Ewbanks is an unincorporated community in Ellington Township, Adams County, Illinois, United States. Ewbanks is located along a railroad line northeast of Quincy. It was previously known as "Eubanks". A post office called Eubanks was established in 1872, and remained in operation until 1895.

Quincy National Cemetery is a small United States National Cemetery located in the city of Quincy, in Adams County, Illinois. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses slightly less than a half an acre, and as 2014, had 690 interments. It is currently closed to new interments, and is maintained by Rock Island National Cemetery.

Ellington Township is one of twenty-two townships in Adams County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,820 and it contained 1,140 housing units. The southwest corner of the township is now part of Quincy Township.

Quincy Town Center is a highly visible mixed-use development in Quincy, Illinois. It was formerly known as Quincy Mall from 1978 to 2021 and was originally an outdoor complex called the American Legion Miracle Mile Town and Country Shopping Center. The outdoor shopping center opened in 1958. The indoor complex opened November 14, 1978 and the mall's anchor tenants are Slumberland Furniture, Quincy Medical Group, and VIP Cinemas. Both shopping centers were created by Don M. Casto Organization of Columbus, Ohio. In 2006, the mall was purchased by Cullinan Properties.

Quincy Senior High School is the regional public high school for Quincy, Illinois. It is the largest high school in Adams County, Illinois, and the only high school in Quincy Public School District 172. As of 2020, it is the 17th largest high school in Illinois by enrollment outside of Chicago.

Country Meadows is an unincorporated community in Ellington Township, Adams County, Illinois, United States. Country Meadows is north of Quincy.
