Hopewell is an unincorporated community in Franklin Township, Johnson County, Indiana, United States.

Van Nuys Farm, also known as the Van Nuys Homestead, is a historic home and farm located in Franklin Township, Johnson County, Indiana, United States. The house was built in 1866, and is a two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling with a hipped roof. It features a pedimented entrance with transom and a full-width one-story front verandah added about 1900. Also on the property are the contributing corn crib and workshop (c. 1840), traverse frame barn, buggy shed (c. 1840), main barn (c. 1840), chicken house (c. 1885), garage (c. 1900), and four double hog houses (c. 1920).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The station is owned by Pilgrim Communications LLC and airs a conservative talk radio format. It is simulcast with co-owned AM 950 WXLW. The studios and offices are on Industrial Drive in Franklin, Indiana. The transmitter is co-located with the studios, near U.S. Route 31. WFDM-FM is a Class A FM station with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 3,400 watts. By contrast, some Indianapolis stations are powered at 50,000 watts.

Whiteland is a town in Pleasant, Franklin and Clark townships, Johnson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 4,599 at the 2020 census. Whiteland is located in north/central Johnson County approximately 19 miles (31 km) south of Indianapolis in Johnson County, which is one of the counties circling the capital city itself and therefore considered part of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Major access roads to get to Whiteland are I-65 (exit 95 is the Whiteland exit), south on U.S. 31 from Indianapolis and north from Columbus.

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church and parsonage located at Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. The church was built in 1911, and is a one-story, front-gable frame building with a medium-pitched gable on hip roof. It features a simple two-story square tower topped by a square cupola and a large projecting semi-hexagonal apse. The associated parsonage was built about 1925.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Greenlawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery and national historic district located at Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. It is a landscape-lawn style cemetery established in 1845, and contains roughly 15,000 burials. Located in the cemetery is a small Gothic Revival style chapel (1878, now cemetery office) and the Romanesque Revival Main Mausoleum (1911). Notable burials at Greenlawn include US Congressman William W. Wick (1796–1868), Governor Roger D. Branigin (1902–1975), Mayor Lemuel Ertus Slack (1874–1952), and Hall of Fame basketball player Fuzzy Vandivier (1903–1983).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

August Zeppenfeld House, also known as the Zeppenfeld-Cain House, is a historic home located in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. It was built in 1872, and is a two-story, rectangular, three bay, Italianate style brick dwelling with a one-story frame wing. One-story frame additions were made to the house about 1910, 1935, and the 1960s. It features a low hipped roof and arches openings.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
