Donvale is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Manningham local government area.

Mullauna College is a public, co-educational high school in Mitcham, Victoria, Australia servicing year 7 to 12. It is located on the corner of Mitcham and Springfield Roads, and presently has an enrolment of approximately 500 local and international students. The Principal team of Mullauna College consists of Harald Ruff as Principal, Jeff McMillin as Assistant Principal and Margaret Graham as Assistant Principal.

Nunawading Province was an electorate of the Victorian Legislative Council. It was created in 1976, based in the outer eastern Melbourne suburbs including Nunawading. It was finally abolished 29 March 1996. Much of its area was replaced by Koonung Province. In the 1985 election, the result for this province was subject to much controversy when the vote ended with a complete dead heat after preferences. Both the Labor candidate Bob Ives and the Liberal candidate Rosemary Varty received 54,821 votes each. The returning officer, Kathleen Leonard, was required by law to make a casting vote, which she did so by drawing a name from a ballot box. The name drawn was Bob Ives and he was declared elected.This result did not stand, and a by-election was called, in which the Liberal candidate Varty won with a swing to her.

The City of Nunawading was a local government area about 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The city covered an area of 41.61 square kilometres (16.07 sq mi), and existed from 1925 until 1994.

The electoral district of Nunawading was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Victoria, located in the eastern Melbourne suburb of Nunawading. A notable former member was future Prime Minister, Robert Menzies. It was abolished in 1945, replaced by Box Hill.

It is centred at the intersection of Whitehorse Road and Springvale Road, in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and is the site of the main office of the City of Whitehorse, as well as large retail (e.g. furniture, auto dealerships, hardware, and electrical) and wholesale businesses, along Whitehorse Road.

Whitefriars College is a Roman Catholic Independent school for boys located in the Melbourne suburb of Donvale, Australia. Established in 1961, the college reflects the tradition of the Carmelites, and is recognised for its uniform's brown blazer with the college crest appearing on the breast pocket. The college has been a member of the Associated Catholic Colleges since 1999. The college was one of the first schools in Victoria to implement a notebook-computer program, which has now transitioned to a notebook-tablet program, in which every student is provided with a notebook-tablet.

Mitcham railway station is located on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the eastern Melbourne suburb of Mitcham, and it opened on 25 December 1882.

Nunawading railway station is located on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the eastern Melbourne suburb of Nunawading and opened on 4 June 1888 as Tunstall. It was renamed Nunawading on 1 November 1945.

Yarran Dheran Nature Reserve forms part of the Mullum Mullum Valley and is bushland park, located in Melbourne on the border of Donvale, on the banks of the Mullum Mullum Creek. The Reserve is 7.2 hectares and hosts a mix of remnant and regenerated bushland, and many native species of wildlife, particularly birds, of which 85 species may be seen. The Mullum Mullum Creek Trail runs through the Reserve and there are many unsealed bush tracks through the native bushland. There is an Information Centre in the Reserve which is open on Sunday afternoons from 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm subject to volunteer availability. The Reserve includes a series of ponds that feed a cascade to the creek during wet spells. There are toilets and mown areas for picnics and seating. Yarran Dheran is a Dogs on Lead Reserve.

Mitcham is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 20 km east from Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Whitehorse local government area. Mitcham recorded a population of 16,795 at the 2021 census.

Winlaton Youth Training Centre was a Government owned and run female youth correctional facility located on 18 acres (73,000 m2) at 186 Springvale Road Nunawading, Victoria, Australia. The facility was designed to accommodate 14- to 18-year-old wards of the state. It opened in 1956 as the Winlaton Juvenile School, and closed in 1993 as the Nunawading Youth Residential Facility. A housing estate (Candlebark Estate) now occupies the site.
