Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady, Macau

The Diocese of Macau (Portuguese: Diocese de Macau; Chinese: 天主教澳門教區) is a Latin Church exempt ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church, in contrast with the Diocese of Hong Kong, which is, de jure, part of the Ecclesiastical Province of Guangdong. The territory of the Diocese of Macau encompasses Macau, a special administrative region of China. In theory, a part of Guangdong province also belongs to the diocese, but in practice, the diocese is limited to Macau. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady. Its patron saints are Francis Xavier and Catherine of Siena, and its motto is Scientia et Virtus (Knowledge and Virtue). Stephen Lee Bun-sang is the current bishop and the third Chinese bishop of the diocese.

The Lou Kau Mansion (traditional Chinese: 盧家大屋; simplified Chinese: 卢家大屋; pinyin: Lújiā Dàwū; Portuguese: Casa de Lou Kau) is a historical house in Sé, Macau, China. Built in 1889, the mansion is one of the designated historical sites in the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Holy House of Mercy of Macau (Portuguese: Santa Casa da Misericórdia; Chinese: 仁慈堂大樓), is a historic building in Senado Square, Macau, China. Established as a branch of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia, it was first built in 1569 on the orders of the Bishop of Macau, Belchior Carneiro Leitão. It was a medical clinic and several other social welfare structures in early Macau. It later served as an orphanage and refuge for widows of sailors lost at sea. It is part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Macau General Post Office (Chinese: 澳門郵政局大樓; Portuguese: Edificio Sede dos CTT) is a 3-storey building at the intersection of Senado Square and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro in Sé, Macau, China. The current building was built in 1929.

Macau Post and Telecommunications (Portuguese: Correios e Telecomunicações de Macau; Chinese: 澳門郵電局) is an entity under the Government of Macao responsible for postal services and telecommunications regulation. The acronym CTT comes from the former name of Portuguese postal administration (Portuguese: Correios, Telégrafos e Telefones, meaning "Post, Telegraph and Telephone") during the colonial period of Macao.

Saint Dominic's Church (Chinese: 板樟堂; Portuguese: Igreja de São Domingos) is a late 16th-century Baroque-style church that serves within the Cathedral Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Macau. It is in the peninsular part of the city at the Largo de São Domingos, near the Leal Senado Building. It was finished in 1587 and overseen by three Spanish Dominican priests. Due to renovations and reconstruction, the current structure dates from the early 17th century. It is one of 29 sites forming the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Macao Public Library (Chinese: 澳門公共圖書館; Portuguese: Biblioteca Pública de Macau) is the public library system of Macau. The head office is on the ground floor of the old building of the Sir Robert Ho Tung Library in São Lourenço.

The Senado Square, or Senate Square (Chinese: 議事亭前地; Cantonese Yale: Yíh Sih Tìhng Chìhn Deih; Portuguese: Largo do Senado), is a paved town square in Sé, Macau, China, and part of the UNESCO Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site. It is an elongated triangular shaped square and connects Largo do São Domingos at one end and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro on the other. It covers an area of 3,700 square meters (4,425 square yards)

The Octagonal Pavilion Library (simplified Chinese: 八角亭图书馆; traditional Chinese: 八角亭圖書館), or Bajiaoting Library, formally named as the Reading and Newspaper Room attached to the Macau Chinese Chamber of Commerce, simply known as Octagonal Pavilion, is a library located on the periphery of the S. Francisco Garden of Macau. The library is named after its octagonal pavilion shape.

The Leal Senado Building (Portuguese for Loyal Senate) was the seat of Portuguese Macau's government (Legislative Assembly of Macau and Municipal Council of Macau). It is located at one end of the Senado Square in São Lourenço, Macau, China. It currently houses Macau's Municipal Affairs Bureau.

The Municipality of Macau (Portuguese: Concelho de Macau) was one of two municipalities of Macau, along with the Municipality of Ilhas.

Municipal Council of Macau (Portuguese: Leal Senado, lit. Loyal Senate), was the local government structure in Macau (similar to city councils) during Portuguese colonial rule. The title Leal Senado was bestowed on Macau's government in 1810 by Portugal's prince regent João, who later became King John VI of Portugal. This was a reward for Macau's loyalty to Portugal during the Philippine Dynasty, between 1580 and 1640. Following the handover in 1999, the Council was replaced by a Provisional Municipal Council and finally replaced by the Municipal Affairs Bureau. Like its Municipal Council predecessors, the Institute meets at the Leal Senado Building.
