Cole is a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. It is in the area commonly known as North Denver. According to the Piton Foundation in 2007 the population of the neighborhood was 6,041, and there were 1,794 housing units. At the time of the 2010 census, the racial breakdown of the neighborhood was 19.59% non-Hispanic white, 16.7% African American, 61.21% Hispanic or Latino, 0.43% Native American, and 0.45% Asian.

38th & Blake station (sometimes stylized as 38th•Blake) is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station on the A Line in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The station is the first station eastbound from Union Station in Downtown Denver and sixth westbound from Denver International Airport. Travel times are about four minutes from Union Station and 33 minutes from Denver Airport. 38th & Blake station is also served by TheRide buses and has a 200-space park-and-ride lot, connected via a pedestrian bridge over freight rail lines.The station opened on April 22, 2016, along with the rest of the A Line.38th & Blake station is planned to be the centerpiece to a new, transit-oriented neighborhood that would replace existing industrial buildings with mixed-use buildings for residences, offices and retail. It is also proposed as the northern terminus of the L Line, created by extending the existing terminus north from 30th & Downing station along Downing Street.

The Mission Ballroom is a concert venue located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The building opened in August 2019 with a capacity of nearly 4,000 patrons. Operated by AEG Presents Rocky Mountain, the venue is viewed a competitor to the Live Nation operated Fillmore Auditorium.

30th & Downing station (sometimes styled as 30th•Downing) is a RTD light rail station in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, United States. Originally operating as part of the D Line, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. It is the current northern terminus for Five Points trains. Currently there is only one track on Welton Street for light rail trains, necessitating track sharing for trains in both directions between here and 20th & Welton. Therefore, only one line serves this station and all stations on the Five Points branch.

Whittier is a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, located approximately two miles northeast of downtown Denver. The boundaries of the neighborhood are 23rd Avenue to the south, Martin Luther King Boulevard (32nd) to the north, Downing St. to the west and York St. to the east. The neighborhood is mostly residential and old (1890s) by standards of the cities of the American West. Most of the housing stock was built prior to the 1940s.The neighborhood is named for an elementary school located at 25th Avenue and Downing St. which was named after John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892), an abolitionist poet and a founding member of the American Republican political party. Given the philosophy of Whittier, the neighborhood was ethnically integrated from its inception. Today, the Whittier neighborhood is ethnically diverse with Blacks, Hispanics, and Whites composing the population. A combination of proximity to downtown, parks and a public golf course in addition to a housing stock of early twentieth century homes of craftsman architecture at reasonable prices is driving an influx of young professionals and their families to the Whittier neighborhood.

29th & Welton station was an RTD light rail station in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, United States. Formerly operating as part of the D Line, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and was operated by the Regional Transportation District.The station closed on January 6, 2013, as part of RTD's January Service Changes to help with keeping trains running on time and improving bus connections at the 30th & Downing station. The RTD Board of Directors voted in October 2013 to not demolish the station in light of ongoing studies of the Welton Street corridor. The January 14, 2018 service changes introduced the L Line, which now passes through this station in place of the D Line.

Denver Coliseum is an indoor arena, owned by the City and County of Denver, operated by its Denver Arts & Venues and located in Denver, Colorado. The arena holds 10,200 people and was built from 1949 to 1951. The coliseum is located in Denver's Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. It sits where the Denver Pacific Railway broke ground on its Cheyenne line in 1868. Opening on November 8, 1951, with a six-day run of Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies, today the Denver Coliseum is an integral venue of the National Western Stock Show and hosts a multitude of other events including: commencement ceremonies, rodeos, ice shows, motor shows, circuses, concerts, motivational seminars, dances, exhibits and trade shows. Notables include: CHSAA high school volleyball, spirit and basketball playoffs and championships, Disney on Ice, The Denver March Pow Wow, The Denver Coliseum Mineral, Fossil, Gem, and Jewelry Show, cheerleading competitions and roller derby. After McNichols Sports Arena (MSA) opened in 1975, the coliseum continued on as an alternate venue to the larger arena for events requiring less seating or overall space. This continues today after the Pepsi Center (now Ball Arena) opened in 1999, and the subsequent demolition of MSA in 2000.

The John Elsner House is an Italianate-style house located at 2810 Arapahoe Street in Denver, Colorado. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 17, 1979.The house was commissioned in 1872 by Denver physician John Elsner. Elsner was an important early figure in the Denver medical community, having arrived in the city in 1866 when it had a population of only about 4,000 people. In 1870, he was appointed Denver's first county physician and created the first county hospital, which operated out of a small shelter. He played a vital role in organizing the Denver Medical Society in 1871 and assisted in the establishment of the National Jewish Hospital. He was also known to work with local Native American tribes.

K225BS (92.9 FM) is a radio station that broadcast local artists/bands from Denver, Colorado operated by the Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Network, Inc. under the branding of "Denver Open Media". The station carried mainly locally originated content from local musical artists, and from a membership base of approximately 500 local individuals and organizations who used Denver Open Media equipment and facilities to produce and broadcast shows on radio and cable television. The station mainly served downtown Denver proper over-the-air.

27th & Welton station (sometimes styled as 27th•Welton) is a RTD light rail station in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, United States. Originally operating as part of the D Line, the station was opened on December 19, 1995, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. The stop was opened over a year after the rest of light rail line after support from the neighborhood. The January 14, 2018, service changes introduced the L Line, which now serves this station in place of the D Line.
