Douglas Reynolds Gallery is an art gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located in the Business Improvement Area of South Granville. The gallery was founded in 1995 by Douglas Reynolds.

It is located across False Creek from Downtown Vancouver under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge. The peninsula was an industrial manufacturing area in the 20th century. The area was named after Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville. Granville Island includes a public market, an marina, a hotel, the False Creek Community Centre, as well as various performing arts theatres including the Arts Club Theatre Company and Carousel Theatre. The Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage (formerly the Stanley Theatre) is a landmark theatre at 12th Avenue and Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia which serves as the main stage for the Arts Club Theatre Company. The Stanley first opened as a movie theatre in December 1930, and showed movies for over sixty years before falling revenues led to its closure in 1991. After years of threatened commercial redevelopment, the Stanley was renovated as a stage theatre in 1997–1998 and subsequently awarded status as a heritage building. As a stage for the Arts Club, the Stanley has been used to put on classics, Broadway musicals and other large productions, including Swing!, My Fair Lady, Miss Saigon, Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Irving Berlin's White Christmas. The theatre, which went through major fundraising to finance its renovations and mortgage, at one stage lost its sponsor du Maurier due to tobacco regulations, but in 2005 received new sponsorship from Industrial Alliance Pacific Life Insurance Company and the theatre's name was changed to the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

Fairview is a neighbourhood on the west side of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. George Wainborn Park is a 2.5-hectare park along False Creek, located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was opened in 2004 and named after George Wainborn, who served as Vancouver's Parks Commissioner for 33 years. The site of park was once home to Robertson Hackett Sawmill Company Limited since late 19th Century. Ron Baird's Spirit Catchers statue stood here for duration of Expo 86 next to Great Ramses Exhibit and McBarge before being relocated to Barrie, Ontario.

Hycroft Manor is a mansion in the Shaughnessy district of Vancouver. It was designed and built in 1909–12 by Thomas Hooper for Alexander Duncan McRae who was a businessman, farmer, politician and soldier. The internal plasterwork was sculpted by Charles Marega. During the Second World War, it was donated by McRae to be used as a hospital for wounded soldiers. In 1962, it was bought by the Canadian Federation of University Women who renovated it to be their clubhouse.
