New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is a 171-acre botanic garden and arboretum located in Boylston, Massachusetts, approximately 8 miles (13 km) north of central Worcester in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The Garden features 18 distinct gardens, preserved woodlands, and miles of walking trails.It was founded in 1986 on the former Tower Hill Farm by the Worcester County Horticultural Society, which maintains its headquarters here and is the third oldest horticultural society in the U.S.The mission of New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is to: "Create experiences with plants that inspire people and improve the world." This mission is enhanced by six organizational values: Learning, Stewardship, Sustainability, Inclusivity, Joy, and Excellence.

The Wachusett Reservoir is the second largest body of water in the state of Massachusetts. It is located in central Massachusetts, northeast of Worcester. It is part of the water supply system for metropolitan Boston maintained by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). It has an aggregate capacity of 65 billion US gallons (250,000,000 m3) and an area of almost 7 square miles (18 km2). Water from the reservoir flows to the covered Norumbega Storage Facility via the Cosgrove Tunnel and the MetroWest Water Supply Tunnel. The reservoir has a maximum depth of 120 feet (37 m) and a mean depth of 48 feet (15 m). The reservoir serves as both an intermediate storage reservoir for water from the Quabbin Reservoir, and a water source itself, fed by its own watershed. The reservoir is fed by the Quinapoxet and Stillwater rivers, along with the Quabbin Aqueduct, which carries water from the Quabbin Reservoir. It is part of the Nashua River watershed, forming the headwaters of the river. Because it is an intermediate storage reservoir, its water levels are kept relatively constant while the Quabbin Reservoir fluctuates based on precipitation and demand. At times when the Wachusett Reservoir becomes high due to its own watershed producing a large amount of runoff such as during snow melting, the flow from the Quabbin is shut off and water from the Ware River flows backwards down the Quabbin Aqueduct into the Quabbin Reservoir for storage.

Cemetery Island is a heavily forested island located in the Wachusett Reservoir in Clinton, Massachusetts. The island's name came from its being part of an old burial ground that was flooded by the creation of the reservoir; 3,816 bodies were removed and reinterred in St. John's Cemetery in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Barlin Acres (or the Keyes-Dakin House) was an historic house located on what is now East Temple Street in Boylston, Massachusetts. Built in 1734 and eventually transformed into a summer estate house, it was home to a founder of Boylston, and a good example of colonial and Federal period architecture. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 26, 1982. It was subsequently demolished to make way for the clubhouse of the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, which now stands on its site. The clubhouse contains architectural elements recovered from the house, including some flooring and the 19th century Music Room.

The Stephen Hastings House is a historic house at 20 Squareshire Road in Sterling, Massachusetts. Built in 1794, this 2+1⁄2-story house is believed to be the earliest brick house built in what is now Sterling. The brick is laid in Flemish bond on the front facade, and in English bond on the other three sides, and there are four large end-wall chimneys. A kitchen ell, dating to the 20th century, extends from the rear of the house. Most of its styling (both interior and exterior) is Federal, although some Greek Revival styling was added in the 19th century.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Wachusett Aqueduct is a secondary aqueduct that carries water from the Wachusett Reservoir to the John J. Carroll Water Treatment Plant at Walnut Hill in Marlborough, Massachusetts. It is part of the public water supply system for the communities of Greater Boston that are served by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), which manages the aqueduct. The aqueduct serves as a standby backup to the Cosgrove Tunnel.

The Wachusett Dam in Clinton, Massachusetts, impounds the Nashua River, creating the Wachusett Reservoir. Construction started in 1897 and was completed in 1905. It is part of the Nashua River Watershed. This dam is part of greater Boston's water system, maintained and controlled by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). Its discharge is into the Nashua River. When it was completed in 1905, the Wachusett Reservoir was the largest public water supply reservoir in the world. At that time, the Wachusett Reservoir Dam was the largest gravity dam in the world as well.

The Sterling Camp Meeting Grounds, also known at the Worcester Methodist District Camp was a Methodist camp ground founded in 1852 that was located south of the East and West Waushacum Ponds and two miles south of Sterling, Massachusetts. The 14-mile Fitchburg and Worcester Rail Line brought visitors to Sterling Junction, which was a short walk to the Sterling Camp Meeting Grounds. The Boston and Maine Railroad brought people from Boston, Lowell, and Cambridge for the one week to 10-day retreats. More than 1,000 people attended the summer revivals from all over the state of Massachusetts. The site had a number of amenities for lodging, meals, and services.

Our Lady of Jasna Gora Parish - designated for Polish immigrants in Clinton, Massachusetts, United States. Founded 1913. It is one of the Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Diocese of Worcester. Merged July 1, 2010 to form St John the Guardian of Our Lady, Clinton.

The Bigelow Carpet Company Woolen Mills are a historic mill complex on Main Street in Clinton, Massachusetts. The sprawling mill complex was built or expanded by the Bigelow Carpet Company, one of Clinton's leading business for much of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It continues to be adaptively reused by smaller businesses.
