The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is the 49th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple is located in American Fork, Utah and is the second temple built in Utah County and the ninth in Utah.

American Fork High School is a public high school in American Fork, Utah, United States. Its mascot is the Caveman, chosen as a tribute to Timpanogos Cave. The school is perhaps best known for its award-winning marching band and cross country teams. The boys cross country team has consistently dominated in Utah and throughout the nation since their first state championship in 2009. American Fork High school is one of the oldest high schools in Utah. In 2017 they became one of the first schools to participate in the 6A division.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. The listing included two contributing buildings.It includes Tudor Revival, Late Victorian, and English Cottage architecture.The Delbert and Ora Chipman House, also in American Fork, is also NRHP-listed.

American Fork Hospital is a hospital located in American Fork, Utah, United States, is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is a service of Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health care system serving the Intermountain West. Hospital services include a 27-suite women's center that features single-room birthing and a 17-bed emergency department.In 2021, American Fork Hospital opened a newborn intensive care unit. The facility has 20 individual rooms and can help babies born as early as 32 weeks after conception. 2,500 to 3,000 babies per year are born at American Fork Hospital.

The Charles T. H. Goode House at 1215 E. Main St. in American Fork, Utah was built in 1897 as a residential home. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. It is noted for its usage of soft-rock as its primary building material. It is currently serving as an animal shelter. Charles T.H. Goodehouse was the home of Charles T. H. Goode, born 1847 in Wappenbury in Warwickshire, England before moving to the United States at the age of 21 after his conversion to mormonism. It remained relatively unchanged from its original 1897 state until 1940 before the interior was slightly altered and a porch was added.

The American Fork Cemetery Rock Wall on North 100 East in American Fork, Utah, United States, was built in 1937 and 1938. It was a work of the Works Progress Administration. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.The south wall is 923 feet long and the east wall is 817 feet long, ignoring breaks for entrances.

Lone Peak High School (LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year. However, it has since been given a 6A status. The school mascot is a knight.
