Angmering & Findon is an electoral division of West Sussex in the United Kingdom and returns one member to sit on West Sussex County Council. The current County Councillor, Deborah Urquhart, is also Cabinet Member for Environment & Economy.

Clapham is a rural village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It lies on varying downslopes and escarpment of the South Downs National Park three miles (5 km) north of Angmering on the A280 road and north of the A27 crossroads. It is adjacent to the village of Patching.

Phun City was a rock festival held at Ecclesden Common near Worthing, England, from 24 July to 26 July 1970. Excluding the one-day free concerts in London's Hyde Park, Phun City became the first large-scale free festival in the UK.

The Oval Raceway, also known as the Angmering Motor Sports Centre or Angmering Raceway is a motor racing circuit on the outskirts of Angmering, near Worthing, West Sussex in the United Kingdom.The 25-acre (100,000 m2) site was started by local man Jim Hazelgrove and is focused on a 0.25 miles (0.40 km) concrete banked oval track, inside of which is a smaller circuit for go-karts, mini motos and pit bikes. The main track primarily hosts stock car, hot rod and banger racing, as well as special events such as demolition derbies caravan racing and car jumps.

Worthing West is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since its 1997 creation by Sir Peter Bottomley, a Conservative, who is the Father of the House of Commons.

Titnore Wood is an area of ancient woodland to the north-west of Worthing in West Sussex. With neighbouring Goring Wood it forms one of the last remaining blocks of ancient woodland on the West Sussex coastal plain. Since 2006 land in and around the wood has been the site of a proposed major urban extension to the Worthing suburb of West Durrington. The proposed development has prompted environmental protestors to tree-sit within the wood since May 2006. Since then Worthing Borough Council has agreed to a substantial new housing development just to the east of the woods themselves, as an extension of Durrington. This includes a new school, doctors surgery and around 2000 new houses on agricultural land. Titnore wood is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest, as is neighbouring Goring Wood and Highdown Hill. Much of the site lies within the boundaries of the new South Downs National Park.

Highdown Hill is a hill in the South Downs, with a height of 81 metres (266 ft). The summit of the hill and its western slopes lie in the parish of Ferring in the Arun district, while its eastern slopes lie in the borough of Worthing. It is a popular spot for picnickers, dog-walkers and horse riders. It overlooks Littlehampton, Angmering, Ferring and Worthing with views as far east as the Seven Sisters and west to the Isle of Wight. It is the property of the National Trust. To the north, the ancient hill forts of Cissbury Ring and Chanctonbury Ring can be seen, and the visible remains of an Bronze Age hill fort exist on the summit of Highdown Hill. Highdown Hill is the traditional burial-place of the kings of Sussex.At the base of the hill, there is a car park, toilets, public gardens, cafe, hotel and restaurant.

Highdown New Mill or Ecclesden Mill is a tower mill at Angmering, Sussex, England which has been converted to residential accommodation.

Castle Goring is a Grade I listed country house in Worthing, in West Sussex, England about 4.5 miles (7 kilometres) northwest of the town centre. One of Worthing's two Grade I listed buildings (deemed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to be of exceptional interest), it has been described by architectural critic Ian Nairn as reflecting "the equivocal taste of the 1790s as well as anywhere in the country."Castle Goring was designed by John Rebecca for Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Baronet. It was intended that his grandson, the renowned poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, would live at Castle Goring; however, he drowned in Italy aged 29, so he never took possession of the house. In 1845, Mary Shelley, who inherited the building as widow of the poet, sold it to Vice-Admiral Sir George Brooke-Pechell, RN, who'd been residing at the property as a tenant since 1825. It is currently owned by Lady Colin Campbell.

Ecclesden Manor is a Grade II* listed country house in Angmering, West Sussex, England. It was built for John Forster in 1634.

Blackpatch is an archaeological site in West Sussex, England, about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of the village of Findon and about 3 miles (4.8 km) north-west of Worthing. It is the site of a Neolithic flint mine, and Bronze Age barrows. The site is a scheduled monument.
