001 and 2006, and the NFL London Games in 2016 and 2017. Twickenham Stadium has hosted concerts by Rihanna, Iron Maiden, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Genesis, U2, Beyoncé, the Rolling Stones, the Police, Eagles, R.E.M., Eminem, Lady Gaga, Metallica and Depeche Mode.

The World Rugby Museum is a sports museum in the South Stand of Twickenham Stadium, London, England. Its collection comprises over 37,000 pieces of rugby memorabilia, boots, balls, jerseys, programmes, match-tickets, books and assorted paraphernalia. The museum was first opened as The Museum of Rugby, in 1996, becoming the World Rugby Museum in 2007. It re-opened in early February 2018.

Hounslow power station generated and supplied electricity to the district of Hounslow, Heston and Isleworth in west London from 1904 to 1964. Originally steam powered, diesel engine generators were added in the 1950s.The station was owned and operated by Heston and Isleworth Borough Council until the nationalisation of the electricity industry in 1948. The power station was redeveloped as demand for electricity grew and old plant was replaced until its closure in 1964.

All Hallows Twickenham is a Grade I listed church and parish of the Church of England in Twickenham, London. It incorporates the tower of All Hallows Lombard Street and is prominently south of a major road of west London, near Twickenham Stadium, specifically the Chertsey Road (A316). The church took many structures of Sir Christopher Wren's All Hallows Lombard Street in the City of London which was demolished in 1937; its stone square tower, bells, stone pillared cloister and many interior fittings and furnishings were moved to the site.

Twickenham Park was an estate in Twickenham in south-west London.

Richmond upon Thames College is a large college of further and higher education located on a single site in Twickenham. It provides education and training to 16- to 18-year-olds and adults from across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and further afield. The college offers a range of academic and technical vocational qualifications, including A Levels, technical vocational qualifications, higher education courses and apprenticeships. The college is since 2023 part of a newly merged group together with Harrow College and Uxbridge College.

Richmond upon Thames School (RTS), is a co-educational secondary free school located in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond, south-west London, established in September 2017. It is part of the Richmond Education and Enterprise Campus (REEC) that is being created at the site of Richmond upon Thames College (RUTC).RTS is governed by the Richmond upon Thames School Trust, a partnership between Achieving for Children, Harlequins Rugby Club, Haymarket Media Group, Richmond Council and Richmond upon Thames College.Like all English schools, RTS' population and performance data are published in the Department for Education's national tables.

Heston and Isleworth was a local government district of Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1965.
