Olympia Regional Airport

The Olympic Flight Museum is an aviation museum at the Olympia Airport in Olympia, Washington, USA. The museum has more than 10 vintage planes and helicopters on display, most of which are in airworthy condition. The museum also hosts the annual Olympic Air Show, featuring a selection of heritage and current military aircraft demonstrations.

The Washington State Library is a government agency that operates public libraries in Washington state's prisons and mental hospitals, and maintains collections related to the state government. Based in Tumwater, it is a service of the Washington Secretary of State and was founded in 1853 as the Washington Territorial Library. The library has a collection of 2.25 million physical items and other online resources available to residents of the state.

The Bush butternut tree was a butternut tree in Tumwater, Washington, planted in 1845 by George Washington Bush, an African-American veteran of the War of 1812 who became a pioneer of the Puget Sound region and founder of the city of Tumwater. The tree was thought to be the oldest butternut in the United States and possibly the oldest in the world. Historians are divided on whether Bush brought a seed or seedling with him from Missouri in the United States to the Puget Sound area, then in Oregon Country.The original tree stood on Bush's homestead, now Bush Prairie Farm and a land trust, near Olympia Airport. It was seriously damaged in a windstorm in 2015, and collapsed on May 1, 2021 at the age of 176 years.In 2009, a tree grown from a seed of the original tree was planted on the Washington State Capitol campus in Olympia, Washington. Another was planted at Washington State University in Eastern Washington in 2014. Another was planted in Centralia, Washington, in 2017, commemorating its founder George Washington, another African-American settler, and his namesake President George Washington.

Tumwater High School is a secondary school in Tumwater, Washington serving grades 9–12 in Thurston County. It is one of two comprehensive high schools in the Tumwater School District. Tumwater High School generally draws students from the portions of the Tumwater School District east of Interstate 5 and the Littlerock area west of I-5. Tumwater High School caters to its student population by having an extended parking lot, called "overflow", which allows for some ease whilst parking. During bus arrival, there are usual delays to the ability to park.

Bush is an unincorporated community in Thurston County, in the U.S. state of Washington. The community is east of the Olympia Regional Airport and southeast of the city of Tumwater.

Munn Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Washington. The Olympia Regional Airport lies to the southwest of the lake and the community of Bush is situated to the south. Two other bodies of water in the surrounding area, Susan Lake and Trails End Lake, are in near proximity to Munn Lake. The lake has a surface area of approximately 30 acres (12 ha) and reaches a depth of 19 feet (5.8 m).Munn Lake was named after Edwin Munn, a dairy farmer who operated in the area in the early 20th century.

Pioneer Park is located in Tumwater, Washington, on the Deschutes River. The park is equipped for a variety of court and field sports and visitors can access the river. The park's terrain is flat and contains a wheelchair accessible, partially paved loop trail covering 1.5 miles (2.4 km). There is a playground area and several picnic locations.Pioneer Park is used as a primary viewing location from which to watch firework displays during the city of Tumwater's July 4th celebrations.

Barnes Lake is a private lake in the U.S. state of Washington.Barnes Lake has the name of Nelson Barnes, the proprietor of a slaughterhouse at the lakeside.

Tumwater is a city in Thurston County, Washington, United States. The population was 25,350 at the 2020 census. The city is situated near where the Deschutes River enters Budd Inlet, the southernmost point of Puget Sound; it also borders the state capital of Olympia to the north. Tumwater is the oldest permanent Anglo-American settlement on Puget Sound.

Trosper Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Washington. The lake has a surface area of 17 acres (6.9 ha) and reaches a depth of 12 feet (3.7 m).Trosper Lake was named after John Trosper, a pioneer citizen.

KUOW (1340 AM, "News & Information") is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Tumwater, Washington, United States, the station is currently owned by the University of Washington and operated by KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio. It features programming from American Public Media, National Public Radio, and Public Radio International. The station is currently a simulcast of sister station KUOW-FM.

Tumwater Methodist Church is a historic church at 219 W. B Street in Tumwater, Washington. It was built in 1872 and added to the National Register in 1984. When it was built it was one of two churches in Tumwater, (the other being Baptist); initially the minister rode circuit preaching and serving much of Thurston County over the course of the week. The Olympia Methodist Church helped to support the Tumwater church's formation. In the 1930s the adjacent parsonage was sold and a two-story addition was built uphill from the original church which added a social hall, classrooms, and plumbing. The building served as the location of Tumwater Methodist Church for almost 100 years until they sold the property to Unitarians in the 1960s, who worshiped there it until outgrowing it and transferring ownership, in the early 1990s, to a Quaker congregation. The building currently hosts St. James' Christian Episcopal Church. This congregation worships according to the Book of Common Prayer (1928) edition. Often considered a High Church tradition, which is found in many Anglo-Catholic parishes.
