Al-Shaykh Muwannis (Arabic: الشيخ مونّس), also Sheikh Munis, was a small Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict of Mandatory Palestine, located approximately 8.5 kilometers from the center of Jaffa city in territory earmarked for Jewish statehood under the UN Partition Plan. The village was abandoned in March 1948 due to the threats of Jewish militias, two months before the 1948 Arab–Israeli war. Today, Tel Aviv University lies on part of the village land.

Tel Aviv University (TAU) (Hebrew: אוּנִיבֶרְסִיטַת תֵּל אָבִיב, Universitat Tel Aviv) is a public research university in Tel Aviv, Israel. With over 30,000 students, it is the largest university in the country. Located in northwest Tel Aviv, the university is the center of teaching and research of the city, comprising 9 faculties, 17 teaching hospitals, 18 performing arts centers, 27 schools, 106 departments, 340 research centers, and 400 laboratories. Besides being the largest university in Israel, Tel Aviv University is also the largest Jewish university in the world. It originated in 1956 when three education units merged to form the university. The original 170-acre campus was expanded and now makes up 220 acres (89 hectares) in Tel Aviv's Ramat Aviv neighborhood.

The Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and Racism is a research institute at Tel Aviv University in Israel.It is a resource for information, provides a forum for academic discussion, and fosters research on issues concerning antisemitic and racist theories and manifestations. The institute's principal focus is the social and political exploitation of these phenomena in the period since the end of World War II, and the influence of their historical background.

The Cymbalista Synagogue and Jewish Heritage Center is a cultural center and the main synagogue of Tel Aviv University. It was designed in 1996 by architect Mario Botta and constructed from 1997 to 1998. The patrons and namesakes were Paulette and Norbert Cymbalista.

The training programs are also recognized by Colleges and Universities abroad and also by their respective professional organizations in Europe, United States and China. A big part of the educational programs at Reidman College are in professional collaboration with the "Maccabbi Tivi" HMO. Along with the various multi- year programs are shorter programs and courses of semester and one-year duration. Besides profession trainings to become a therapist, there are also workshops and courses for the general public. The Reidman College teaching faculty include experts from Israel and around the world. ANU - Museum of the Jewish People, formerly the Nahum Goldmann Museum of the Jewish Diaspora, is located in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the center of the Tel Aviv University campus in Ramat Aviv. ANU - Museum of the Jewish People is a global institution that tells the ongoing story of the Jewish people, intended for people of all faiths. Re-opened to the public on March 10, 2021, it is the world’s only museum dedicated to celebrating and exploring the experiences, accomplishments and spirit of the Jewish people from biblical times to the present. Through its educational programming, the institution works to connect Jewish people to their roots and strengthen their personal and collective Jewish identity. The museum presents a pluralistic narrative of Jewish culture, faith, purpose and deed as seen through the lens of Jewish history and current experience today.The $100 million expanded museum, which replaces Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People (Hebrew: בית התפוצות, "The Diaspora House" or "Beit Hatfutsot"), was designed and built over the past 10 years. It was funded by both the State of Israel, the Nadav Foundation and private philanthropy. As a first step in the renewal process, the museum added a new wing in 2016 with rotating temporary exhibitions, the Alfred H. Moses and Family Synagogue Hall featuring synagogue scale models, and Heroes - Trailblazers of the Jewish People, a children's interactive exhibition.The museum's new name and "its new brand identity adds “ANU” — Hebrew for “we”— to embrace inclusion and reflect the diversity and collective spirit of the Jewish people everywhere" said Museum Board Chair Irina Nevzlin. “It is a privilege to realize the transformation of this institution, which now becomes the largest and most comprehensive Jewish museum in the world. The Palmach Museum (Hebrew: מוזיאון הפלמ"ח) is a museum located in Ramat Aviv, Israel dedicated to the Palmach, the strike-force of the pre-state underground Haganah defense organization, which was later integrated into the Israel Defense Forces.

The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History, Israel National Center for Biodiversity Studies at Tel Aviv University, is a natural history museum in Israel, including both education and a research center. It is the largest and most active center in Israel of documentation and science, focusing on biodiversity research and its varied applications including nature conservation, environmental protection, and agriculture.The museum is set for the discovery, collections development and care, and scientific categorization of millions of specimens, documenting the flora and fauna in Israel and the Middle East for thousands of years, as well as the history of humankind and its interactions with the environment. It provides access to the public and the scientific and professional community.Collections holding some 5.5 million items, accumulated by scientists from Tel Aviv University and other institutions, were moved to the new museum before it opened to the public in July 2018.

Tel Aviv University railway station is an Israel Railways station in northern Tel Aviv, Israel. It is officially named Tel Aviv Universita – Merkaz HaYeridim in Hebrew (English: Tel Aviv University – Exhibition Center), due to its proximity to Tel Aviv University and Expo Tel Aviv (the Tel Aviv fairgrounds and convention center, commonly known as Ganei HaTaarucha). The station has four platforms connected by pedestrian tunnels. It is the northernmost passenger rail station in Tel Aviv; non-stop trains from the station can reach southern Haifa's Hof HaCarmel railway station in about 40 minutes. Outside the station, there is a bus terminal serving the areas adjacent to the university. In 2019, over six million passengers used the station, making it the fourth-busiest in the country.

Ramat Aviv Mall (Hebrew: קניון רמת אביב) is an upscale shopping mall at 40 Einstein Street, in Ramat Aviv, Tel Aviv. At a rent of $1,804 per square meter, it is Israel's most expensive mall and the 35th most expensive mall in the world. It houses many renowned international fashion brands including Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Montblanc, H. Stern, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Tumi, Longchamp, Tag heuer, Ralph Lauren, Carolina Herrera, Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Rolex, Nespresso, Hugo Boss and many others. Its gross leasable area is 17,800 square meters and it has 140 stores in two retail floors. Above the shopping is an office building called Ramat Aviv Mall Tower. The entire project—tower and mall—has a gross area of about 80,900 square meters. The mall is valued at 1.699 billion shekels, or 470 million dollars.

Ramat Aviv Alef or Ramat Aviv HaYeruka, and originally plainly Ramat Aviv (Hebrew: רָמַת אָבִיב, lit. Spring Heights), is a neighborhood in northwest Tel Aviv, Israel.

Afeka is a neighborhood in the north of the city of Tel Aviv, located north of the Yarkon river, which was established by the commanders of the Haganah for their families. The neighborhood is bordered in the east by the Tel Baruch neighborhood, in the south by the Tel Aviv University, in the west by the Neve Avivim neighborhood and in the northwest by the Ramat Aviv Gimel neighborhood.
