Hopewell Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located in Franklin Township, Johnson County, Indiana, United States. It was built in 1902, and is a two-story, Gothic Revival style Akron Plan design church. It is topped by an octagonal dome and features pointed arches, crenelation, and steeply pitched roof. A one-story hip roofed addition was built in 1927, and another one-story addition in 1958.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Van Nuys Farm, also known as the Van Nuys Homestead, is a historic home and farm located in Franklin Township, Johnson County, Indiana, United States. The house was built in 1866, and is a two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling with a hipped roof. It features a pedimented entrance with transom and a full-width one-story front verandah added about 1900. Also on the property are the contributing corn crib and workshop (c. 1840), traverse frame barn, buggy shed (c. 1840), main barn (c. 1840), chicken house (c. 1885), garage (c. 1900), and four double hog houses (c. 1920).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The church was built in 1911, and is a one-story, front-gable frame building with a medium-pitched gable on hip roof. It features a simple two-story square tower topped by a square cupola and a large projecting semi-hexagonal apse. The associated parsonage was built about 1925.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Greenlawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery and national historic district located at Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. It is a landscape-lawn style cemetery established in 1845, and contains roughly 15,000 burials. Located in the cemetery is a small Gothic Revival style chapel (1878, now cemetery office) and the Romanesque Revival Main Mausoleum (1911). Notable burials at Greenlawn include US Congressman William W. Wick (1796–1868), Governor Roger D. Branigin (1902–1975), Mayor Lemuel Ertus Slack (1874–1952), and Hall of Fame basketball player Fuzzy Vandivier (1903–1983).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

August Zeppenfeld House, also known as the Zeppenfeld-Cain House, is a historic home located in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. It was built in 1872, and is a two-story, rectangular, three bay, Italianate style brick dwelling with a one-story frame wing. One-story frame additions were made to the house about 1910, 1935, and the 1960s. It features a low hipped roof and arches openings.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The district encompasses 32 contributing buildings in the central business district of Franklin. It developed between about 1850 and 1935, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Romanesque, and Classical Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Johnson County Courthouse. Other notable buildings include the Herriott-Clarke Building (1853), former City Hall and Opera House (1895), Artcraft Theater (1924), and Wigwam Mineola Tribe Building (c. 1915).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
