Djursholms Ekeby

Djursholms Ösby is a branch railway station on Roslagsbanan, a suburban commuter railway north of Stockholm in Sweden. It serves Ösby in Djursholm in Danderyd Municipality and is 6.6 km from Stockholm East Station. The station opened in 1890 when Djursholmsbanan line was inaugurated, at the site where this line branched off from the tracks to Rimbo, and was originally called Djursholm. From 1893 to 1920 the name of the station was Ösby and since then it has been Djursholms Ösby. The line was electrified on 15 May 1895. In 1910 another branch was opened, also from this site, first to Altorp, later extended to Lahäll and Näsbypark. With local traffic in four directions, the station became very busy, with approximately 340 trains per day in the early 1950s, making it one of Sweden's busiest railway stations at the time. It originally had a train shed for Djursholmsbanan. The original Djursholmsbanan (the Eddavägen branch line) was closed in 1976, and during the 1970s and 1980s the whole Roslagsbanan was threatened with closure, but in the late 1990s Djursholms Ösby station was completely renovated. There are four platforms: two for the Kårsta and Österskär lines and two for the Näsbypark line. The old station building remains in the middle, and is now rented by a private tenant. A signal box, which was still in use into the 1980s, also remains.

Roslags Näsby is a neighbourhood in the southern part of Täby Municipality, north of Stockholm. It is dominated by detached single-family houses. As of 2018, a plan to redevelop the area has been approved. The present railway station (Roslagsbanan) will be demolished and replaced by a new one a bit further north. Most of the present buildings on the western side of the station will also be replaced by 1,400 new dwellings in multistory apartment buildings.

Enebyberg is a suburban area in Stockholm, Sweden and a part of Danderyd Municipality, Stockholm County. It was founded in the beginning of the 1900s and became a municipal community in 1914. Enebyberg later merged with Danderyd, Stocksund, and Djursholm to form Danderyd Municipality. Its location is very close to Täby Municipality,, therefore forming a part of its urban area. Swedish writer Jonas Gardell is from Enebyberg.

Bragevägen Railway Stop (in Swedish Bragevägens hållplats) used to be a railway stop of the Djursholmsbanan, a part of the Roslagsbanan which was discontinued in 1976. The station was situated at the intersection of Bragevägen and Valevägen in Djursholm, next to Djursholms församlingsgård. When coming from Stockholm Ö, it was the first stop after Djursholms Ösby and was followed by Djursholms Sveavägen.Station code: Bvg

Mörby station is a railway station on the Roslagsbanan 891 mm narrow gauge railway located in Danderyd Municipality northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. Opened in 1906, the station is not directly adjacent to the nearby Danderyds sjukhus metro station (opened in 1978), but it is just a few hundred meters away from it, allowing for interchange by just a short walk. The primary maintenance shop for Roslagsbanan, Mörby verkstäder, is located just south of the station.

Mörby centrum is a shopping mall in the municipality of Danderyd north of Stockholm. It is also the name of a station of the Stockholm Metro accessed from the shopping mall. Mörby Centrum was built in 1961 by the architects Fors & Son and has since then been expanded in several steps. It was converted into an indoor shopping mall in 1977.

Mörby centrum metro station is the end station on line 14 on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located by Mörby centrum shopping mall, Danderyd Municipality. The station was inaugurated on 29 January 1978 as the northern terminus of the extension from Universitetet. It is decorated by the artist Karin Ek.

Roslagsleden (Roslags Trail) is a 190 km long hiking trail in Stockholm County, Sweden.Roslagsleden is part of the European route E6 which goes from Kilpisjärvi in the north to Greece in the south. The trail is split up in 11 sections that range from 9 to 22 km each. There are several campsites and lodging is available throughout the trail. Roslagsleden starts in Danderyd and finishes in Grisslehamn, and also passes through the town of Norrtälje. Trees by the trail are marked with an orange color.

Danderyds sjukhus is a metro station in suburban Danderyd Municipality, north of Stockholm, Sweden. The station was opened on 29 January 1978 as part of the extension from Universitetet to Mörby centrum and serves the nearby Danderyds sjukhus hospital. The Mörby railway station on the Roslagsbanan is situated a few hundred metres from this station.

Djursholms Samskola is the traditional name of a middle school in Djursholm, Sweden. The official name of the school today is Viktor Rydbergs Samskola.

Danderyd Hospital (Swedish: Danderyds sjukhus) is a hospital in Danderyd Municipality in northern Greater Stockholm opened in 1922. Until 1964 it was called Centrallasarettet i Stocksund.As a result of rising levels of open threats to staff from patients and their relatives, in the spring of 2018 staff received anonymous name badges and security guards escorted staff to their private vehicles on the car park to protect them from threatening individuals waiting for staff to end their shift.

Åva Gymnasium is a public secondary school located in Täby, Sweden, a suburb to the north of the capital, Stockholm. Established in 1970, it teaches most of the Swedish national curriculum programmes, as well as a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma programme, with an mandatory pre-IB year at Åva before beginning the programme in order to make up for the 1-year gap between Sweden and other parts of the world. The student population is around 1,300. The school is strong in the sciences, and has won numerous national science competition awards as well as awards for its restaurant programme, located in a nearby hotel. Recently the IB department has been among the most successful in the country gradewise and is a big contributor of students to the top national universities. The school receives a yearly scholarship from the Hans Buhre memory fund in order to assist young science-minded students in continuing their studies in higher education, as the namesake of the fund is an Åva alumni and went on to found the second largest employer in Täby municipality. The student newspaper, Cumulus, is printed annually and won the Lilla Journalistpriset (Young Journalist Award) in 2011 and 2013. The school has a historical rivalry with another very close Täby school, Tibble Gymnasium, and every year competes in a sporting competition between the two schools.
